I am a bit mixed on Peoria Ford service. We took our truck there for service after moving to the area. The last Ford dealership service department used to use the words "recommended service." Peoria Ford uses the words "failed inspection." Do not use the words "failed inspection" with me if it is something that is recommended and the vehicle will still be safe to drive if I cannot get the ridiculously overpriced service performed at that time. One item they failed was the cabin air filter. They wanted $80 to replace it. I ordered one from Amazon. It took 10 minutes to replace. They also wanted $50 to put $5 felt pads on the battery posts even though it was another Ford Dealership that didn't put them back in the first place. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with Peoria Ford. Buyers should be extremely cautious (please don't ignore reviews they're the worst for a reason) when dealing with this dealership. The bait-and-switch tactics mentioned in other reviews turned out to be absolutely true, and I regret not taking those warnings more seriously. Had I agreed to pay the higher amount they originally wanted for the vehicle, they likely would have sold it to me without issue. I even offered to wire the money directly into their account and personally travel to pick up the vehicle, which should have eliminated most of the risk on their end. The manager claimed they had issues in the past with bad checks, but I was never offering a check -- only a direct wire transfer. When I asked why my situation was different, especially since they said they occasionally make exceptions, it became clear they simply wanted to make more money on the deal and used the out-of-state policy as an excuse to back out at the negotiated price. The entire experience was frustrating, misleading, and completely ridiculous. I would strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to think twice and avoid the hassle altogether. I dealt with multiple salespeople, the internet manager, customer relations Beverly, and the main manager. Everyone was polite individually, and Beverly in customer relations was very nice on the phone. She passed me through to the right avenues and then spoke to the main manager of the whole place, but the dealership's overall business practices were completely disorganized, misleading, and incredibly frustrating. I originally negotiated a number, walked away from the deal, and then was repeatedly contacted and pulled back in by multiple salespeople afterward. After more discussions, more time invested, arranging logistics, and preparing to move forward, I was suddenly told by management that they "don't do out-of-state deals." Then the explanation changed again to basically: they do out-of-state deals when it financially benefits THEM, but not when they don't like the negotiated price. That should have been disclosed immediately from the beginning -- not after days of conversations and wasted time. To make matters worse, they specifically told me to have a friend physically go into the dealership to inspect the vehicle for me, which I paid for and arranged. So not only did they waste my time, they wasted my money and my friend's time as well. As someone with two small children, I spent time coordinating inspections, logistics, payment arrangements, and seriously preparing to buy this vehicle, only to get completely contradictory explanations at the end. If you don't sell vehicles out of state, say it upfront. Don't repeatedly re-engage a buyer, encourage them to continue forward, send them through multiple departments, have them inspect the vehicle, and then refuse to sell the car afterward. One of the most frustrating and unprofessional car-buying experiences I've had and I have bought a ton of Ford vehicles. I purchased a new 2025 Bronco from Peoria Ford on April 1, 2026. My concerns are with the financing process and handling after the sale. I came in with pre-approved financing through my own credit union, yet later received communication from another credit union regarding a loan, creating confusion about where my financial information had been submitted. When I asked for clarification and documentation, the finance department was not transparent and would not provide clear answers. I also discovered an advertised vehicle feature (window tint) was not actually on the vehicle and was uncomfortable being told a 5-star review was needed before reimbursement would be processed. Most concerning, I paid for GAP coverage through the dealership as part of my finalized paperwork, only to later receive notice that it was denied ("cannot pay cash for GAP"). I had to purchase replacement GAP through my credit union, and repeated requests for response and reimbursement have gone unanswered. Let me save you the headache--do NOT waste your time with this dealership. The level of dishonesty here is actually impressive... and not in a good way. I came in to trade my BMW X5 (newer model)after receiving a confirmed online cash offer--one that was pretty close to what I paid to pay my car off. I was completely upfront about the only issue--rear brakes which the message just appeared a day before and still had time to get them done. I even told them I could fix it easily and cheaply, but they specifically told me NOT to because it "wouldn't affect the offer." I double-checked to avoid any games, and they reassured me multiple times everything was solid. Fast forward--I'm literally 5 minutes away and they call again saying the rep I spoke with is ready and waiting. Sounds professional, right? Wrong. I show up... and suddenly that person named "Sareena" is "gone," and I'm handed off to someone else who clearly had a completely different agenda. Then the real show starts: they hit me with a lowball offer nowhere near the original, and--surprise--now the brakes magically matter and is the main reason for the lowball offer. Meanwhile the person appraising my vehicle doesn't even know anything about BMWs or even how to turn it on. But here's the part that really says it all--they suddenly tell me they can "give me more" for my BMW... only if I buy one of their cars. So the original strong offer? Apparently only exists if you're willing to overpay for one of their questionable inventory options. Otherwise, they slash it. That tells you everything you need to know. So let's be clear: they'll tell you exactly what you want to hear to get you in the door, then switch it up once you're there. Classic bait-and-switch. Meanwhile, my vehicle is in excellent condition--clean, new tires, new battery, and over $1,500 in recent maintenance. None of that mattered. I had a scheduled appointment at Peoria Ford at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday for a recall repair on my truck. I arrived early, checked in, and was told the repair would take approximately one day. I received no communication that day. The following day, I received a text with contact information and a number to call or text for updates. I sent two texts with no response and called six times, with no one answering. I eventually went to the dealership to pick up my truck, only to be told that it had not yet been evaluated or seen by anyone. My concern is not simply the delay. I had a scheduled appointment and expected the vehicle to at least be inspected and for someone to communicate its status. I asked if I could temporarily leave the truck at the dealership because I had another vehicle there. I was told it could remain in the driveway, but I needed to return quickly or it could be towed. I must be nuts to keep coming back to this dealership. I guess it is morbid curiosity of the thought that this is actually a leading automaker's official sales lot. I can't believe how grimy I feel after getting any work done on my vehicle. Word to the wise: read everything you sign and beware of them having you sign anything and then expect them to hold up their end of the bargain. My most recent trip was a headache. I specifically told the "advisor" multiple times that I only wanted an oil change and tire rotation. They charged me double and said it was because I got the 5000 mile check which I already had done. The advisor told me the 5000 mile service was 140 bucks which I said I was only getting the oil change and tire rotation so how much was it. She completely ignored this and went on about getting a 15k mile check which again I said I didn't want. They kept my truck for about 4 hours and then the tech didn't even realize the cabin filter had activated carbon and wasn't dirty. I had to call them to check on things which they said they'd call when it was done. The lady again insisted I agreed to pay and completely glossed over me saying multiple times, including comments in the service portal about not wanting "the WORKS" they still charged me for the works. I settled on the lesser amount even though the website said the 5000 mile check started at $79.95. I'm done getting ripped off here. Don't get your car serviced at Peoria Ford, they will over charge you and may even do work that doesn't need to be done. I had my car towed to Peoria Ford because of a "High engine temperature Stop safely" message on 8/16/26. After dropping off my car I headed out to get a rental car. Seven days later, 8/23/26, I finally received a diagnostic report from Peoria Ford they wanted me to pay $3,325.88 to replace the thermostat and water pump, they couldn't even tell me that it would fix the problem, they would need to retest after the work was done. I immediately had my car towed on 8/24/26 from Peoria Ford to Greenway Family Auto on the corner of Greenway and 99th Ave. They started diagnosing the problem that day and the car was all fixed and ready to go at 3:30pm, 8/25/26. Here is the kicker, it wasn't the thermostat and water pump, it was a bad radiator cap and a cracked radiator reservoir tank, they replaced both and charged me $374.86. Had I stayed with Peoria Ford I would've paid $3,325.88 and my car would've still had the original problem! Don't ever use Peoria Ford Service! read more

Test drove three cars this weekend, finally found one that we liked at Peoria Ford. The offer was good. But there was one contingency to fix a small part on the car that was broken. They came back and agreed to fix that part and reduced the price even more. We need a time to gather a check and make sure my son was truly interested. I said I'd call within the hour. We called back and agreed to terms. Sent in the necessary documents to get the paperwork ready and my son went to verify everything before I showed up with a check . in that time, the sales manager and sales person reneged on their offer to fix the part and change the price back up. After 48 hours with no update, we were told they were "backed up," despite this being a returned repair. It took a conversation with the Service Director to get the car moved up in the queue. They eventually found codes, but only after I told them I had scanned the codes myself, and I'm not a technician. A foreman reportedly looked at it. The actual work amounted to clearing the codes and cleaning the charging port. Pickup took far longer than it should have. Mike, the service manager, said he would email the service report once the foreman finished writing it up. Almost two weeks later, there is still no write-up, and the car is having starting problems again. The parts counter is a separate issue. Asking for help there gets you an attitude rather than assistance. Service Director Claude and Service Manager Mike both dropped the ball on basic follow-through. If you need diagnostic work done right, or documentation you can rely on, look elsewhere. read more

First of all the sales process was great. This is about service. I spent the additional money out to pre-pay for all the maintenance except for tires and fuel and I go in for my 15,000 mile service and they charge me $457. Several times during the service I've told the service advisor that they told me that all my servicing was paid for, and all he kept telling me Me was that's what the salesman always tell people and it's not true. So I got with one of the finance guys, very helpful by the way, and he verified that I did have the elite, the top of the line maintenance program for this truck. He has spent a lot of time trying to get answers for me, and obviously he is unable to do that so my next course of action is a review. Horrible dealership from sales to service. Tried to pull a fast one over on me not giving me the gap coverage I asked for In sales only gave me my money back if I agreed to change my bad review. My better half and I recently purchased a used vehicle from Peoria Ford and bought a warranty because of the mileage on the car. The sales person was fine, but the finance guy was terrible. He just didn't know when to shut up and of course because he spent so much time talking, he screwed up a lot of things. First, we never got registration tags for the vehicle. When we followed up we were told "oops, he forgot to send the info in to MDV." Then when we had an issue with the car, we called the service department only to be given to an AI to schedule. No human contact available. We made the appointment, showed up and they told us they have no appointment. When we showed them the email confirmation, the service guy said "oh, well sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't." Really???? WORSE when we told them we had an extended warranty, they went into their system and had NO EVIDENCE of ever even purchasing the vehicle. Once again, we showed them the proof of purchase and the warranty, only to be brushed off stating "Oh, this is something that is not covered." Really? Well blabber mouth in financing told us EVERYTHING was covered. No apology, no offer to make it right. Just "move along, we have real issues to deal with." Just avoid them. Sales guy Edgar was great and a pleasure to work with. The finance team is a joke. I signed for a used car, had to wait 2 days for them to do inspection before I could actually take it home. Then my trade in was not paid off so I reached out 2 weeks after taking the car and the finance guy would not reach out or get back to me to answer the questions about the pay off. The credit union my trade in was financed through was going to put a late fee and loan insurance since I took the trade in off my insurance to insure the new car. Well after almost a month of having the new car I get a call the original signed funding fell through and I needed to re sign paper work, I go in and they conveniently had the new financing terms through ford instead of a credit union with a higher apr and higher payment by almost $200. The original deal was already at the top of my budget so I turned it down and had to return the new car and take back my trade in. Now I'm stuck with a late payment, changing my insurance back over, and paying off the loan insurance the credit union put on my trade in. An hour later, he texted me Hey Lakota, the truck just sold but would be glad to sell you another... I went in to have a noise in my dash assessed; which they said had been fixed previously. Get inside and find out nothing will be covered because it is now out of warranty by days. I told Sandy, that I have been trying to get this fixed and it had previously been in to get fixed but it wasn't fixed. She said because they put on the paperwork that my care was making a "roaring" sound and that it said nothing about the dash it was something different. I should have known better! Someone had totaled my vehicle and we rushed to replace it on a sale weekend without consulting Yelp. I contacted several dealerships via the internet to get an online price. I asked for an email, but got a 6a call instead. The salesman worked hard for my business and provided me with all of the details that I asked for. The salesman talked us into coming in to look at the vehicle. So we did. Upon arrival, the salesman was attentive and showed up all of the vehicles that we asked about. We started talking price and it was the same cat and mouse visits to the managers office that I had experienced many times before. There was several thousand off on this holiday weekend, plus there was some flexibility on the dealer installed options. To me, that's a racket. The only installed option that I saw was locking lug nuts. I was told they were under contract to apply paint sealer. I would not have paid for it and did not want it, but they say it was already sealed. In addition, these sealers are temporary and must be reapplied. But, these tricks are the norm for many dealers. We did reach an agreement and shook on the sale. The trouble came after the sale. I wanted an optional part and the salesman said that he would add it to the agreed upon cost of the vehicle. We finished the paperwork and headed out. Three weeks later, I called parts to see if my ordered part had come in. The salesperson told me that nothing had been ordered under my name. I sent a message to the salesman. No reply. I messaged him again, no reply. I messaged the finance manager, no reply. I finally lost my temper and messaged another manager, who wanted me to call her. About an hour later, parts called and my part had supposedly miraculously arrived. I waited to see if I would get a reminder call from parts, but never heard back. I feel like this was a trick to get me back in. Bottom line. The only care about the money. After the sale, there is no communication, no help, no give a hoot about you. I spent $90,000.00 on a new vehicle and they stiffed me for $175.00. In exchange for stiffing me, they have lost my recommendation, any return business, any maintenance work and a positive yelp review. Seems so petty... My advice. Original Review posted after sending certified letters seeking private remediation: if you're driving a Ford with an open recall on it, take it to any other dealership besides Peoria Ford. I didn't mind how long it took for them to get to my vehicle (30+ days), but I was contacted by Derrick Parra in the service department and he told me since I had been driving the rental for a month, it was time to drop it off im exchange for another rental. I assumed that was protocol but now I honestly don't know. However, I learned a lesson: Always record videos of rentals before leaving, because Derrick Parra intentionally gave me a damaged car to use me as the scapegoat, and I didn't notice it as it was extremely minor. He called a couple days later to say my car was ready. The moment he walked out to me and the rental, he beelined to the passenger side on the car, which was out of sight entirely, bends over and says "Ohhh you scraped something." He refunded my deposit which made no sense with his allegations. Then refused to give my keys back until I could show him a claim number with my insurance. Meanwhile, as I am trying to submit the claim against my will, other associates are walking by and defensively demanding to know why I am videoing and taking pictures of the car. My insurance person told me Derrick Parra nagged them about wanting my $500 deductible and then ultimately failed to provide documentation that I was at fault and the claim was dropped. Found out real quick why they are rated 1.9. Submitted a request on a vehicle, wasn't interested and I purchased a different car. They called and texted me for the next week EVEN after I said I wasn't in the market anymore. "So what car did you purchase?" I purchased my car about a year ago. I chose to go to this dealership because I wanted the extended warranty thru a ford dealership and not an off brand (Nissan) even though I received a better offer from them. I was picking between two Edge's at Peoria Ford and I asked which one has better tires. The sales man told me that they both had new tires, so I picked a gray one. As soon as I drove off the lot, my center console screen went black and froze. I had to drive back, ruined surprising my daughter with the car. this took about 2 weeks for them to fix. They did give me an escape as a loaner at least. When I got it back, a panel from the center console was broken, I'm guessing they thought I wouldn't notice. There was loose screws int he cup holder and the advisor didn't know what they were too. Then come to find out, the car did not have new tires on it. I specifically told the sales person I drove a lot so I didn't want to be buying new tires in a year. He admitted that he told me it had new tires, but all he could offer me was employee pricing when it came time to buy new tires. So I was VERY Disappointed. Now a year later, I'm having to buy a new battery also. So, I'm disappointed in the things I was told when I was buying my vehicle and their inefficiency and unwillingness to make things right. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I told them I was very serious in buying one of their vehicles and wanted more info on it and kept saying they were very busy and would help me soon. Soon never came they kept blowing me off saying they were too busy that day and eventually completely forgot about me. It's really upsetting that was the exact vehicle I was looking for and was ready to purchase but they completely ruined it with their lack of customer service, I will be going somewhere else.
