Best Veal Parmigiano and Rigatoni ala Vodka I've ever had, full stop. Don't pass on this one.

I have been to Tesoro many times over the years, however, it's been several years since my last visit. My wife and I attended a family dinner there for Easter. We had a large group: 18 adults and 3 children. Tesoro did not disappoint. The staff handled our large group like a well oiled machine. Very attentive, friendly and efficient. The owner circulates the restaurant and ensures that all guests are enjoying themselves. The food here is fantastic. Traditional Italian cuisine prepared to perfection. We began with cold Antipast, eggplant rolatini, baked clams and calamari. Unfortunately, I was unable to photograph all these dishes as they were gobbled up very quickly. The eggplant was outstanding. Creamy riccota filling covered with a wonderful red sauce . Baked clams were great . Whole clams perfectly seasoned. Antipast contained quality cured meats and cheeses. Calamari was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. For the main course my wife had the veal Tesoro. She described it as unique and delicious. It was stuffed with eggplant and mozzarella and covered in an exceptional red/brown sauce. The only drawback of this dish is that it does not include a pasta or other side. She would have loved the sauce on penne. This appears to be a theme on many entrees. Including that would have been a huge plus. I went with ravioli and meatballs. The meatballs here are great. They contain a blend of meats that result in a distinctive texture and flavor. They have a great array of traditional favorites. My son chose the chicken parm which he enjoyed. Although we moved out of the area a few years ago we will definitely be back soon. Well worth the 45 minute drive. Tesoro is an old school ristorante that has been in this location for over 45 years. They truly provide a fantastic dining experience reminiscent of years gone by when the guest experience and the food was extremely important to the owner and staff. Definitely put this on top of your list when considering a fine Italian meal.

Actually 2 1/2 stars. Penne ala vodka and meatballs enjoyed! Pasta bolognese very salty. Veal Castagna disappointing in all regards... grey chewy veal, chestnut sauce lacking compared to so many others tried. Cauliflower, wee bit of, and salty. Risotto no layered flavors, nor creamy Pricey. Service was friendly and confident.

food is excellent, the service is great . There arent a lot of places that have been around for over 40 years and you can see why they are still here and will be for a long time. Very clean , full service bar with great specialty cocktails . We had chickenparm with cappelini pasta and the special which was Tomahawk Pork chop , everything cooked to perfection!

Good old school style Italian. All the dishes are fresh and very flavorful no complaints. I do wish the service was a bit better but besides that I recommend! (Get the veal parm!)

    Wonderful sole oreganata.

This is a lovely family owned restaurant worthy of this praise. They are conveniently located on Old Country Road in Hicksville at the end of a small strip mall. They also have their owned dedicated parking lot. You enter into a nie medium size restaurant with a wonderful bar area just to sit and relax. Plenty of windows allow ample lighting during the day and the evening light is soft and effective. You feel very comfortable in these settings. We came as part of our Kiwanis club meeting and had our own area with one very long table to seat us all. The staff here is very attentive to detail and paid a lot of attention to our group. They took our orders first so our meeting could begin and they would just bring our food. My meal was simple and tasty.. A nice cold crisp salad to start followed by an order of sole oreganata. The sole was fresh and tasty. A nice size order for dinner but not enough to also finish at home. The meal went very well and was followed by some coffee. This is a comfortable place to come fo a meal and I am happy to recommend it to all. am looking forward to returning and ordering off the menu. KUDOs to the team at Tesoro Ristorante Italiano

Heard the guy next to us order a French dip and the waiter said great, we have only 2 left. So when he came to us I ordered and he said great timing it's the last one. Took 45 minutes to get our strawberry salad which was delicious. Another 3o minutes go by (and the guy next to me who ordered the other French dip had already finished and left) So the strawberry waiter, after more than 1.15hr walk over and says "hey, we ran out of the French so I ordered you the steak sandwich. Huh? 1 hour and fifteen min later you ran out and the other guy already ate and left? I said great, but I'm not paying for it. 10 min later the owner came out. He could not have been a friendlier, responsible and all around nice person. It wasn't that he not only covered my meal but the table but it was the way he handled it. Owning a restaurant is not easy and problems happen. Food - 8/10 Prices 9/10 Place 8/10 I would not only recommend this place but they have absolutely earned my business. I obviously can't give a 5 because of the incident but I will change this to a 5 when I go back and get the service I have a feeling I'll receive. The space features a contemporary design with a nice bar area, and the waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the evening. They also offer a happy hour menu (though it didn't apply to our visit). Food was more mixed. Overall presentation on the dinner plates missed the mark. The lasagna was solid (about a 3.0)--flavorful enough, but it just sat unevenly in the dish with no real visual appeal. The special osso buco came with a sauce that leaned too sweet; the risotto underneath was tasty, but the dish as a whole didn't quite impress. On the brighter side, the special soft-shell crabs were excellent--served in a Française-style sauce that hit the mark both in flavor and presentation. The fried calamari was fresh and tasty, elevated by the smart addition of fried artichoke hearts. Dessert sealed the night well, the homemade rice pudding sprinkled with walnuts was delicious and definitely worthy of a permanent spot on the menu. A pleasant evening overall, driven by strong atmosphere and service, with a couple of standout dishes balancing out the less memorable ones.

The restaurant has an upscale, sophisticated feel while still being warm and inviting. It's aesthetically pleasing, beautifully maintained, and fastidiously clean, which I really appreciated. The ambiance, service, and food all matched the caliber of the space. We started with the House Bread, which was warm, buttery, soft, and absolutely delicious. Definitely one of those "I should stop eating this so I have room for dinner" situations . We also shared the Fritto Misto with calamari, pesce, artichoke, hot peppers, lemon, and fra diavolo. I even found some nice chunks of fried salmon mixed in. Everything was lightly fried rather than heavily battered or greasy, but still packed with flavor. The fra diavolo on the side complemented it perfectly. For our entrées, we both ordered the $58 Spaghetti with Maine lobster, pecorino, fra diavolo, and basil. SO GOOD! The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce had a nice little kick, and there was a generous amount of lobster throughout. I would absolutely order it again. I had the Espresso Martini, which was delicious, and my partner had the lemonade. His only critique was that it was a little tart, but I actually appreciated that. To me, it tasted freshly squeezed rather than overly sweet, watered down, or packed with sugar. Overall, we had no complaints. The Farm Italy gave us a beautiful anniversary dinner from beginning to end. Upscale atmosphere, immaculate space, great service, delicious food, and portions that felt worth it. We left happy and already talking about going back to try more of the menu. Definitely a 5-star experience for us! #foodtiktok #food #dinner #fyp #review @The Farm Italy Restaurant

I wanted the rigatoni with fennel sausage and spinach but it came in a pomodoro sauce but I don't like tomatoes so instead I ordered the primavera and added the sausage which ended up being the perfect compromise! We ended with the olive oil cake and the flourless chocolate tarte. Not a chocolate fan so didn't try it but the rest in my table enjoyed it. The olive oil cake was the highlight of the night (along with the house bread). From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service. It is definitely a spot that should not be missed.

The space is modern and beautifully decorated, but still has that cozy, comfortable feeling that makes you want to settle in, order way too much food, and stay awhile. The staff was also wonderful. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and, most importantly to me, genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. I always appreciate when the people working at a restaurant can actually talk to you about the dishes, ingredients, flavors, and what makes something special. It makes the whole experience feel much more personal. But the FOOD is absolutely the star here. Everything we tried was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and just so satisfying. My favorite dish was hands down the chili chicken momos. They had exactly the right amount of heat--spicy enough to give you that little kick, but not so much that it overpowered everything else going on in the dish. The momos themselves were delicious, and the combination of spice, savory flavor, and texture made them something I could honestly order over and over again. I also love that Banjara has some more unique cocktails rather than just the standard drinks you see everywhere. They fit the modern feel of the restaurant really well and make it a fun place to come for dinner, drinks, or both. As someone who genuinely LOVES Indian food and is always excited to explore different dishes and regional flavors, I really enjoyed my experience here. Banjara manages to feel modern without losing the soul and flavor that makes Indian food so special. Great atmosphere, genuinely kind and knowledgeable people, creative drinks, and food that makes you start thinking about what you're ordering next before you've even finished what's in front of you. The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night, yet it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our food. Even then, at the 45-minute mark, only about 40% of our order arrived. For a party of six, our order was not particularly complicated: two burritos, two taco meals, a chicken sandwich, and guacamole with chips. The remainder of the order did not arrive until the 1.5-hour mark. To make matters worse, my son's meal was incorrect when it finally came out, adding even more delay and frustration to an already lengthy wait. Throughout the wait, there were no drink refills, no updates on our order, and little attention from the staff. We also received no napkins or serving utensils with our food and had to ask for basic items that should have been provided from the start. The dining experience itself lacked any atmosphere. There was no music playing and no television on, which only made the long wait feel even longer and more uncomfortable. As for the food, it was lackluster and underwhelming. Tortilla chips and fries were burned. Bun for chicken sandwich was not warmed. The dishes were very basic, with little presentation or attention to detail, and they certainly did not justify the extended wait. What made the experience especially confusing was that this all happened while we were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. A simple order, an empty dining room, no communication, no refills, an incorrect meal, and a 90-minute wait just didn't make sense. The only positive aspect was that the restaurant is dog-friendly. Otherwise, this was one of the most frustrating and puzzling dining experiences we've had in a long time.
