This Tesla charging station is located at the San Clemente Outlets, south of the 5 freeway, off of the Avenida Pico exit. All of the stalls are at the southside of the parking structure. They have a lot of charging stalls at this location, so the chances of needing to wait for a charge is pretty low. I only stopped for a quick 10 minute charge as the onboard navigation didn't think that it had enough charge to make it all the way home. The charging speed was good as the battery was pre-conditioned and nowhere near being fully charged when I arrived.

Driving back home for San Juan Capristrano The best Super charger came up here in San Clemente As I drove up to the Outlets the chargers are all the way in the side of the park lot. And many more new Tesla chargers coming soon to this Super Charger

Back of the lot, upper area and there are some chargers on the lower side as well.

Stopped here on the way to SD from LA. Lots of stalls and fast charging. Happened to come on a Saturday morning and there was a cars and coffee if you are interested some nice cars! Went thru the parking structure to avoid looping around the top side. Otherwise, nice spot for shopping and food. Headed back up here after a day in SD back to LA around 10 pm, plenty of stalls open.

Nice location at the end of the Clemente Outlets. No shade though....Boo! My pet peeve. You are also limited to 30 minute general charging per stall and there is about 50 stalls! Geez...Never seen so many Tesla's in one place! Pretty fast wattage charges thou even when almost full. Still would go to this supercharger location since it's fast charging and places to eat and do. The lower lot has 23 Superchargers all of them cranking. The upper lot all the chargers are turned off so I'm not sure the deal. Either way, lots of charging options and if the upper lot is open you're looking at well over 50 chargers. Ocean view lot, very awesome.

    Outside most chargers

One of the last super chargers before heading down or up the from from Carlsbad area. Easy to find and when I went all the stalls were working. Did this stop on the way down from Disneyland. Driveway for get in to the mall outlet are low car friendly. You can cut through the structure if the gates are open instead of looping around it like what the navigation wants you to do. Will be stopping by here again if I'm heading up to Irvine or Disneyland again.

21 charging stalls here adjacent to the Outlets at San Clemente.

Heading south this is the last spot to charge before Carlsbad 28 miles away. There are 21 charging spots here and we got 124kW and 422 mi/hr. There are numerous shops and places to eat in the adjacent Outlets at San Clemente. The little blue rocket was satisfied quickly and ready to blast on to San Diego. Yay!

This Supercharger is the best in South Orange County and also probably the best you will find in at least a 75-mi radius. With 21 charging stations, it can accommodate a lot of Teslas that are looking to power up. It also seems to be well equipped to handle a large load, unlike some stations which will cut your kilowatt flow when they are under high usage. The location is convenient and out of the way, in the very back of the San Clemente Outlets parking lot. You won't see much traffic driving around other than other Teslas, which can be kind of cool. At the right time of day, this location is pretty empty and you won't have much trouble finding a spot to charge. It does seem to be getting more popular later in the evening when people come to charge up for the next day. I haven't really been many other times of day so I can't comment then, but checking the map there is usually always a few people there. If you come when the Outlets are open, it's not a far walk from the chargers to all the different stores. So it's pretty easy to pass the time. There is also a nearby Starbucks, Ruby's, and a few other restaurants if you are looking for something to eat. Five stars on the Supercharger scale!

Wow the San Clemente location is a lot nicer than San Juan Capistrano. Although SJC is closer to me and perfect for a fill up but if I head about 5 miles father south I can come here to SC. Come on! Just 5 miles of driving on the freeway is easy mode on autopilot. Here I can have a nice view of San Clemente rather than homeless shopping carts. There's not much to say. Just go to the very back of the outlet. Look at your navigation map a keep telling your self first Left turn. Then keep left. If you are in unsure keep left some more. When you see a parking structure go behind/below it, keep going left. See the pictures on the Yelp page for a guide. I have never been to this Outlet mall but I was able to find it. I think going the back route is the best way because you might come here after hours like me. I will definitely come back if I need a quick charge heading to San Diego or if I go shopping here some day. This is fun. I'm going to continue my Saturday morning super charging drives to find the best OC Tesla Super chargers. It was never this fun to put gas in my last ICE cars, haha. Hmm Costco. Interested in purchasing a Tesla. You can use my referral code to get 1,000 free Supercharger miles on a new Tesla: https://ts.la/jason15916 Sidenote- I'm not trying to keep up with the Lee's or Kim's but wow there a lot of X's and S's at this location. I see how they roll in South County.

One of our favorite places to charge when going to and from San Diego. There are so many chargers and they added even more. It's located at the San Clemente outlets so while you're charging, you can walk around, shop or eat.

I don't usually shop at outlet malls so the only time I would head over to the Outlets at San Clemente is to charge my car. Since I trip charge at home when I do my long-distance road trips I don't visit this supercharger en route to my destination. However, I have been here a few times on my way back home, especially if I can't make it to my preferred supercharger at One Paseo in Del Mar. There are a total of 20 superchargers spaced out on opposite ends. All are of the V2 type (up to 150kW). From the main mall it's a little far as you have to pass the employee parking structure. If you have to access this after the mall closes (~10pm) other Yelpers have provided instructions on how to access the SC. As the SC is part of the mall there are a good amount of sit-down as well as fast-casual restaurants. However if all you want to do is to use the restroom, it's a bit of a walk. From the SC head towards either Nike or H&M and follow that side of the mall, passing by Ruby's Diner, Auntie Annies and the movie theater. The restrooms will be at the end of that section. Not only do the restrooms have plenty of stalls, they are *clean*! I would certainly prefer stopping by here over the Aliso Creek rest area further south if I had the choice.

Several stalls with chargers that are not operational. No signage to tell you and you wait in line for an open stall to find out several are not working. This station requires maintenance.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: All Rainbow, all the time…read more I stumbled upon this place while in the area meeting up with a friend. I was familiar with Rainbow sandals and their legendary durability, but I'd never owned a pair (they are investment flip flops and priced as such). It's a pretty large store, with aisles and aisles of sandals and even some closed-toe varieties. I had no idea that they offered so many different styles, including some non-leather options. After trying on a bunch of different styles, I got a pair of basic non-leather flip flops that felt nice and snug, with a cushy footbed. There was only one guy working behind the counter at the time, so it was pretty self serve, but the shoes were displayed in a well-organized manner so it wasn't hard to find things. I don't think the prices are significantly lower than if you get them at other retail outlets, but like I said, they are investment shoes. On that note, they did have a small section with refurbs/returns at a pretty steep discount. I believe you can also get repairs done here. If you're a fan of Rainbow sandals, this is the place.

With that, I recently saw the Devil wears Prada two and sheep detectives. Both times were very good experiences. I will say overall the experience is expensive for both tickets and concessions. We ordered our tickets online for both events. And we waited in line during Prada to get popcorn and beverages. The second time we went to see the sheep detectives and I ordered tickets online and also pre-ordered popcorn and beverages. Once your ticket is scanned it triggers a notification to. I'm assuming the concession stand to bring you the items. I think I scan my ticket around 7:15 PM for 730 show. I was one of three people in the movie theater. It took 15+ minutes just to get popcorn and a soda delivered to my seat not a dealbreaker, but I usually prefer to have those items even when the coming attraction start. I thought the theater was clean both times. The sound was good. I like that you can reserve the seats. During the sheep movie before it started, I did order a hotdog and again that took about 13 minutes to get. I get it. I'm not the only one ordering food. I just wish that part of the process would be a little more expedited. The popcorn tasted fresh. It's a bummer that it's Pepsi and also you can't do refills like at a regal theater with the freestyle Coke machines. Plenty of parking out front and then there's a parking garage right below the theater that brings you right up to it. Again, I'm not a huge movie or much anymore, but if there was something that caught my eye, probably would return here.

This time, my family took a trip to Dana Point over the 4th of July holiday weekend…read more I heard that one of my brothers had booked our hotel in advance, and this was the place we stayed. He reserved a suite, so it had a separate living room and a very spacious bedroom. The bathroom also featured a whirlpool bathtub. Lately, I've been completely hooked on the FIFA World Cup, so as soon as we arrived on Friday, July 3rd, I had a great time watching the Argentina vs. Cabo Verde match. The suite had two TVs--one in the living room and another in the bedroom--which made it very convenient and comfortable to watch the game. Breakfast was included with our stay, so we enjoyed breakfast every morning on the first floor during our two-night stay. The breakfast selection was quite good, including waffles, bagels, donuts, sliced bread, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, yogurt, and a variety of coffee options such as mocha, latte, espresso, regular coffee, and decaf coffee. While we were having breakfast, I noticed there wasn't any cream cheese for the bagels. I asked one of the staff members who was restocking the breakfast items, and both the male and female staff members were incredibly friendly and quickly brought some out for us. We really appreciated their excellent service, and my mom left them a tip afterward. Those were the highlights of our stay, but there were also a few things that could have been better. First, as soon as we checked into our room, there was a strange smell inside. Because of that, we kept the balcony door and the windows open most of the time to air the room out. Second, after checking in on July 3rd, we naturally expected our room to be cleaned the following day. Before leaving in the morning to enjoy the recreational activities around Dana Point, my mom even left a $10 tip in the room for housekeeping. However, when we returned that afternoon, the room hadn't been cleaned at all. My brother called the front desk, and they told us there was no housekeeping service on the 4th of July because it was a holiday. We've stayed at many hotels while traveling over holiday weekends, but this was the first time we'd ever been told that there was no housekeeping because it was Independence Day. Later that afternoon, before heading out again to ride the local trolley, I asked another front desk employee about the housekeeping service. Instead of saying there was no housekeeping because of the holiday, the employee asked for our room number and then asked whether we had requested housekeeping that morning. I explained that we hadn't requested it in the morning but had called about an hour earlier, and the room still hadn't been serviced. The employee told us they could at least replace our towels, so we thanked them. As a result, we ended up sleeping for two nights on the same bed without the sheets ever being changed. Another issue I noticed was that the bathroom exhaust fan vent was extremely dirty. Most guests probably wouldn't notice it unless they looked closely, but it stood out to me right away. I felt it was worth mentioning. Those were the two main disappointments during our stay. On the positive side, the hotel's location was absolutely fantastic. Dana Point Harbor Beach was only about a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to get to the beach. Directly across the street, there were plenty of restaurants and shops, including Starbucks, McDonald's, pizza places, Thai restaurants, and many other dining options. The location truly couldn't have been better. I later heard that my brother had considered booking a Marriott or another hotel, but he ultimately chose this one because it offered a spacious suite and was the closest hotel to the beach. Last year in May, we stayed at Murrieta Hot Springs. Although it was quite expensive at around $1,000 per night, the hotel was exceptionally clean, housekeeping was provided even during the holiday, and both the views and overall atmosphere were outstanding. This hotel's location was truly excellent, but I do wish the housekeeping and overall cleanliness had been better. That said, every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which definitely left us with a positive impression. cf) Parking is $25 per night at this hotel.
