If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Woods Transmission & General Repair is hands-down…read morethe most unprofessional, disorganized, and downright shady shop I've ever dealt with. They will waste your time, your money, and your patience. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, when in reality they can't be bothered to lift a finger unless it's to run your card. My "repair" took weeks longer than promised, cost way more than quoted, and the car came back with NEW problems it didn't have before. When I pointed this out, they shrugged it off and tried to upsell me on even more repairs. The shop itself is a mess--looks like no one there has cared in years. Phones go unanswered, no one knows what's going on, and accountability is nonexistent. I wouldn't trust these people to check tire pressure, let alone touch a transmission. Save yourself the headache. Go literally anywhere else. Hopefully this shop can serve the city better when it gets turned into a parking lot.

We called Rockwall Auto and they informed us it would be a couple of days before they were able to look at it. It was 100 degrees, so we decided to rent a car and drop our Jeep off. They have us a call explaining that they were able to get our Jeep in early while they were waiting on parts and that it needed an AC compressor. They gave us a very fair estimate with a completion time of two days. Every part of our experience was great, and as a former technician for many years, I know when I am being treated fairly. If you are within fifty miles of Rockwall, this is the shop you should take your vehicle to.

I was expecting them to wait a day or two to get back and we were pleasantly surprised my car was ready for pick up early afternoon! He let me turn on the ignition and it was all better! We would come back here again for future as they have excellent service!
