I came in here looking for a specific batter for a company van which I had never replaced on the vehicle before and the employees present were very helpful! I think their names were Josh and a heavier set man, maybe Charles. They let me borrow all the tools I needed to replace my battery and helped me out with knowing what connections needed to be removed in order to replace the battery. They seemed busy at the time but the employees still took time to help me out will definitely be returning. read more

This will be long! But I will also be writing corporate! I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your store. I came in to exchange a battery under my warranty, but I was unfortunately met with poor customer service from Matthew. His attitude was unhelpful and frustrating, to the point where I ended up having a heated exchange with him. Matthew's approach was far from professional--he questioned me about the whereabouts of my car, as if I had driven it in without a battery, trying to make the situation more complicated than it needed to be. All I needed was a simple battery exchange, as I've done on previous occasions. Instead of assisting me, Matthew was dismissive and unhelpful. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, Damoni stepped in and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Damoni's customer service skills were excellent, and he handled the situation with the professionalism I expected from your company. I want to commend him for his help, and I believe he deserves recognition for his excellent service. so sorry if I misspelled your name. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I believe Matthew's behavior does not align with the level of service your business should be providing. I can't not express how amazing the service was at this auto zone. Shout out to manager Chris and his associate. Me And my friend who is hearing impaired had a flat and were struggling to get anyone to help Us we didn't have towing and are from out of town so we drove on the run to auto zone and ran into the hardest time finding the lug key to fit the tire. Chris stuck with us for over and hour so patiently trying every angle we could to get the tire changed. Eventually we got the right tool and he even changed the tire for us because we are so inexperienced. He was so Kind and understanding and showed us what i think every business should look for in a store manager. I would go out of my way to do business at this store. Stop by this location the week of April 20,2025. Contacted a salesperson named Damani Jones. Told him my check engine light came on and I wanted to check what the code was for my car. He followed me to my car, and we could not find the location to attach the code reader to it. Damani checked Youtube.com and it showed him a video of a 1997 Honda Accord. The port for the portable coded reader was behind my ash tray. Damani plugged the reader into the port, downloaded the information to his portable device. We went back into the store and plugged the device into the store main computer, and he told me what the code meant. Damani work ethic was wonderful, and he was very customer friendly and a very nice young man. read more

I come to AutoZone all the time and this is the first time I was treated unfairly and and the gentleman Jonathon, who was helping me made sure to show me that he didn't care about me or my vehicle. He said he would definitely help me install the brake light and he would even Google it to make sure he does it right, and when I come back, he's acting weird and saying he's off work now and doesn't wanna help me anymore. Then the top it off the rest of the staff doesn't bother to help me either. Bought headlight bulbs. They were t out in 6-8 months. Fuses are fine. They said they can't do anything. But then again they said.

If you ask me anything about cars, the only thing that I really know how to do is drive them. Some would argue that I don't even do a good job of that (like my Mother)! Now don't get me wrong; I can put on a spare tire and replace a cabin air filter if necessary. Heck, I even learned how to install an engine splash guard this year (boy, what a task that was!). But, when I walk into an auto parts store... I'm like a deer in headlights. I never know where the hell I'm going or what I'm looking for... well, except when I'm looking for those wonderful smelling car fresheners! Aside from that, I need a lot of guidance when I'm looking for anything that has to do with the operation of my car. The staff at this Autozone has always been extremely helpful! I walk in there trying to look like I know what I'm doing, but they already know when I need help and they are always there to answer any questions that I have. I've gone in and grabbed the wrong item before and they've saved me tons of money and hassle! They are also super honest. They won't recommend based on prices and expensive brands, but rather by quality, popularity, and the correct fit. The associates here are extremely knowledgeable! I can't tell you how many times that I've walked into other competitor stores inquiring about a product, and the employee just simply doesn't know anything. Well, that's you and me both buddy! I also must point out how immaculately clean they keep this place! Every time I walk in there, it feels like I'm walking into a brand new store! Granted, the store is still fairly new. However, I have to admit that they have been consistent with the upkeep. The usually have just about anything that I need. If they don't have it available, they are quick to direct to a place that does (even if it's from one of their competitors!). They keep their inventory well stocked and I've never had to wait in a super long line. They are always staffed with multiple associates and the employee turnover has been pretty minimal. Highly recommend!! Needed to get front bulb replaced so I googled. I was surprised to learn that AutoZone could possibly help. I called a store near where I happened to be, but they weren't enthusiastic or confident they could do it. I called this store which is closer to home. The gentleman who answered was positive that they could take care of it. When I arrived mid-morning, it wasn't busy but there was an employee helping a woman at the counter. I didn't know what I needed. I only knew I needed help. An employee who had been stocking shelves came over and offered his assistance. I explained to him I had called and what my make & model were. He directed me to to the aisle and the type of bulb I needed. He suggested that I talk to the manager who had gone outside with the other customer. The manager finished up with his customer and approached me. I told him that I had called about installing the bulb. "The RSX?" Impressive, sincere, and extremely helpful! It's not an easy bulb to replace because of where it sits. You need tools to remove things and patience to get to sit right. I had none of these. Done with a smile. Have been a regular customer of this branch for the past 5.5 years. It used to be an amazing store; however, with the change of manager (currently is a shorter lady) it is just horrible. They treat customer horrible, specifically her. We had multiple awful incidents, one of which they replace my battery with a three years warranty to one that only had one and didn't want to take responsibility for it, at all. In addition, once we were accused that we used some sockets, which we never did, and the manager made a huge scene out of it. So check your stuff people, if it's batteries make sure you're getting one with the same warranty, and if it's tools, prior to your purchase look at them carefully cause if you want to return them, even without touching them, there is a good chance that you will be accused! read more

I needed a new battery and called prior to driving over to confirm they had the battery. I asked if they could install and the said if the battery is in the engine, we can. Upon my arrival, Edgar was sent out to see if he could change my battery. He reported he could. I purchased the battery and Edgar began to change it. He then changed his mind and said he could not replace it because he couldn't reach the bolts in the back. He suggested I go next door and ask if they can. My battery was now dead. It took him three different tries to jump my car on different batteries. If you are unsure if you can replace a battery, say that before someone purchases something from you. Totally unacceptable. The parking lot for this Auto Zone is a descent size. It does get packed since people have a car need all the time. But the traffic moves quickly. The store itself is huge. The aisles are organized, neat and well kept. The staff members are very nice and ask you if any assistance is needed. I appreciate not being hovered over and being asked after question. I get time to roam around and check out the merchandise. Auto Zone has a rewards card that is free for customers. Just supply them with the basic information and you are all signed up. I very much appreciate the air fresheners being conveniently located since that is what I came in for. It is always a pleasure shopping in a well lit and very clutter free store. read more

I mentioned that my car was parked outside and we could look at what I looking for, but the salesperson clearly was not interested in doing that. I left, went down the block to the other car parts store where I received impeccable service from start to finish, including finding the item I needed and helping to install them. Yet another auto parts shop on Monument, but at least it's a good one! This new Auto Zone location is much more spacious inside than it looks from the street, and very well stocked and organized. Though we popped in and made a beeline for jumper cables, it's hard to imagine what car accoutrement one could want that this shop doesn't offer. We briefly chatted with one employee, who answered our question comparing one brand of cables to another explaining the price difference to us - he was helpful and spoke in good layman's terms. He also rang up the purchase, and graciously thanked us for coming in. While I can't speak with authority on all items the shop offers, what I saw when I visited was so far, so very good!
