The porchetta sandwiches are amazing. The Calabrian is my favorite with a little spiciness, but I've had the mushroom and the rapini sandwiches which were great too. I like to just stop by the window they have in the parking lot and just pick up my sandwich to go, but if I could get a group together their wine and meat/cheese plates look appealing too. read more

A stellar experience. Pricey, but worth it. Unique, flavorful, scratch dishes and spectacular wines. Very quaint atmosphere.

Broders just opened this bright and trendy wine bar with quite a few tables for sampling their menu. Think of the menu as a list of tapas or snacks since the portions are tiny and expensive for their size. Don't go there hungry unless you've planned on $50+ per person for a few bites and wine. Despite being pricey, they do not accept American Express credit cards. My GF and I will definitely go back for a glass of wine before eating nearby since the wine pour size is decent which may justify the higher than average cost of most wines. read more

I have always been a big fan of Broders and Broders Pasta Bar which are in my neighborhood, so I was very interested in givingTerzo a try. Terzo specializes in small plates - Italian tapas so to speak. This is great with my wife and me as we like to sample a lot of different dishes. We went with another couple and arrived early so did not have to wait. Our server was very knowledgeable about both the wine list and the menu. I know next to nothing about Italian wines, so her help was much appreciated as she provided us with some great recommendations. Trezo sells their wines by the half-glass as well as the glass. I like this as it allows more opportunities for sampling. We were extremely pleased with all of our choices. We ordered the skewer del giorno for each person and shared the salumi board, the formaggi board, the vitello tonnato, and the polpo in stampo. The salumi board was spectacular! We also had dessert and this is one place you should definitely save room for desert. All of the Broder brothers were there that evening. I noticed that each dish was carefully inspected by one of them before serving and the presentations were beautiful, as good as I have seen anywhere. They have larger plates which looked pretty heroic in terms of size - I will stick with the small plates however. read more

Very overpriced but loved their outdoor seating! We met friends there and enjoyed their sharing style table and umbrellas. Probably won't return though. read more

Terrible, false advertising! Terzo advertises an Apperitivo / Happy Hour "daily until 6 PM" on their menu, Facebook, etc. but they do NOT honor this. Only go here if you really want to pay $10-16 for a *single* very small glass of wine. This is a place for snobs who have more money than they deserve or know what to do with. One moron mentioned in their review a dinner for two for "less than $165," as if that isn't absolutely outrageous. What planet do these scum live on? Much better to save your money to actually go to Italy and eat amazingly well than to waste it on this place... read more

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time last night. Loved the ambiance, the size, the fantastic selection of wines, the simultaneous non-intrusiveness and helpfulness of the waitress, and the delicious appetizers we had. We particularly enjoyed the chicken liver mousse. We are looking forward to returning soon. read more

Awesome new hot spot, superb staff and great menu. Very excited to have this quality addition to our neighborhood. Excellent knowledge of their food, wine, and craft beer selection. Will be coming back repeatedly. read more

Stay away. I'm keeping this place to myself! Ok, you can come, but don't tell anyone else.

It is rare that restaurants in Minneapolis hit all the marks of inventive and delicious food, great service, and excellent atmosphere. As noted by other reviewers, the portions were small, but we found the food very filling. There are many vegetarian options (though dairy free was a bit tougher), making it a great place for couples like us who span the gamut from nearly vegan to serious carnivore. Every single thing we ordered was packed with flavor and texture, including two amazing desserts. We both felt like we finally found a major market food experience in our own back yard. read more

Decentish food place. Dessert was far better than the average main courses. Price is high for what you get compared to national or global exceptional restaurants. read more

This is the best date night place in town, it has great ambiance and is very intimate. The servers are extremely knowledgeable about the food and the wine. Our waitress Karen asked us what we normally drink and gave great suggestions, even told us where we could buy the bottle of the wine we loved. The food is always fun and tasty. The portions are not the normally heaping bowl of pasta you would think of an Italian place, everything is nicely balanced. read more

Nice ambiance but food was meh. Nothing jumped out at us on the menu and everything was uber salty. But the server was really nice and knew a lot about the piedmont area if Italy. read more

Great little wine bar in South Minneapolis. I've always loved Broders (traditional and the pasta bar) and this is a prefect concept to complete the trifecta. Our bar tender was very knowledgable about the different wines on their list and all of the small bites/apps we had were outstanding - just the kind of food you want to share with a friend over a great glass of wine. Definitely worth checking out. read more

No reservation on a busy Thursday night. They were great about working us in and all the staff were very friendly. All of the food was excellent. Youngest daughters' porchetta sandwich was a big hit as well as all of the other items. read more

Much better than any sex you've ever had! Delightful flavors. Veg heavy. Fennel heavy! Italian wine list full of bottles you've never heard of: yeah! Even the foodie hipsters are easily ignored. Great neighborhood vibe and warm staff. Divine. read more

Great wine selection, including good house wines. The food has been great - I highly recommend any of the pork sandwiches. Finally, the staff has always been fantastic - even when we have come in with our one year old (we make sure to bring him early in the evenings when they open - this atmosphere is neighborhoody but best suited for adults). read more

Original food and great service. You may be tempted to skip the pork sandwiches but DON'T!!!! And make sure to get an egg in your sandwich.

Keeping this short and sweet! Terzo hits the mark on all accounts! Amazing service by the friendly staff, great ambience and most important of all...AMAZING menu. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. If you are in Minneapolis this is a restaurant you just have to visit! read more

Amazing food, extremely professional staff, sever recommendations for food and wine pairings are superb. We have dined here 6+ times and have always been impressed! Looking forward to the next time, worth our 80 mile drive from Mankato! read more

I've ate there before and enjoyed it so was excited to go tonight with my husband who made a reservation for us. When we got there they were going to put us in the middle of a supposed communal table even though there were many other open tables. We asked for a different table as I did not want to bump elbows with strangers but they wouldn't give us another table so we left. We will not be returning as they obviously don't want our business and it is ridiculous to pretend their 8 person table is a communal table. read more

Porchetta with truffled mushrooms = amazing. I made the trek down to Terzo after a good 6 months of having it on my wish list. I came in for lunch so wasn't in the mood for wine, but they had a solid tap list. Very cozy and a great place for a date. I'm getting lusty just thinking about the porchetta. Will be back for more! read more

I cannot say enough good things about the dinner I shared with a co-worker last night at Terzo Wine Bar. The food was outstanding, the service and recommendations were "spot on," and the wine was perfect for the evening. We split a lot of dishes and none fell short of simply excellent. My co-worker has been working in Minneapolis for almost a year and felt this was his best dinner yet in a sea of wonderful Minneapolis area options. I can highly recommend the steak and pork loin entrees, the duck egg and quail small plates, and the calamari and prosciutto antipasto plates were absolutely fantastic plus the prix fixe menu option is an incredible deal. We were stuffed before the entrees arrived! read more

Food was solid for the price the service was pretty slow seemed under staffed the night I was there. The presentation on the entree is awesome really top restaurant quality. Got to try both the steak and pancetta wrapped pork loin the steak was amazing perfectly cooked. The pork was ok nothing special. All of the accompanying vegetables and gnocchi were better then the meat in my book. The gnocchi and fingerling potatoes being the real stars for me. read more

This place is just too expensive and the food menu is not very interesting. To top this off the service is mediocre. If I am going to spend $50 (I split the bill with my friend so it was actually $100!) for a couple of glasses of wine and a small plate of salami and cheese, you should make sure that the experience that I have while consuming it is excellent. The lady sitting next to us had more wine knowledge than our server and honestly, we weren't asking for much, just a suggestion for a good bottle of red. She rarely checked on us and forgot to bring out some of our food until we were ready for the bill. The atmosphere is fine; especially at the bar, but I will not be back even though it is in my neighborhood. read more

First time was fabulous. Nice, cozy space. Attentive service by Karen, who guided us through the menu and helped select a nice wine. Olive starter well worth the $4. Small plates were really nice. Scallops with fennel purée with lemon pucker very nice. The torta di cipolla - puff pastry with caramelized rosemary onion - was terrific. Finished with a fun hazelnut cake with chocolate gelato and little lemon curds and cappuccino. Everything really was great, but the small plates are small (duh). It was perfect for what we wanted, and next time we'll likely try either the sandwiches, lamb shank or whole sea bass - we saw each of those go by and they looked great. read more

Very chic and trendy. VERY over priced, the bartender was drinking his own glass of wine for every one ordered it seemed. They only serve small portion appetizers, so not a share portion for the daters. Very cool place for a one time visit. We watched the bartender and manager open a bottle of wine (poorly)and then sift out the cork wasting a 1/4 of the bottle and pouring cheaper wine in to fill it back up. Shady! read more

Terzo staff are polite and very knowledgeable. Their food is as good as their reputation!! I feel like my great great Nonna cooked me a meal from the homeland! Delizioso! Squisito! Magnifico! read more

We love Broders Pasta Bar and finally got around to trying Terzo. I'd have to confirm some of the comments already posted here. The wine is really good, but the pours are not generous, even at $15 a glass. The composition of the small plates has potential, such as a marlin crudo with pineapple and fried garlic. But some items (the crudo and the fried calamari) were really oversalted in a way that made them hard to enjoy. Service was relaxed and pleasant and the patio is nice, but I'll stick to the Pasta Bar for consistently high quality food. read more

Love this place! The pork sandwiches are so good and love getting shared plates to try different things here! Also super cute decor and ambiance and friendly staff. read more

Went to Terzo for lunch on the patio and walked up to the order window. Picked the naked porchetta sandwich with a side of homemade chips along with a serving of aioli. One other couple was eating and our party of three had to wait a bit for our orders. Picked up our meal at the window and chowed down. The sandwich was great. Good bread. The meat - tender and flavorful. I ate half and took half home. The chips were fresh and plentiful. Also took half home. I used some of the herb aioli for the sandwich and some to dip my chips in. The others in the party ordered one each of the other porchetta sandwiches offered. They both enjoyed their meals and I have to admit, the truffle mushroom looked good but I am not a truffle lover. One reason why I chose the naked porchetta is that I wanted to taste the meat. Never had porchetta before. I liked it a lot. But, really, get a side of aioli and dip your chips in it. Mmmmmm! read more

I've never had a bad meal here. The food is delicious, especially the porchettas! Great wine selection and knowledgeable staff!

I was out at a Terzo for a birthday dinner with some friends last night. Unfortunately nothing on the menu fit with my dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, allergic to eggplant). I honestly didn't know what to expect, but talked with the waitress and she said she'd talk to the chef about making something that fit with my needs. There was no negativity from her, and no trying to sub things in that I couldn't eat. The moment she understood what I needed, she just changed her expectations and worked with me. I was pleasantly surprised, and the meal I had was delicious. Highly recommend. read more

Just had date night dinner here, just amazing. My wife lost her mind for the blueberry risotto and the egg yolk pasta dishes were some of the most flavorful italian I've had in the city. read more

I met a friend for a late dinner there last night. We each had the skewer of the day, glasses of red wine, and split the stuffed peppers, scallops, egg and tomato brushetta, and beat salad. Everything was very good and the server was super knowledgeable, it was just a little overpriced in my opinion. Some items were reasonable but spending $11 and $14 for a glass of wine or $15 for 2 medium sized scallops is more than I usually prefer. Next time, I will get a less expensive glass of wine , one appetizer or salad, and an entree. read more

Loved the wine selection and food was delicious. I sat at the bar with friend and had a great being introduced by the bartender to the different wine types. read more

I had a great experience at Terzo. The bartender was very knowledgable about the beer/wine list and I had the Risotto and it was phenomenal. If you're looking for a great place to eat, I would highly recommend this restaurant. read more

My wife and I were in town for a wedding, and the night before we stumbled across Terzo on some "best of" list and gave it a shot. We were amazed at our meals. For starters we had the fresh ricotta and the veal tonnato. the tonnato was honestly one of the best appetizers that i've ever had. truly remarkable. Next was the tajarin and the ravioli, both were quite delicious. the porcini ragu on the tajarin was notable. for our main courses, we had the verdure and the saltimboca. we rounded out the meal with an affogato and a semifredo. if you're in the area, i could not recommend Terzo more highly. It was an incredible meal. read more

I have Open Table to thank for having this restaurant pop up when I was looking for a dinner spot. Having enjoyed Broders in the past, but not having the patience to deal with long wait times, we decided to give Terzo a try. Simply put, the food was fantastic. While there wasn't a long list of veggie options, there were enough and what they did have was amazing. I started with the cauliflower flan, which was a really creative take on the Mexican dessert. I wasn't sure it would work, but it totally did. I then had the beet ravioli. It too was delicious. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because, as good as the entrees were, the portion size was rather small, particularly for the price. It would be nice if they could serve some fresh bread to augment the smallish portions. That said, because we were still a little hungry, we split the budino dessert. It is a testament to our relationship that we can amicably share something that admittedly makes you want to keep it all to yourself. read more

We started off with the deviled eggs and the peppers stuffed with goat cheese. Those were both amazing. Both of our dinners were spectacular. The service combined with the atmosphere is a no brainer go to place of choice. I highly recommend going to Terzo. You won't regret it. read more
