Cassandra is certainly not afraid to put some elbow grease into stubborn knots and stiffness, but also makes it clear that she is willing to take feedback on her work to ensure your comfort. I prefer a deep massage, and I feel like my expectations were met - and I was pleasantly surprised at how at ease she was both chatting and working in silence, a nice change from some awkward conversations and robotic silences I've had at other spas. The location is above another business and is very compact, so expect homey, not swank. The prices are more than reasonable, and the other staff appear to be equally friendly. I will be returning for more time on the table, but would also strongly consider some of the other services - reiki, mani/pedis, facials etc.

On the actual day however, she really impressed. She felt inspired by my tear drop brooch bouquet and asked if she could try something a bit more elaborate because the original style was too plain for my dress and bouquet. What I got was something I wouldn't have even known I could ask for as it was just so detailed and elaborate. I totally loved it. By the end of the night I had a couple loose ends and a bit of fizzing in heat and humidity but it held up well. I was so tired by the end of the day I ended up sleeping in my hair it was comfortable enough (I've had updos that gave me a headache they hurt so badly). I'm posting photos of mine and my maid of honor's hair. Mine was $100 and hers was a bit less. I know there is cheaper hair out there but I say it was well worth it for the mobile service in the comfort of my mom's home. Over all I would totally recommend giving Lyana consideration for a wedding, grad or other important hair style requiring occasion.

Originally the bride was going to have her make-up done by MAC and hair done by a friend but at the last minute she chose to have Lyana do her make-up instead. We chose Lyana based on her experience expressed through the wonderful portfolio pictures on her facebook page. I could tell right away that she was very good at what she does. We communicated solely over emails up until the wedding. Lyana was very easy to reach, she was always quick to respond to our emails, was able to answer all of our questions and was very accommodating to our needs. We even threw a few last minute changes her way (like location and having the bride's make-up done) and it was never a problem. She accommodated everything we asked. On the morning of the wedding, Lyana and her assistant arrived promptly as scheduled (always important for a wedding day). In no time at all they transformed us into the most beautiful expressions of ourselves. The quality of make-up she uses combined with her application techniques, gave us stunningly BEAUTIFUL looks that lasted all day and all night! Her hair designs were not only beautiful but creative and unique, like little works of art, that also held up throughout the day and evening without any problems. Not even so much as a loose pin. She seriously did such a good job, I would recommend her 100% of the time to anyone looking for a hair and/or make-up professional.
