In the past I have given greens 5 stars. A couple yes ago they replaced my engine and turbo and I thought everything was good. I recently took it to another mechanic to fix an oil leak. He fixes one but found another with the lines leading to the turbo. Apparently they were covered in JB Weld and something else so he could see it for sure. I told greens and that asked that I bring it by so they could look at it. I had to wait a couples weeks till I went on a business trip. I called today to check on it and they acknowledged the shoddy work done while with previous owner. New owners kept the name and some of the employees but will not warranty the work under the old owner. Takes this review however you want but im not happy.​ read more

I requested a check of serpentine belt as would not start, and when it did with a jump power steering was wacky. Though front desk Cody was curtious and attentive, the diagnosis in no way addressed the serpentine belt, then a horrible estimate of over $6000.00 was made stating battery bad, alternator and power steering pump dead, then went on about rack n pinion need replacement. ( Battery and alternator were new in 23 by Toyota ) ... Took back home got second opinion and turns out was a faulty battery cable. car runs fine now... dahhhh seems a real diagnostic would have shown what the second mechanic found on his machine. read more

Always took all of my vehicles to Green's until it changed ownership. Do not like the atmosphere now. Took my truck in and I had to wait a while for someone to even acknowledge I was there. Was asking for an estimate for some repair work. Wouldn't give me an estimate even after I waited for so long. Want go back. I now take all my vehicles somewhere else read more

On Tuesday May 9th, I arrived at the shop for a condenser replacement. At 2 pm, I received a text message stating I need to replace the blower motor. When I arrived back at the shop, I told Shawn it was not possible that I needed a blower motor. He asked if I would like to speak to the Mechanic and I said yes. I asked Shawn, does the blower motor not blow air into the car? He said yes! I said, well my car does not need a blower motor, there is air blowing in my car, it is just hot, not cold. Shawn went out to meet the mechanic. Shawn walked towards me and he was shaking his head. He said never mind about the blower motor. He said the mechanic misread the work order. I dropped off my car the next day at 8 AM. At 2:15 pm, I called the shop to see if my car was ready. Emily said the mechanic was test driving my car and she would call me when he returned. Upon arriving to the shop, I saw my car still in the bay with the AC hoses hooked up to it. I walked into the office and asked Emily why was my car sitting there with the hoses hooked to it. Emily, proceeded to tell me I had a larger issue at hand. She said the Evaporator Core needed to be replaced on my car. I asked her what did she mean, nothing was said previously about the evaporator. I asked her why was I just now finding out about this. She said when the Mechanic does his check, he checks for the most common causes of why the AC was not working. He did not check it thoroughly, because he is going to check the more obvious. I ended up paying $631.29 for the repairs. While driving home, I heard a hissing noise and the smell of freon leaking was burning my nose. When I got home all the freon was gone; my car was hot. I called the shop and asked for a refund because the AC was still not working. I received the following text message from the shop: "I apologize for any inconvenience caused due to the recent repair work done on your ac system. I understand that we fell short in our efforts to identify all the issues at the first instance, and we should have looked further into the system to find all the leaks. We initially identified that the condenser was leaking, and we thought that fixing it would resolve the problem. However, upon further inspection, we discovered that there were more issues than we had initially anticipated, and the leak in the firewall was not immediately visible. Once we fixed the leak in the condenser, we were able to identify the second leak in the firewall, which we subsequently addressed. I regret that we were not able to identify all the issues at the outset, but please be assured that we did everything possible to rectify the situation once we were made aware of the additional problems. I am willing to work with you and set you up so that we can get all the problems fixed on your car. Again, I apoligize that we did not see all the issues in the first time you were here. I am willing to see what we can do to help keep our relationship good, and get your car working properly." The next morning, I called the shop and told Shawn about the hissing noise and smell coming from my vents, he said why didn't I call the shop. I told him I did and spoke to Emily, she said it was safe for me to drive. I requested a refund for the work that was done. He said I will absolutely not receive a refund from him. He said he will work with me on fixing the evaporator. He asked what did Emily quote me and I told him $1610.93, he said he would do the work for half of that. I told him absolutely not! I was very unhappy with their service and I did not want his mechanics to touch my car again. Shawn said he does not give refunds and he does not do business that way. He said I can work with him or not. Shawn also told me I better not go on Google and leave a bad review, because if I did, he was going to respond back with he offered to do the repairs at half the cost. At this point there was nothing left to be said between Shawn and I. I did not want them to do any further repairs on my car since it was misdiagnosed to begin with. read more

We took a 98 Maxima to Green's for repairs. They checked and called back, quoted "about one thousand and 50 dollars." A few days later we went to pick it up, and they wanted over 2000.00, almost twice what was quoted. After arguing, they went down to 1700. I should have gotten the quote in writing. They also wanted to replace the brakes on 4 wheels, which they told us they had done back about 9 months ago. We are not happy, so looking for a more reasonable and honest repair shop. read more

I had my ABS sensor go out and blow out of a tire on the highway. Thankfully I was able to find Green's because Raymond gave me new hope that there are still people out there that believe in customer service. After looking he figured out that he didn't have a tire to fit my car but he picked up the phone and found me someone just down the road who could help me. It may not seem like much but by picking up that phone he turned what I felt was the worst day ever into the day my hope for this world was restored. The real deal. Charming owner, very real evaluations on problems, troubleshooting mechanics that actually do it right the first time. Not looking to make a fast buck like some of the others locally. I have used Green's several times and their service was excellent until this last visit. My truck broke down, front caliper came loose. Called them to ask what wrecker service they would recommend and they said they would pick it up. After telling the lady on the phone several times it was a 1 ton 4WD Dually and the front wheel wouldn't turn. She said they could pick it up. They showed up with a 3/4 ton truck and flatbed trailer to get it. The outside dually's weren't even on the trailer. Well when we went to get it the young man that repaired it had the keys in his pocket and said he would bring it to where we were parked (1st time they ever did that). He opened the door for my husband to get in. We drove it home. I scheduled an appt for the next day to have tires put on. When my husband went to take it for the tire appt he saw that it had been wrecked on the driver side (young man was hiding it with where he stood). He went and got tires put on, brought it back home, was sick the next day so took it back to Green's the following day. They said because it had over 100 miles on it, their insurance probably wouldn't cover it.(23 miles to my house, appx 27 miles to tire place each way, 23 miles back to Green's) Give them a week to talk to their insurance company. We had to call back and ask about it. They said no wouldn't cover. So they have now lost our business. It turned out to be over $1500 worth of damage to my truck. read more

Check engine light was on. Took 2010 Cobalt to Greens (they are the only people who worked on this car). Said needed camshaft position sensor. Before it even left the shop, the check engine light came back on. Emily called and asked who told us that the car needed the camshaft position sensor, told her you did. Well she said that was wrong, it was the variable valve timing oil control valve solenoid, so removed and replaced that. Here it is 5 days later, check engine light still on. I have all the paperwork from those two supposedly repairs. Gave Green's a mouthful and asked for a refund for what I have paid to the, seeing as they did not repair car. Was told owner, Shawn was going to call me, still waiting for that call. I did take the car back to have the "codes" reset, was told that I needed a camshaft position sensor, did they not just do that?????? When Mr. Green died, someone else bought the shop, I never had a problem. Since these people have taken it over, I have had nothing but problems. I will never take my car back to Green's and I strongly urge other people not to waste their time or money taking their cars to Greens. If I could have given zero stars I would have. read more

Please listen to my experience to save you a nightmare. I took my 2013 Audi to Green's in Terrell for a low coolant level indicator and for my A/C. I have had next to no issues with it prior to this experience. I asked if they had experience working on Audi's and if they were knowledgeable, comfortable, and capable. Emily, the shop manager (who I honestly thought was the front desk receptionist for the first few weeks my car was there), reassured me multiple times that they had the experience and were equipped to do so. I could tell you every detail about how they dropped the ball repeatedly and then ended up damaging my vehicle but you'd lose the best part of your life just reading about the atrocity of it all. After the shop had my vehicle for an entire month and had STILL not completed the repairs, I told Emily that I needed to pick it up regardless of whether they could figure out the A/C issue (gave them a week in advance prior to this and they supposedly only needed one more day to fix...it was always just one more day). The day I go to pick it up, I'm informed that it suddenly wouldn't start anymore and she doesn't know what happened. Then she proceeds to tell me that she thinks it needs to go to the dealership. They tow it to the dealership (which was a disaster on its own) and the dealership takes a look at it. The mechanics caused electrical damage to my car and the part they installed for the A/C was faulty. I explain to Emily that I felt the shop was responsible for the damage and should pay for the repairs. She denied all responsibility and then proceeded to tell me woman-to-woman that I needed to walk away from the car since it was in my ex's name and I should stop being walked all over. Trust me when I say that she had no intention of trying to help empower me; it was all a ruse to try to negate her responsibility. She then tried to sell me on the idea of her picking up a car for me at an auction, which she brought up a couple of times previously. I've been extremely patient, understanding of their obstacles, and always kind to them but it ended up backfiring on me. I don't know what all is going on over there but it's definitely SUPER SHADY. I'm still trying to get my vehicle back and it is going on two months now. It's so bad that I'm going to end up having to take them to small claims. I rarely write reviews and definitely not negative ones but it's important that others are aware of how they do business. Will NEVER go here again. read more

Green's did a great job on my car! They were very nice and knowledgeable, and the price was right. They were so helpful and really took the time to explain things to me. I ended up there by accident when my car broke down on the highway. I could not be happier with their service though. Super nice people! I was traveling through Terrell with a trailer that was loaded down & I needed air in 3 out of 6 of my trailer tires. The owner checked all tires air pressure and even stopped traffic in order for me to back out on the highway and leave. I didn't need tires, but when I do, I will buy from this store! read more
