This started with me looking at the Cadillac Optiq and thinking it was decent but pretty expensive... I happened to be looking for a graphics card at Best Buy down the street from Caddy and decided to go take a look at the refreshed model Y. That's when I met Renato, He was friendly and easy going, super knowledgeable and answered every question. He set me up with a solo test drive and from there I was hooked. I walked away from the Model Y much more impressed versus the Caddy. Fast forward a week or so... I came back with the wifey and we ended up buying two cars. Very nice lay out of the showroom they only had a couple cars to look at. Plenty of staff with visible badges but unfortunately they were not to engaging with potential customers. I tried to speak with one but he kept the conversation real short like he was disinterested which was a bummer because how can I get interested in your product if you are unwilling to discuss it? As a gear head I think it would have been really cool if they displayed some batteries and the electrical motors under glass. Also I'm a touchy-feely kind of guy I don't like to look at a picture of something I'm buying I want to sit in it drive it etc. etc. so I think the bottom line is if you know what you want then this is the place for you if not then you might get the feeling of feeling unwelcome. read more

Hey y'all it may be helpful to not reroute ever.single.call. coming into your showroom to Tesla customer service. Maybe then you'd have some sales! Apart from never being able to get anyone on the phone, maybe crappy sales come from the horrid customer service coming from your people at the front? If your showroom closes 8:55pm, put the hours at 8:55pm instead of not letting me in at 8:55pm when you close at 9. My relatives visiting from Vegas just wanted to check out the Cybertruck and there were many people inside that you let out still. Cut off should be 9pm if you close 9pm. If I'm wrong at least put a sign somewhere. Terrible customer service, forgot who it was but it was an Asian dude. Never coming back. Hope the stock goes to under $100/share. read more

I ordered a Tesla 2026 Y Premium and was approved for .99% financing for a 3 year period with payments of about $650. I visited the Fremont delivery center prior to my car's arrival and test drove a Performance Y and purchased it. The additional cost was about $3500. I paid the difference all by using my phone, leaving the total loan amount exactly the same. Three days later I received the paperwork from Chase at a monthly payment of about $750. It was at a 5.99% interest rate. I called Chase they referred me to Tesla and then contacted Tesla who referred me back to Chase. All the documentation that was in the App showing the approval and estimated payments were no longer there. Guess it's a clear case of bait and switch when it comes to financing with Tesla. Do enjoy the car and the various dealer support people were great except for the lack of support in getting the rate corrected. read more

One star for Tesla as a company completely failing to have empathy for their customers and being dishonest. Even ignoring the current Elon behavior, Tesla cannot be recommended due to their quality control being bad and service nonexistent. The showroom has a great location, the staff is not very helpful. There were a quite a few families in this store looking at the cars. Customer service, what customer service? Staff were standing around talking to each other, joking with each other. On their phones... maybe I'm new at this, but sales people are sales people anymore and didn't share any information regarding these electric cars. Or Tesla employees just don't do that... Parents allowing their kids to run around and play pretend in these cars. So we didn't get a good feel or get to explore the cars. read more

This is the showroom for Tesla in Santa Clara. They had the new monster truck thing in display. Service has its ups and downs. They are friendly, but at the end of the day are still car salesmen. So expect some of those shenanigans. Still, it's the product that you want at the end of the day. Worst insurance ever! Tesla driver hit me on 680 when I was at a full stop. Tesla insurance refused to respond to me for over a week. Finally sent me to Golden Coast Collision. Owner there wont even show up for tesla made claims. Staff at this location, top notch! We went in to check out the Y model. They weren't busy and offered for us to test drive this model. We decided to do so after our lunch reservations. After a quick registration, we were escorted to the parking garage and got a quick tutorial on how to operate the car. A lot to learn however, we managed to figure things out as we drove around. Aweful test drive experience. They rush you through everything. Give you a pin to start the car, but don't tell you not to stop for more than five minutes anywhere to check out the car as the car will be locked. I did not remember the pin. Have been on the phone for almost an hour trying to get in contact with the store. When we get in contact with customer service they can't even get in contact with the store. Surprised the store has not even called us yet. I may have to pay for an Uber on this test drive just to get back to the store to get the pin. Absolutely crap. This gives you an idea of what the service is like when you buy a car. read more

Since last year I had my eyes on a TESLA. I waited a while since the car market had insane prices , gas was high etc. Getting a EV was tough with all the competition. After some time I waited till Feb 2023 . I walked in and met a gentlemen by the name of Dre. This young man walked me through the steps and immediately requested i test drive both the model 3 and Y. I loved both models but the Y caught my eye. I waited a little longer and was checking out used Teslas at 3rd party lots due to pricing . Few months past and around April Dre followed up again with a call. He had new updates on pricing , upgrades and much more. I was going through something personal so I requested to meet around May. Before I walked in Dre sent me more information through via email & asked if I had any additional questions. When I asked he immediately answered everything and even showed me examples. I enjoyed Dre's energy and customer service. So I went ahead and bought the Model Y. My delivery date was set for end of June .... Thus the date came 48 hours before I was told to wait till July / August. Which I did not have the time too. Dre on his day off helped me find a Model Y same configuration and I upgraded to a long range thanks to him. I went and picked it up at Tesla Stockton. If your looking for a Tesla and have any questions I suggest going inside a store and speak to someone like Dre. Ask for a follow up email and do your own research. I've had this car just over a month and I love everything about it. Tesla is the future. read more

Tesla wanted me to accept a DAMAGED car...go figure. Because I do not have a need for a dual motor, the standard range vehicle is no longer available. Can you believe this? I ordered a new car, its delivered damaged, now they can't provide me with the car I ordered. They have extracted the full cost of car from y bank account and can't tell me when I will get it returned. I guess I will be picking up my new Mercedes this week. Tesla can learn a lot from other car dealers on how to treat a cash paying customer. Oh, by the way, this Model Y would have been our 4th Tesla. read more

From research, I was 99% sure I was going to buy a new Tesla Y, but I just had a few questions and needed a test drive to bridge the final frontier, that last 1%. Made a test drive appointment online and was handled by Christian. Made sure I had the exact same type of car I was going to get (long range Y four seat). Provided helpful instructions (did as well as he could with Covid and all...). Loved the test drive, came back and was quoted some monthly payments based on my down which was overly helpful. They kept mentioning that it'd typically take 4-6 weeks to get my new car once purchased online. I put the $100 down on a Friday, and was DRIVING MY NEW CAR delivered to my house the following Tuesday. Yes, three business days later. Crazy for Tesla. I was an early Model 3 adopter; took delivery of our Model 3 Mid Range (white, alloys, EAP) inDec 2018. It was mainly a gifrt for my high tech wife. I have since come to appreciate what a great car it is; we love the Model 3. Fast forward to a short time ago; we visited Santana Row and met a wonderful, helpful young salesman, Kelly. He set us out on a Highland test drive; the Model 3 has grown up. We asked he keep us appraised of the M3P release... Mmmm yeah...My experience was not the best with this Tesla dealership. So as a disclaimer, my experience with the Tesla dealership in buena park wasn't the best either so I think that's saying something more about the management at Tesla more than anything. I went after I had already put in a deposit with another dealership. I needed help with changing the registrant and delivery address. My boyfriend and I went inside and saw a lady at the front at a table who obviously worked there, who didn't say anything to us. So my boyfriend after we had stood their for quite some time asks her If she worked there and she responds "how can I help you" with the biggest attitude since we had asked her the worst question in the world. I asked her about the request and she said that she would ask another guy Chris to help us. Chris was helpful and scheduled an appt for someone to contact us about my request. Btw no one called me to schedule an appt lol. Anyway, I think this experience is going to be similar whichever Tesla you go to so just understand we're not paying for the Service at a Tesla dealership but for the car which btw took almost 12 months for me to get! Made an appointment via the website, instructions received from an email asked that I arrive 15 minutes early and be ready to present my drivers license and to sign waivers. I leave work early and rush over to get there 15 minutes prior to my appointment. Two advisors working, neither of which make eye contact for over 20 minutes, one actually disappeared in the back and never came back out. I called and spoke to Chelsea, who help me arrange the appointment online but was not on site, and let her know that I was being actively ignored at the show room. After she called the show room, Ida (?) came out from the back and had probably the worst attitude of any human being I have ever interacted with. I was almost speechless. She was rushed, short with her answers and acted as though my being there was the worst possible thing to have happened to her. Sadly, I loved the car- I drove it without an advisor, just a YouTube video with instructions. I signed no waivers and showed no one my drivers license at any point. I was very much expecting to leave the store wanting to run home to get online to order the Model Y, but this experience left a horrible taste in my mouth. If this is a sign of what's to come as far as customer service, I don't know that I wanna drop $65k to be treated like garbage. read more

Schedule a test drive for both the model S and the model 3. The employee who took me out for the test drive acted like the test drive was the biggest inconvenience of his life. For both the S and the 3, the test drives lasted between 5-10 minutes. That's a ridiculously short drive to make a decision about which car is right for you. I asked a lot of questions about the features of each model and he gave me either a short response or "I don't know." It's not that hard to say, "I can find out for you" or "I'll get back to you on that" - he just couldn't be bothered to care at all. I was also shocked by the lack of quality of the interior of both the 3 and the S. I would rate the interiors about 3/10 and the drive a 7/10. Even though it was a short drive, it was enough to realize this wasn't the right care for me. read more
