Lemon chicken with white sauce pasta
Tracey F.

I had been in before, but many years ago and have been to the Eagan location as well. Hubs was feeling like Italian so I suggested Andiamo. I wish I hadn't as we left very disappointed. It at least started out well. We were welcomed quickly and got drinks and appetizers orderes while we waited for another in our party to show. That's where the good ended. When our drinks came out (a mojito and Italian Margarita), we both commented that they were very sweet and we couldn't taste any of the alcohol in them. Didn't think about it much more as the food came out after. I had ordered lemon chicken with white sauce pasta on the side, another got the chicken andiamo with the same side, and a pear gorgonzola pizza. The person with the other chicken tried the pasta right away and dumped salt and pepper on it and said it was bland. I had started in on my chicken, which was at least decent, even though it could have used more sauce. When I got to the pasta, I got what was said. It was definitely bland and the sauce was totally broken. The person with the pizza said it was good, but rich. When the bill came, we found out why our drinks tasted off - they were rung in as virgin drinks! Ugh. We didn't ask for this and clearly aren't underage. I would have brought this up to the server, but was no where to be found after dropping off the bill and we just really wanted to get going. Don't think we will be returning.

I went here with a friend and it was a first time for both of us. Upon walking in, it smells amazing! Our server was super friendly and attentive. The menu has a good variety of options and they do have monthly specials I saw. They also offer a happy hour. I ordered the lemon chicken with Alfredo sauce noodles. The lemon chicken was flavored very well. The sauce and noodles were just ok, I wish they had a roasted potato option as a side. My friend got the carbonara and said it was good but just a bit oily/greasy. We both would recommend and go back and try other entrees. The breadsticks in the bread basket are very tasty!! Don't skip on them.

Chicken Parmigiana with white pasta.

Warm tomato spinach salad! Get it! This was a lovely Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. Surprisingly not packed for a Friday evening but we did go to dinner at 7:30. The bread and appetizers were typical Italian restaurant fair, good but not spectacular. My husband ordered chicken parmigiana with white pasta as the side. He gave it a 4 out of 5. It's what he orders at every Italian restaurant we go to, so he knows his chicken parm. I had the WARM TOMATO SPINACH SALAD! One of the top 5 salads I've had at any restaurant ever! No really, get it! The spinach was warmed just enough to be wilted but still crunchy, tomatoes were blistered but not soggy, the onions and walnuts and goat cheese provided the perfect balance. I added grilled chicken and didn't regret it. Superb.

Yum! We enjoyed our dinner at Andiamo. We had a large group of 15. The menu is large with lots of options. They take reservations and can accommodate large groups. Parking is easy! I'd return and recommend to others.

Great Italian food and wonderful service. In a strip mall but don't let that stop you. Feels like a stand alone place.

Server was very pleasant. It wasn't over crowded or noisy so that was nice. The scallop risotto was top notch. We will return

Also the chipotle chicken bowl is phenomenal. Their fries are homemade and are amazing. And I always order their chicken wild rice soup. It is the best. My husband always orders one of their burgers and he said they are always good. Mostly great service but lately have had a number of bad servers in a row. Not sure what is going on there but we had one server (Princess) which was pretty close to the worse service we've ever had. Was extremely rude, didn't refill sodas, and we practically had to beg her for the check. Buy other than bad service a few times and one bad menu item I'd say this place is hands down our favorite restaurant in Woodbury.

We visited the Tamarack Tap Room on a Tuesday evening ~5PM and were at the bar while waiting for…read morethe remaining party members. Bartenders were very nice and quick, ensuring that everyone had something to drink. I thought it was nice how the bartenders were interacting with us about sports and other fun interests, which meant that they were attentive! It was also very nice how one of the bartenders noticed I was finished with my drink and replaced it with an iced water. Once we had our party members, we were seated and were given menus. One thing I noticed was that our server ignored me and asked the rest of the table (who happened to be men) what they would like to drink. It seemed that anytime I was trying to say I would like a water, I was immediately dismissed. This happened more than once, which made the experience feel a little awkward. Since we were waiting on one more party members (who unfortunately couldn't make it at the end) maybe our server was waiting for him to be seated before taking our order? But it took her a full 20-30minutes for her to take our food orders, while I was still without a drink. I had to ask for water while making my food order. Bartending service was very nice. But table service was a bit of a disappointment. Food-wise it was alright, but nothing out of the ordinary that would make me want to come back. The inside was pretty nice though, with casual dining spaces. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'd come back anytime soon though.

TLDR: Good weeknight date package on a budget. Fried chicken sandwich was MOIST. Lowkey night…read morecrowd/less foot traffic. Shuffle board and foosball available to play for free possibly before and after golf session is done. Did y'all know Top Golf has date night specials Monday through Thursday? I did not and therefore decided to try it out. With their eat and play, we chose the $45 package for a 90 minute session of golfing AND comes with two entrees. Seems like a score for a weeknight date on a budget where there's food and entertainment. No, I was not compensated to promote this. **If you have never been there before, you'll do a one time registration fee to get you into the system for each new player. I believe it's $6. I'm assuming it works at any Topgolf location since I've been to both MN locations.** Ambiance: Night time here on a weeknight is a whole nother world. It was a Tuesday. Significantly less crowd. It's great if you're not into people busy places but still want to have a good outing. Bay Area/dining area/golf area: We were assigned on third floor Bay Area. Stationed next to another couple. There were tons of open spots. Makes sense for evening crew to better serve customers and not have to run around all over the place. Golfing: There's many different types of animated games you can play such as sonic or angry birds. I know nothing about golf or clubs but it was nice to allow people to have options and change it up for different shots. Food: Since we did the packaged deal, our options were limited to entrees and our wallets. I was curious to see what entrees would be included in the deal. Pretty sure it's the burgers/sliders/salads section. Food took maybe 40ish minutes to receive from moment of ordering. Fried chicken heat-wich: This was a big boy sandwich. Huge. It wasn't spicy to me but I have a higher spice tolerance. Still enjoyable and well balanced with the slaw on top. I gotta say that this was the juiciest chicken sammie I ever have. I was shocked. I would get it again. Fries: Not a crinkle cut fan but the fries were frying. They were fine. Tots: I love tots. They were crispy and fresh. I'm not sure if it's the brand or extra seasoning was added but at some point, they tasted very salty to me. May have just been my tongue or a one off. I'd still get it again over crinkle cut fries. Cheesy macaroni bites: I don't really like mac and cheese because most of the time it tastes like a big ole batch of bland. I tired it anyway. Crisp and crunchy on the outside. Still moist on the inside. Not my preference of flavor because Mac and cheese isn't my thing but I was not mad at it. Smokehouse burger: Did not try this one but it looked good. No complaints from my partner. Ice cream brownie or cookie thing: I don't know what this one was called because I didn't order it abs can't find it in the online menu. It looks like a possibly limited time Halloween thing. Not a big sweets person but I tried a bite. The brownie or cookie was overcooked in the skillet. Had to be scraped to eat it and was crumbly like sand. To be fair, if it was supposed to be a brownie, it seems nearly damn impossible to cook one that thin properly in a skillet so I get it. I will say, aside from the texture/cook, this dessert was on point with flavor. I didn't eat it with the gummy worms or sprinkles but with just the ice cream and brownie or cookie concoction, it was damn good. Might be because I don't eat desserts that the childhood classic flavors was a pleasant surprise but still, if it was cooked correctly, this one would have been a banger. **The server did ask about it and when they saw with my explanation, they took it off our bill** Service: Service was serving. Attentive and probably as quick as they could be depending on how many were on shift. I'm aware nighttime can vary from full staffed to you're the only one working. I appreciated them taking off the dessert. One thing that did bug me a bit was at the end of our game and packing left overs, another group had already been brought into our bay and started grabbing clubs etc as we were still seated/leaving the table. Our dirty plates and everything still on the table. Server said we could hang out at bar etc. Maybe we just needed to be more mindful of the time. I'm aware there are slotted and reserved times but with the numerous amounts of open bays, it would be in their best interest to just use another bay nearby vs what happened. Shuffleboard and foosball: One thing I liked is that they have shuffleboard and foosball for free.99. It was a nice safety net area for me to finish my beer after our golf session. You do have to go and grab the things for the shuffleboard from front desk though. Overall, good experience without blowing the bank. Would do it again.

We were trying to find something to do on a Saturday night. We saw that Titans had bingo, 2 for 1…read moredrink specials as well as some food specials (we were hungry!), so we decided to check it out. First impression when walking in, seemed a little grimy but we like hole in the wall bars. We sat at the bar and waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged. We ordered our drinks and were served promptly (bartenders Janine and Patrick were great!). We ordered the chicken chimichanga special and the cheese curds. The chimi was excellent, and you got a ton of cheese curds which were good as well. We arrived a bit early so hung out until bingo started. I went out to the back patio to find broken glass (looked like a thick pint glass). We brought this to the staffs attention and they cleaned it up right away. My son used the restroom, which he said the toilet seat was just placed on the toilet, not attached. While we were sitting at the bar, there was a women that was very loud at the end of the bar, shouting f'ing this and f'ing that, could have done without that. It was time for bingo, the bingo lady was very nice and explained their set up since it was our first time there. Packets (9 cards, including coverall) were $20, typically packets are half that price, but the pots were $75 with a $1199 coverall so we decided to go for it. All games (except coverall) were regular bingo, which is OK but I like a little variety. We didn't win, but that was fine. Overall, the food was good, the service was good, the specials were good. Bingo was kind of spendy and the place could use a good 'sprucing up', but a solid place to go if you have nothing else to do and are in the area.
