    Paint chip

We bought a factory blemish Tesla in 2023 and received a $1000 credit. After a year and a half of driving it the paint chipped off and left a large 3" by 3" piece of rusted panel exposed. This should've been covered under their workmanship warranty but they refuse to accept any fault. I have tried to resolve this countless times. They keep cowardly deleting chat messages and ghosting me. One service manager accuse me of lying and said it's been in an accident even though it has a clean carfax and has no damage history whatsoever. A completely baseless comment based on no facts whatsoever... If you can't tell by my review and other just like it Tesla has terrible terrible terrible customer service. If you want to be called a liar and ghosted by "managers" by all means Tesla is the company for you. If you want to be treated with respect and valued consider a different brand.

My contract was up in January 2026 so I was in contact with them about pick up. I was advised the vehicle was pulled out and ready to drive home so I arrived the next day to drive it home. The vehicle had not been moved and was not running, due to battery and fuel line issue, so I told them I would come back the following week to pick up. My contract expired 2 days after I initially tried to pick up my vehicle. 6 days after my contract expired and while I was out of the country they sold my vehicle. I advised them that my contract expired and since they had no deposit secured prior to my contract expiring that the 15 day extension did not apply. I showed up to retrieve my vehicle a second time and they refused to release it to me and sold my vehicle after the contract expired and after 4 months of communication stating I was not renewing after it expired. Shady business practices and shady salesmen. Scott and Tim did not care about the illegal sale and were just concerned about their sale. I advise to go elsewhere.

I give the car a 5 star. But, Gateway Phoenix chapter a 1 star. Here's my experience;…read more I purchased a 2007 Ford GT500 w/ under 31 k miles and it is noticeable that the GT500 was taken care of. Now of course, like any other buyer, I am going to have questions, because I don't have the luxury to drive a couple of minutes to Gateway (I reside in Southern CA), i.e previous owners?, why is the car being sold?, any mods? (and yes it does), service and upgrade receipts from owner? (if any), check engine light on? , etc. I gave this consignment a chance considering reading the negative reviews in regards to very poor communication, no follow through (and, of course follow through is only present here at Gateway, to "smoothly deliver" your car purchase and get their $) is when there is only communication. I can now see why the reviews explains that. We are ALL adults and ALL of us visiting or being a client of Gateway are professionals. Ethics, Communication, INTEGRITY, shall be present along with other excellent characteristics. The Gate Phoenix chapter unfortunately doesn't acquire such characteristics. Now, mentioning the questions above, yes there were SOME that were answered but, half assed, meaning bullshit answers. 2 love ones accompanied me in visiting Gateway to check out the GT500, and witnessed what transpired about this check engine light being on. A conversation took place the day off my arrival. Indeed the car's check engine light was on and as I was attended by salesman Al, he commented "The check engine light is on, because a lack of turning on the cars. It's the battery that made the light go on. It happens here all the time with cars being here. We'll take care of it for you don't worry!" Both my loved ones witness that conversation including, surveillance video(s), if there is audio, at the warehouse in case corporate wants to review it. That's my testimony. Bill the rep, I was working with, also mentioned the same thing. "Raul, we'll take care of that for you, we are starting the car once in a while to work on the reset." I have texts threads to show this. I had also asked for service receipts before agreeing to purchase the GT500. I too have texts threads for that. My point is, I was lied to. The Check engine light was still on after I received it from transport, 11-15-2023, and still no service receipts after Bill acknowledging he got in contact with the owner of the car. I made numerous attempts in asking for the check engine light issue to be resolved, as I was told it was going to be resolved, and attaining receipts to no avail. Including, leaving a voice message to there direct line. Bill, however in a conversation approximately 11-09-2023, mentioned we never discussed any receipts. I also have the text threads sir of that conversation as well. My integrity is not be questioned. Now, the issue of the check engine light, I myself, scanned (note I'm mechanically inclined) that wasn't taken care of and It WAS NOT a battery or service issue. P0190 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit displayed on the scanner. Not a big deal I'll address this issue. My point is INTEGRITY. I can see how the Reps at Gateway Phoenix Chapter will do to "gain your trust" and stabb you in the back once they sell you their clients car" or get their way, wash their hands and call it a day. How unpleasing. Before you, Gateway Corporate, respond that I having an option for a "3rd party mechanic of my choosing" let me say this, if that's the case, DON'T have your staff speak and act as if they are certified mechanics and lie to their clients; and if they are or were certified mechanics, don't have an integrity issue. I gave you my trust and the benefit of the doubt to give this business a chance. Also, note no message nor response after purchase from Bill. Word of mouth and reviews for the public to see is how one will loose credibility. Be veridical, and pellucid. Or does Gateway just confabulate and maunder demonstrating they are a prestigious business, clothed in sheep's clothing, but are actually Villainous, Nefarious and clothed in wolf's clothing? My 1st consignment purchase was unsatisfactory and disappointing. I don't regret purchasing the GT500 I regret purchasing it from Gateway. Gateway, you give other consignment dealerships a bad reputation and I will never purchase at Gateway or conduct business in any other consignment facilities. Way to take care of your Public Safety brothers and sisters in uniform. Thank you for allowing to express my experience.

He understood my frustrations with Honda Corporate, took the time to answer my questions, and never made me feel like I was being brushed off, he took the time to respond to me, even on his day off! Chris, the Service Manager, was great. He listened, advocated for me, and genuinely tried to help, even when the decisions were out of his hands. I can't express my gratitude to Divac for his patients with me and continued effort to advocate for me up the chain of command. Thank you to Ricky, the service technician, for taking pride in your work, taking the time to come and speak with me on your own accord to really understand the whole issue and discuss the mechanic with me. That's a reflection of the people working there, and I really appreciate everything they did for me. I will continue to use Arrowhead Honda Service Department as long as these three are there.

My experience with Peoria Subaru can be summed up as good - not great. Here's what transpired:…read more Built my vehicle @ Subaru's website on 05/09. It was sent to Peoria Subaru. Wasn't contacted by a sales rep. 'til 2 days later. On 05/12 went to the dealership per request of the sales rep., Alan Nestor. Forester Wilderness was being built @ Subaru Factory & allocated to the dealership. Brought my truck to trade-in. Alan assessed my trade & got close to what Carvana was giving me so I was pleased with that. Couldn't get the vehicle exactly the way I built it @ Subaru's website. Vehicle was being built & if I wanted one relatively soon - I was forced to take it as-is. Dealership would not remove any options despite me not needing a $52 OEM Subaru cargo net which is as useless as an ejection seat in a helicopter. Forked over a $1,000 non-refundable depot to Alan. DISCREPANCIES: 1.) Asked Alan for a VIN number. Alan stated car had not even begun to be built yet. Got an e-mail from Subaru of America on 05/13. Called SOA on 05/16 & spoke to Kaila. asked if they had VIN number. She said not only could she give me my VIN number, my vehicle was almost finished being built. 2.) My wife has a '17 Subaru Outback. Asked Alan if there was a discount avail. since I was purchasing my second Subaru. He advised loyalty discount was not in place anymore & Subaru had no intention of reinstating it because "this is just the state of the world we live in now, Scott". During my conversation with Kaila @ SOA on 05/16, I let her know what Alan said. She laughed out loud & apologized about 32 times on his behalf and "is not sure why SOA and these dealerships are not on the same page". Moments later, I had a $500.00 off loyalty coupon sent to my e-mail. 3,) When Alan stated my vehicle had not even begun being built yet, he advised the factory in Japan has been completely "shut down". Joined a Forester Facebook group. One of the admins is the plant mgr. at the Subaru factory in Lafayette, IN. She also apologized on Alan's behalf and assured me the Japan factory is not "shut down". They were simply taking off an extra 2 days during the months of May & June. Hardly what I would call "shut down" 4.) Asked Alan about the Subaru Ambassador discount. Alan advised he had no idea what the Ambassador discount was. I brought in the loyalty coupon instead to prove the loyalty discount is still in tact. :) lolol. 5.) Leaving dealership on the evening of 05/12, Alan assured me he would keep me updated every single step of the way. That never happened. In fact, realistically, Alan did not even need to sell me the car. I walked in & knew exactly what I wanted. He never kept me posted. I did all of the legwork myself. I called SOA constantly for updates. He had no idea my vehicle even arrived on 06/03 until I let him know. Maybe Alan was having a few off-days. I have no idea. He never apologized which was upsetting to me. I gave him (and the dealership) the benefit of the doubt when I picked up my new Forester Wilderness on 06-04. He did review the vehicle with me and the finance mgr., George, was incredibly pleasant to deal with. Other than my interaction with George, I don't know if I have super great things to say about Peoria Subaru except that once my vehicle DID arrive - everything went smoothly, quickly and efficiently. But getting to that point and my initial conversations and interaction with Alan left me unimpressed. I believe he could benefit from a few Customer Service 101 training sessions. He seemed to over promise and under deliver basically everything that came out of his mouth on 05/12. The only thing he did adhere to (and maybe most important) are the final numbers in which we agreed upon. I was pleased with that. I'm giving them 4 stars... but realistically, it's a 3.5 in my book. They're 3 miles away from our house which is convenient and the vehicle order was correct, but the interactions from sales was disheartening at best. If the dealership feels anything I've written is inaccurate, I'd be happy to discuss with the general manager.

These problems started almost immediately after I left the dealership, and despite countless conversations with service managers and staff, I still do not have a real resolution. I have been told these are "maintenance issues," yet I have maintained the vehicle, including oil changes and replacing the battery. That does not explain the electrical failures, the ongoing 4x4 problems, the broken radio screen, or why the vehicle continues having trouble starting. Today, May 17, 2026, the vehicle is once again dead, even though the battery was replaced less than seven months ago. What is most concerning is the lack of transparency and accountability. The dealership has kept my vehicle on several occasions, and I specifically asked Ty in December 2025 for a detailed, itemized list of all repairs and work performed on my vehicle. His response was simply "sure." It is now May 2026, and I still have not received anything. I was also told the dealership has already spent over $10,000 attempting repairs on this vehicle, yet I continue getting it back with unresolved problems and being told it still needs additional work. At this point, I cannot trust this vehicle beyond driving to work. I cannot comfortably take road trips or rely on it without constantly worrying it will break down. A good dealership should stand behind the vehicles they sell and communicate honestly with their customers. Instead, after a year and a half of repeated complaints, unanswered requests, and ongoing issues, I feel like I am being brushed aside rather than helped. I am simply asking for responsibility, transparency, and a proper resolution for a vehicle that has had persistent issues since the day it was sold to me.
