There was a period of time when I probably shopped at Broadway Plaza 1-2 times PER MONTH (now I'm stuck paying off my credit cards but that's my own fault and a separate issue). What was wrong with the old system? It worked just fine. But now you have to download an app to get out of the parking garage, EVEN IF you were there for less than the three hours of courtesy parking. It's absolutely insane. And even worse, there's NO cell reception in the garage (at least with AT&T) so you can't download the app without returning to the open air mall. Maybe that's why they changed things up? So that for people who haven't been to Broadway Plaza since before the app was rolled out, they might be able to charge for more time? It's unbelievable. And... you have to enter a bunch of personal information. Why do I need to download an app to pay for parking after I've already shopped at the mall, potentially pushing one of the tenants over their percentage rent breakpoint? It's outrageous. I don't mind having the ParkMobile app for parking because it allows me to park on many different cities' streets with little to no hassle. So I'm not anti-parking app. I am anti-Metropolis parking app. At least before, you got a time-stamped ticket so you knew exactly when to leave if you wanted to avoid paying. Now you have to remember to check the precise time you entered the garage, assuming it's even time-stamping accurately. And how do you know precisely where it time-stamps you? Macerich, do better. There's a good mix of restaurants, clothing, and jewelry shops, most of which are high quality brands and the mall constantly stays fresh and vibrant although I do wish they had more restrooms outside of the ones below Industrious. Some weekends they have a maker fare or live music, but most of the time the fountain is just central to the comfortable seating area, that during the winter gets some decor for the holidays. All in all, I really do love this area and still find myself coming back year after year.

I needed to install my own Emporia Pro charger with a load balancer and wanted to get it done quickly and with a permit. I reached out to EV Charger Expert. I communicated with two people from the company: Kirill, the sales manager, and Erin, the electrician/installer. **The Good** Kirill is very prompt and responsive. He always answers the phone and is willing to discuss the details. He clearly knows the intricacies of EV charger installations, even in more complex situations. He was able to schedule the installation very quickly, and the work was completed on time. The city inspection was done one month later and passed without any issues. So, my primary goal was achieved: I had my charger installed, permitted, and running ASAP. **The Bad** The cost of the installation was fairly high. I paid $2,450 for installation, materials, and the permit. Since I provided my own charger, I believe the labor and other installation costs represented the majority of that amount. For this price, I expected a very high-quality job. Erin installed and set up everything within one day. Two relatively minor problems occurred. If the company had handled these issues better, I would have given them four or even five stars. **1. The load balancer antenna** My charger includes a load balancer with a small antenna. The antenna is supposed to stick out from the metal subpanel so that it can receive a Wi-Fi signal. After the installation, the antenna was hanging through a large round hole in the subpanel. It looked unfinished and, in my opinion, was both unattractive and potentially unsafe. I could not convince the installer to cover the opening, so I had to do it myself. I made a trip to Home Depot, spent about $10 on parts, and made a simple cover myself. The antenna is now secure and the opening is properly covered. Please see the before-and-after pictures. **2. Stripped subpanel screw** During the installation, one of the four screws holding the subpanel door was stripped. I considered this a safety issue. I notified both the installer and the sales manager by SMS that evening, as soon as I noticed it. The installer called me back two days later and, to put it mildly, was quite rude. He told me that it was not an emergency and that they would take care of it on the day of the inspection. On the day of the inspection, Kirill did not have the appropriate replacement hardware. I suggested using a tap and a slightly larger screw to repair the stripped hole, but he declined. Once again, I had to make a trip to a hardware store, purchase a set of taps and screws, and repair it myself. To be fair, Kirill reimbursed me $30 for the cost of the screws and taps. In total, I made several trips to a hardware store and spent several hours fixing issues that I believe should have been addressed by the installer. **Overall** The installation was completed quickly, on schedule, and passed the city inspection without any problems. Kirill was also very responsive throughout the process. However, given the high price, I expected better attention to detail and better handling of the two relatively minor issues that came up. Neither problem was particularly difficult or expensive to fix, but in both cases, I ultimately had to resolve the issue myself. For me, the installation achieved its main objective, but the quality of the finishing work and the way the problems were handled left something to be desired. For these reasons, I am giving EV Charger Expert three stars.

I don't think you can bring a large group to hang out and chill inside. They only have two tables and maybe 6 or 8 chairs. As for the service, it's efficient I guess. When you go inside you just go up to one of the two kiosk and then pay and that will send your order to the kitchen where they'll prepare your drink and then you just pick it up. He arrived right on time and was polite and professional from the moment he walked in. He took the time to listen to what had happened, answered all of my questions, and immediately reassured me that he would take care of everything. Mark is extremely thorough and clearly takes great pride in his work. He replaced the unit, updated and set up the app, registered the new Wall Connector with Tesla, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. He also took the time to walk me through everything so I felt completely confident it was all set up correctly. What really stands out is his honesty and fairness. His pricing was very reasonable, and at no point did he try to upsell me or recommend anything unnecessary -- something that's unfortunately rare these days. Then, I enrolled my child here. I watched their improvement and growth in dance. Guidance and corrections sprinkled with love and kindness. I watched advanced students perform and showcase their OWN work and was blown away by their talent. Suffice to say, comparision is the thief of joy and clearsighted-ness. You need to understand the environment before even making a comment or judgement. Also, and this is VERY important - - I LOVE and APPRECIATE that their advanced students dont have a homogenous "look". They come in all heights, shapes and sizes. One of my biggest fears about classical ballet schools/non competition dance schools is that you will see a clear "standard look" once you go past a certain level. I cant imagine how jarring that might be for an impressionable child who is growing into their body. I feel that seeing that GOOD dancers can come in all shapes and sizes is a testament on its own and a quiet, but powerful positive message that gets relayed to the younger students. Thankful to be part of this community! Thank you to the admin and staff for making this community welcoming and safe on top having a wonderful space to learn and grow as a dancer/performer!

And we are so glad that we had!…read more We took a 30-min private lesson ($35) to access which class would fit her best and tried the creative dance class! At Dance Connection Performing Arts Center in Concord, our 3.5 yo daughter was escorted a number of times out of her intro to ballet and tap class for 2.5 to 4 yo for "not listening." So we ditched that studio and tried this one! (But we did try a kinder teacher at DCPAC before leaving.) The Creative Dance class (single drop-in for $25, 10-class pack for $185) at The Ballet School is perfect for her, especially since she has a slow-to-warm-up temperament and is sensitive to loud sounds (ie. music, flushing toilets, leaf blowers, etc.). The value for these drop-in creative dance classes is excellent because we are willing to pay a few dollars more for our little one to have a positive experience with dance. Drop-in means that they are understanding that some days the littles aren't having a good enough day to join class and/or sick. (Btw, $45 one-time registration fee) Regarding the rest of the school, I can tell that there is a huge selection of classes including music. As a music teacher working at a music academy, I can't access the quality. However, I know there is a department near the entrance way. If you haven't tried this school, just know it supports Healthy Dance, and are a part of Dance Awareness: No Child Exploited. This was a huge factor of why we chose this school for our daughter.
