First off this place is a rip off. They overcharge for everything. Would only go here for the last option. So many good mechanic shops to go to that will do a wonderful job for a wonderful price. I will never go here again. read more

Terrible Customer Service - Avoid This Location Dropped my car off Monday due to engine overheating. Was told it'd be ready by Tuesday--which it was. I asked if I could pay over the phone since I'd be out of town. They said no, it had to be in person. Wednesday morning, I walked to Firestone (since they had my keys) only to be told they don't accept Apple Pay--it had to be a physical card. I walked all the way back home just to realize my house key was on the car key they still had. I came back, explained the situation, and even offered to send extra money via Cash App or Venmo so someone could cover the charge and I could be on my way. Instead, the manager laughed in my face. When I pushed back, he called the police on me, refused to return my house key, and made a very unprofessional comment that came off like a threat. I missed my doctor's appointment because of all this. Bottom line: if you're in a tight spot and need basic decency or flexibility--don't count on this place. They made a stressful situation worse at every turn. read more

Sunday at 230pm I got a flat on horse trailer. Hours state they are open today til five yet no one was here or available to help us.

I had an oil change done at this Firestone location yesterday. It didn't take long and they were very nice. I'll be back!

Only giving a 1star to leave a review. Couldn't imagine a worse place to take your car. I sch a 9 AM appt to get my brakes done and oil changed. Drop off the vehicle @ 8:55 & and 3:30 I get a CVI summary that my tires are low...? I call the shop and they say they've just started to work on my vehicle and so that's why the report on the brakes weren't include. Then I get a call from Steve and he goes over the brakes and tries to up sell me $1110 for tires. I decline and he says he'll "wrap it up in a bow for me". I head back to the shop an hr before they close and Steve says, "I told you it would be ready by the time we closed." Which he didn't say. I come back 5 mins before 6 and of course Steve has already left for the day and so the lady at the front tells me it's going to be ANOTHER HR. FOR A BRAKE JOB. I called last week, I was told there were no available appointments in the morning until a week later. I walk in today for my 10am and they told me they won't see my car until noon. All I need is a quick OIL CHANGE. I currently cannot do drop off, I have a 2 yr old and newborn, nor will they sit still for 3-4 hours waiting for the car. The guy at the desk was nice and respectful but you can't have clientele with such terrible service. Kwik kar lube & tube did it in 30 mins with 2 other vehicles in the shop. read more

The employees at this location said my f250 weighed 10000lbs, ( actually the gvwr)too much to put on lift. In the manual it only weighs 6900 pounds. If they don't know this I'm not sure I want them working on my work truck. read more

These folks went above and beyond to replace two tires just before closing! Had a flat on the highway and limped in to their store and they couldn't have been more helpful. Had my size and helped make suggestions that saved me money. I live in FLORIDA but if I lived near them I'd definitely go back. They earned my loyalty! read more

You're better off driving around on flat tires than using this place. I'm not sure if they are dishonest or just incompetent, but I tend to think its the former. If you're a woman go anywhere but here. They will screw you over in a heartbeat. If I could give them anything less than one star I would. read more

Why does Firestone allow for this location to remain open? The lack of customer service and the flat out I don't give a damn attitude is sickening. Here is the story. Went to Firestone.com and read about their price match guarantee, which is supposeably part of their TRIPLE GUARANTEE pledge. Quoted $675 for new tires. Showed ad-written quote from Costco, same tires for $453. Man at counter immediately stated "We do NOT price match Costco". No explanation. When I arrived he was on the phone with a customer who needed to bring his car back due to not being fixed properly. It was 3:45 pm. Same counter guy said, you can bring it back today but we will not look at it until tomorrow. Made an appointment yesterday over the internet for a complete set of tires at 12 noon today. Gave them the make, model, etc. of my vehicle and got a quote online for the tires that I want. I arrived at 12 noon and they didn't have the tires. They were open at 7 am, 5 hours ago. Now they tell me that they have to drive to Wylie to get them. "Should get it done this afternoon" he tells me. When I made my appointment, I checked the box that said I would be waiting while the job is done. He asks me if I will be leaving my vehicle with them. It is like they didn't read my appointment details at all! The whole idea behind making an appointment is so that I can fit this into my busy schedule. I allocated 2 hours for this appointment. Now it seems like it will be all day. I drove 34 miles from another town. And since I need to do other things, it looks like I will be making that trip a few times today. I told them to call me when the tires arrive. 3/6/2012 - My husband took our truck to this Firestone in Terrell to get an alignment. The Firestone staff told him that new parts needed to be installed in order to be able to align the truck. My husband ok'd the work and 3 hours later it was finally finished. He came home, but had some reservations about the work done after hearing some conversations that other customers had with the service personnel while he was waiting. My husband then got under the truck to find that one of the parts had not been replaced - it was as old and rusty looking as it had been before my husband took the truck in. My husband took the truck back to Firestone and finally got the personnel there to admit that they had not put in a new part! Tex, one of the service people, told him that the mechanic had found a used part in a toolbox and had put the used part on instead of a new part!!! Tex finally refunded the price of this part, but did not refund the cost of the labor or make any other effort to remedy the problem. There was no explanation of why this was done. If this rusty, used part was OK to be put into our truck after they told us it needed new parts, now we are wondering if any of the work needed to be done at all. If my husband hadn't gotten suspicious and checked out the work, we would never have known. And they would have gotten away with stealing our money! I would not recommend these people, they cannot be trusted. They are liars and thieves. We are working with Fireston headquarters on this matter, but at this point - once burned, twice shy. read more

Can I give this place zero stars? I went in for what should of been no more then a 200 dollar brake job and was told I owe $1032. When I asked for a copy of the receipt to review what was charged, they had replaced parts on my truck that I did not ask or grant permission to do. We also found out that they charge labor on top of labor for the job. When we asked to take down the price he brought it down 400 bucks but I was still being charged for labor that's already part of the normal labor charge. The service was terrible. Looking at you Dan W. Who I'm guessing is originally from Tennessee according to your name badge. When we looked it up the cost for the brand of parts used by this place we're half of what they charged us online. If I had known all of this ahead of time I would've just done this job on my own. I will not be going to this or any other firestone ever again. I do not appreciate people trying to rip me off. I don't understand how they can charge 109 an hour for labor then charge me again for stuff he even said is part of the labor charge. read more

Terrible Service! I am / was a believer in Firestone and the service they would give but this one in Terrell is terrible! 2nd time in for an oil change at this location and even with an appointment, I was told it would be over 1 1/2 hours due to "others in front" of me. Why have an appointment if you are going to make it first come first served? The 1st time for the oil change, the service tech "forgot" to do the "free courtesy check". Save yourself time and probably money by going to another location or another local business. read more
