Ordered 3 apps, charcuterie and cheese tray, Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple syrup, and bacon wrapped scallops. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. Charcuterie tray was ok but a bit overpriced at $25. Scallops were good. Dinner orders included bolognese, chicken parmigiana, mixed grill, and fig flatbread. Nothing was exceptional, just ok. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She was quite skilled at maneuvering in and out of the igloo. Overall we were glad that we went to experience igloo dining, but it's most likely a one-and-done for us at Terrazzo's. read more

The Food is Always Delicious. My favorite is the Fig Flatbread Pizza with Balsamic glaze .. mozzarella..feta..and arugula. As many times as my girlfriends and I have been there, mostly sitting at the bar.. Love the vibe in here. My friend and I came for a girls night. We got an espresso martini (or a few ;) ) and they were delicious! Service was great - very attentive. We shared an app (Mediterranean egg rolls) and really enjoyed them - perfect for 2 people. She got the Chicken Zio and it looked amazing. She really liked it. Took half home too! So this was my 4th chance ..a friend wanted to try it so I didn't tell him the last three experiences were negative. We had reservations..we waited 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged..my husband had to ask the bus boy if we had a waitress.She came over took drink order ..my friend asked for particular drink she didn't know what it was but would ask ..if not my friend asked for a margarita..she came back 15 minutes later w/out any drinks saying sorry they don't have that drink . We waited another 10 minutes for drinks. We were ready to walk out. I'm almost a regular here. I eat out more that I do at home and not afraid to spend money. Tonight we were overcharged on the drinks and brought it to their attention. They disagreed and then had the nerve to question us on the tip. Money is no issue with us, but now they just lost a good customer. I will NEVER go back there and I'll be sure to tell all my friends not to visit also. How can a single person have 6 drinks in a 1.5 hour period? Don't understand the bad reviews. We had an amazing experience here. Top notch service. We were at another Italian restaurant nearby and had a round of drinks and apps and left because of the subpar service and lackluster menu. Drove here on a whim and they had patio dining for us without a wait on a Friday around 7 pm. The patio had the fireplace going and heaters. It was so warm and inviting. I asked to substitute my mashed potatoes in my chicken piccata with fresh pappardelle and they accommodated that with a small upcharge. Finished off with delicious tiramisu and a espresso martini. Went for lunch with the family. Sunday seems to be the day to go. We had our pick of seats. There were some people at the bar so we weren't alone. It's very cozy inside. Lots of great choices on the menu from appetizers and entrées. We were looking for something lite so we ordered a flatbread and the calamari. Everything came out hot and smelling terrific. Terrazza is a quaint, cozy restaurant with the best adult beverage menu! I love sitting by the fireplace in the winter time enjoying a meal. The last time I went was with my cousin and we both had the Faroe Island Salmon and it was delicious! We also split a Caesar salad. The bread with feta was so good we had to ask for more. My favorite drink is the Peanut Butter Cup Martini- it is so die for. PB and PB cups line the Martini glass and the drink itself is the perfect mix of chocolate and PB. Around Christmas time I enjoy the Gingerbread Martini. The desserts are also delicious. It's fun just to sit at the bar and have a drink and dessert or app. It's close to home which is even better when craving a small bite or an entire meal. We were staying at the casino on a Monday night (no restaurants open there Sunday- Wednesday) and between Yelp and casino staffers we found Terrazza, a short 5 minute drive with easy parking. The place was full at 7:00PM with some diners opting to sit outside, on the terrace where they have several small dining "yurts". The menu had something for everyone and every appetite. We came in with a reservation to sit outside which unfortunately we weren't able to do because it started down pouring as soon as we arrived. Bummer because the outdoor patio is really beautiful. The hostess was able to get us a seat indoors very quickly even though they had removed everybody from outside indoors as well. We started with the calamari for an appetizer, and I have to say it was one of the better calamari dishes that I have had. It was fried just right and served with peppers and a citrus and cherry pepper aioli. I had the seafood parpadelle, it had a nice flavored sauce, but what stood out most to me was how fresh the seafood tasted especially the shrimp. The sangrias were sneaky. On the menu it says it is a secret recipe. it has a good flavor, I almost thought to myself it doesn't seem to pack too much of a punch, but then about halfway through I changed my tune. We had Alyssa for our waitress, she was knowledgeable about the menu and gave just the right amount of attention. My husband got the pink vodka parmigiana, he is Italian and has pretty high standards so his opinion was "pretty good", but he did comment that the pasta was over cooked. read more

Dinner the night before Valentine's Day - this place was a ghost town, not unexpectedly!! But we were greeted warmly and sat at a nice table away from the bar noise. Queer o meter - 10! Yay!! I got the Bolognese with a hint more sauce and hummus appetizer. the humus comes with warm thick pita that is YUM and the pasta was tender wide noodles with a cooked to order sauce. My date got the goat cheese salad and the margarita pizza. She said they were both delicious. I took a taste of the pizza to lend my opinion, I like my pizza with more red sauce, however she LOVED IT and the flavour and crispness was perfect. The service was a little slow, and I say that hesitantly because dinner shouldn't be rushed and company enjoyed. We didn't feel rushed and the help was accommodating and the food was fresh and hot. Dinner took well over and hour to come out. We had to hunt the waiter down to put in our orders for drinks/food. We were in a igloo and felt very much forgot about many times. The food was decent, the menu was very small. I just had a hard time justifying the service. We had a birthday cake we had brought with us and had to ask At least 4 times for them to bring it out after dinner was done and we sat there for about 30 minutes until they brought the cake out. My wife and I slipped in for dinner on a Saturday night. Called on our way, there were a few open spots at the bar (nothing else available, reservations recommended). The food at Terrazza is delicious, it was my 2nd time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice both inside and outside. In the winter time they have the igloo-like tents outside. Although I did not eat outside in the coldest of temps, I ate inside. I ordered the Mediterranean Eggrolls and the Harvest salad (half portion). The rest of my family enjoyed their meals too! I would give this restaurant a 0 if I could. There is nothing to eat on the menu. They have two steaks that are NY strip was 42. And the filet was 45. Which I would never pay at this place. They add gratuity on your bill and don't even tell you and don't get dessert They get their dessert from restaurant depot and it's tiny for $10. They don't know how to make sangria. I decided to try this place randomly since I've heard good things about it. First it all the food kind of took a while to come out- but we were a party of 5 so maybe that's why (I usually don't come out to eat with my entire fam so not sure). Secondly the portions were surprisingly small for the entree I ordered- which was chicken Parmesan. They did however give me a lot of Macaroni- which I really liked! It tasted and looked homemade! However; I'm used to Johnston restaurants and the portions they serve for entrees like chicken Parmesan are always quite large- so maybe I'm a bit spoiled from that. The chicken Parmesan was good- the chicken was nice and tender but it was a bit thick and should have been pounded out a bit more. I thought their calamari was great (appetizer) and the tangy zesty sauce (Orange) that they give you is AMAZING! I really liked the crispness of the calamari- but my Dad surprisingly wasn't a fan. I swear he prefers the chewier type of calamari! My mom also agreed that the calamari was really good. The portion size for the calamari was huge- so not sure why the entrees were so small in comparison. I'm not sure what my Mom ordered for an entree but My Mom (the pickiest eater ever) enjoyed the food! My Dad got the chicken Marsala and he was upset they didn't have veal Marsala so it kind of threw him off but he said his was good too. So overall the food wasn't the best I ever had but it certainly wasn't bad. Service was just ok- nothing standout at all and if anything a bit slow. The restaurant was cute and cozy. Couldn't tell what kind of restaurant this was considering the menu was a bit al over the place but overall I would return. I have been to this place quite a few times now for drinks and most recently for dinner. I got there at opening time, ample parking, outdoor patio, inside there is a bar and restaurant style seating. The first occasion it was summer, I sat outside at the baron a gorgeous day and had a few martinis. Drinks were good, bar is beautiful and clean. The second occasion it was night time in the fall I sat at the inside bar. It was very busy but surrounded by many also enjoying their experience having again martinis. Most recently I came in at opening sat at the bar and Meg was working. She is extremely nice, personable, made great recommendations and made awesome drinks. I had a pineapple upside down and a peanut butter espresso martini. Someone I was with enjoyed the Reese's, if you are all about the peanut butter I highly recommend the Reese's martini it will blow your mind. The taste and the presentation. It was happy hour and we enjoyed some appetizers and pizzas. I could live off of the eggplant parm bites and never get sick of them. They were amazing! We also got the Baba Ghanoush and some calamari. The pizzas were thin crust delicious, we tried the Sausage & Pepper and the Fig Jam & Prosciutto. We were not disappointed. The only thing that did surprise me, is the winter igloo's do cost money. It is not a first come, first serve. You make a reservation and there's a charge. read more

Soooo yeah, pretty disappointed in the overall experience here today. My MIL made reservations for 11 people we were there for 11:15am (well some of us) but we did advise the server that we would start and then the others could order whenever they go there as they indicated they were going to be late. The server was very nice he was friendly, engaging, but as far as upkeep of beverages and getting food out it was a very wonky experience. Some of us got Mimosas and quite honestly, they should be served in champagne flutes as they resembled the amount you would get at a wine tasting and looked very silly in the large wine glasses. Also, we would finish them and have to wait a long time to see the server make an appearance again and order more. When we ordered our second he advised we could get bottomless mimosas for the same price as getting a second so of course we opted for that. Well more waiting for #3 of the "mimosa" and by the time we wanted to order our fourth they ran out of champagne. I guess there IS a bottoms with bottomless. Also the food arrived minutes apart and another table seemed to be dealing with the same issue that had this same server whereas the other servers tables that had arrived after us and were just as large of a party ate and left. We had to ask for water glasses to be filled again and again and it was so humid in there. On the positive side, the littles ones food did come out first and although they didn't have a kids menu they could do pretty much whatever. My lobster Benedict was tasty but there were pieces of shell and because we had to go shortly as my daughter needed a nap and we had been there about 2 hours at that point, I just finished it and made no mention of the bits of shell. read more

Julia was our server and did an incredible job! She was very personable, accommodating, efficient and had great recommendations. Our apps calamari and the meat/cheese board were fresh, plentiful. Our entrees were large, flavorful and delicious. The menu classic and very affordable. For dessert we got the chocolate cake. Delightful!!! The best part of all - the martinis. Went this early evening to give this place a try, since we just moved to the area. Sat on patio which is a nice plus for al fresco dining. We were greeted promptly, ordered a bottle of wine& our food. Well, the food could use some tweaking to get it to five stars. May I suggest the following: hummus-very good- could use a more interesting variety of veggies as accompaniments, as well as chopped herbs on top and a good shake of za'atar - would enhance visual presentation. The shrimp appetizer was served with two small crostini- not enough for the shrimp in the order. The sauce is outstanding! More toast please! So, I have slightly mixed feelings about my first experience here, which is why I started with 3 stars. Upon arrival, there were no parking spots at all. No worries; I just made my own like a few others did. It was a Saturday evening around 6:30pm, so hopefully the parking situation is at its worst then. We walked in and stood at the hostess stand for a whole 8 minutes without an acknowledgement, even though two girls were standing there. I understand that they're busy, but anything would've made me feel slightly less awkward. Our wait was approximately 30+ minutes which wasn't a problem. We walked to the bar to get cocktails and there I stood again for at least 5 minutes without anyone paying attention. I was the only one standing. Again, not angry because I get that they're busy. We finally grabbed a couple drinks (which were DELICIOUS) and had great service from the bartender Wendy. Thanks, Wendy! We were eventually seated outside, and our waitress was fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed our food (calamari to share, Seafood Pappardelle, Paella, and Swordfish dinner. Our waitress was patient, funny, and a great time. She even moved us closer to the fire without having to ask since it was getting pretty chilly outside. They have a small bar in front with the townies chillin. The appetizers were small portions and pricy, but high quality; same with the main entrees. However the server paced it well, and the bus boys were very helpful and friendly. Wine selections were tasty, and so were their beers. The setting was very much like, especially with the outdoor fireplace. I'd recommend them if you were looking to ball out with your friends as I did, but not for a family. read more

I stopped in here for dinner because I have passed this place numerous times and felt it was time to check it out. It's a very cozy restaurant and the large fireplace in the dining room is gorgeous. Perfect for a cold winter night. I just wish that the food was better. The food was not bad by any means but it just fell flat. The appetizer of spinach artichoke dip was horrendous. It was Dry and Bland. The cheese was stringy and such but had no flavor which left it unidentifiable. It just was chewy and stringy and the dip had huge quartered artichoke hearts that didn't allow for easy scooping with the paired crostini. The calamari was good. Not great but good. Crispy and not chewy which was a plus but it too could use some salt. My friend had the Chicken Saltimbocca which was once again bland! Which was shocking considering it was to be paired with Prosciutto di Parma which normally is quite salty and yet that couldn't even save the chicken. The chicken however was not dry and was moist. The Ribeye I ordered was probably the best dish. It was grilled and seasoned well and although it was covered in some garlic sauce (not much) I still enjoyed it. Normally I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to a nice grilled steak. But the sauce was not bad and there was not too much of it which made me happy. I want to taste the steak not have it masked by something. Overall the food was mediocre in my opinion. The ambience however made the evening quite enjoyable as well as our waitress who was sweet and funny and very attentive. I'd like to say I may try this place again but I'm not too sure. read more

Beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous restaurant, decent food but lousy customer service. There was only one waiter in the whole restaurant. He never refilled our waters or checked on our table. Ordered a steak and they gave it to me cold. Tasted like it just came out of the fridge. When I complained and had it sent back, they reheated the steak in the microwave and served it back to me and let me know they had warmed it up. It was still cold. I would have sent it back again but I was pretty sure they'd spit in my food if I did. I was charged full price for the meal. Will not be coming back to spend my hard earned money on expensive microwaved steak. Such a shameful experience for such a gorgeous restaurant. read more
