After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

Our window faced the busy street but we didn't hear much noise from the 3rd floor. I slept very comfortably on the bed and found both the couch and the desk chair to be comfortable as well. Breakfast was a really treat. I appreciated the egg item of the day which was a bacon egg and cheese sandwich that was really quite cook with freshly made egg to order eggs. The breakfast space also had easy grab and go items like granola bars and fruit cocktail. We were at the airport in no time. My only grumble may have been that the walk between the parking and the hotel wasn't covered. We had a cold rain falling and I wish the short walk had a roof of some sort. Not a need, just a want. I'd definitely stay here again. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance that I'd want to try.

Fortunately for us another company who had made an appointment to give me a quote to update (or replace) my electrical panel never showed. Another competitor gave me a texted quote by looking at 2 photos of my electric panel (shame, shame). New Phase Electric to the rescue. I called New Phase Electric and Ben SHOWED UP to: 1. give us a quote on upgrading our electrical panel, 2. consulted with us us on replacing our old recessed lights (28 lights), and 3. installation of a new ceiling fan in our living room. The lights we selected were the perfect color and brightness we were looking for and our dimmers give us selective control on the brightness and color. Our new fan added a modern flair to our living room. It is equipped with a remote control for off/on, easy adjustments to variable speeds, or reversing the blades for summer or winter usages. Great work Ben. After Ben completed the contracted work and left we discovered a glitch that made it impossible to run our AC. My wife sent a text message to Ben. Expecting to hear," I will come by tomorrow" or something similar, Ben replied with, 'I will be there in about 20 min. This was around 7:30 PM. Ben showed up as promised, resolved the problem in minutes and we were totally blown away with the level of service. New Phases Electric, LLC is highly professional, friendly, great work, provides in-house estimates/consultations, provides options of products, no upselling, extremely fare rates. My past three stays have been in the Tuscany Tower, and I highly recommend it. Rooms and bathrooms are larger, the showers are amazing. I believe the rooms were recently renovated.
