First off, the inside is beautiful. They did an incredible job with the renovation, and I loved all the little details, especially the custom 300-pound manhole covers they're using as tables around the bar. Even better, everyone working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now the food! We started with the Baked Clams, and these were legit. You could've served them to me at an Italian restaurant and I wouldn't have questioned it. The Nonna's Ribs were probably one of the biggest surprises--slow-braised pork ribs with cherry peppers and finished on the grill. Fall-off-the-bone tender, tons of flavor, and I loved that they weren't just drenched in BBQ sauce. The Firebird crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic, and the Steakhouse Sandwich with sliced NY strip, mushrooms, provolone, crispy onions and horseradish aioli was also very well done. But that Manhole Burger deserves some special attention. Beef, American cheese, caramelized onions and dijonnaise on brioche. Simple combination, executed REALLY well. This was an outstanding burger and absolutely something I'd order again. And I can't leave out the fries. They're hand-cut in house, super thin and crispy, and exactly how I like my fries. Think that addictive thin fast-food style, except made fresh and much better quality. If you remember this location from its previous ownership, give it another shot. This is a completely different experience. Beautiful restaurant, genuinely friendly staff and food that exceeded my expectations. Foundry Tavern is a Hicksville hidden gem that deserves more attention--especially for lunch. I'll definitely be back.

Went to the Foundry Friday night…read more Off path location and not great parking. We had no reservations so we ended up sitting in the outside area. Cute little spot. Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. This owner deserves the business because he knows how to run a business. Money follows the people not the other way around.

The space features a contemporary design with a nice bar area, and the waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the evening. They also offer a happy hour menu (though it didn't apply to our visit). Food was more mixed. Overall presentation on the dinner plates missed the mark. The lasagna was solid (about a 3.0)--flavorful enough, but it just sat unevenly in the dish with no real visual appeal. The special osso buco came with a sauce that leaned too sweet; the risotto underneath was tasty, but the dish as a whole didn't quite impress. On the brighter side, the special soft-shell crabs were excellent--served in a Française-style sauce that hit the mark both in flavor and presentation. The fried calamari was fresh and tasty, elevated by the smart addition of fried artichoke hearts. Dessert sealed the night well, the homemade rice pudding sprinkled with walnuts was delicious and definitely worthy of a permanent spot on the menu. A pleasant evening overall, driven by strong atmosphere and service, with a couple of standout dishes balancing out the less memorable ones.

We ordered several dishes to share and everything was great. The Caesar salad was fresh and a perfect way to start, and the Bolognese was definitely a favorite -- rich, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comforting pasta you want at an Italian restaurant. Everything we tried was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I loved ordering a variety for the table so we could all try a little bit of everything. The cocktails were great, and the service was attentive and polished without ever making us feel rushed. Between the food, beautiful atmosphere, drinks, and service, I can see why The Farm Italy is so popular. Reservations can be tough to get, but it's absolutely worth planning ahead. Definitely a Westbury spot I'll be returning to!

I enjoyed the atmosphere- great for a fun date night. We started with drinks - I had a glass of Sauvignon blanc. To eat we had the fried calamari which was mixed with salmon and artichokes - loved this and would definitely get again. Nice light batter with a crunch and yummy sauce. I had the shrimp for my main which had 5 large shrimp served with sautéed spinach. Really filling and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the Porkchop which was a large juicy serving that he devoured. We ended the meal with espresso and olive oil cake which was warm and not too sweet. LOVED it and will crave it next time. Will definitely be back to try other items!

From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

We were actually surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday night, but we enjoyed being able to catch up and talk. The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. It's possible I'll be a somewhat regular attendee here since my friend has been hired to host karaoke here on Saturday nights, go to Brian's Karaoke on Saturday nights if you're reading this. The bartender was nice, the people in the bar were pretty friendly, it is a nice little hang out spot. I saddled up to the bar and asked if they had any non alcoholic beers, they did not. They had no orange juice, they had no cranberry juice so there went my standards of cranberry juice and seltzer, or orange juice and seltzer. Eventually I asked for red bull, no energy drinks either. I had a diet coke and later on a Shirley temple with no cherries :( So I like it here but for those of us that abstain from alcohol for whatever reason, can we have more drink choices please!

I came in with my friends to celebrate my birthday and, other than having a split decision on what to get, we happily mixed our orders with some of us getting from the Cajun menu and the others getting from the ramen menu. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta and it was pretty good. A nice big portion and good amount of shrimp, just not exactly a flavor I was crazy about. My friends that got from the Cajun side liked their meals, but said they would try the ramen next time we visit. On the other side, my friends that got ramen raved about it , loving everything they had ordered. I definitely will visit again and try the ramen next time. Other than food, service was great with very kind and attentive staff. They also made my birthday very special with free dessert and a sparkler! My friend did have a bit of a problem with her drinks, having ordered two of the alcoholic beverages and not enjoying either. Her first one had been too much juice and syrup with not any alcohol to taste, and her second one was the opposite with no juice and too strong alcohol taste. She did say that it was probably her personal preference that made her have an issue, but the staff were very understanding and a manager did come over to make sure everything was okay. I very much appreciated that and so did she! Overall, if you are in the area, this is a good spot to check out.
