This Terasse has a super dope ambiance! Located on the rooftop of Hotel Nelligan it's the vibe of the summer!! We came in here with a friend for lunch. It was a monday and aparently they don't have their chef on Mondays so we were super bummed because their menu is BASIC! Very few options. We went with the prosciutto and burrata platter and Greek Salad there was not much food unfortunately The food we got was super fresh and deeelish even if it was very limited!! The cheese burrata was amazing I really liked it a lot!!! My cocktail was deelish I had the Morgan Colada yummy totally recommend it it's on the sweeter summer vibe! They do Valet parking here so you can just park your car and enjoyyyy the summer terasse vibe with no headaches Service: Really nice waiters and very professional always coming around to check on us making sure all our needs are met! Overall, I would definitely come back here on a more busier day so we can explore the full menu ! Cheers

Great service, tasty food, wonderful breezes and wonderful view. Would return to dine but would request a table w chairs. These lounge couches look nice but make you slouch- no back support!

Great night out in the middle of old port with a beautiful view on the waterfront! Valet parking downstairs so getting to the place is not a headache. The service was amazing, with our waiter William going above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need for the whole night and the manager, Kamel, personally bringing out our entree and checking up on us throughout the night. We were also treated with some amazing desserts :) The dj set was amazing and the music was just loud enough to set up a perfect atmosphere & quiet enough to be able to have a conversation without needing to yell over the music. The whole atmosphere of the place is very vacation-style! We had a very good night & will be back again!

The food was delicious but not as good as the service. Florence was an AMAZING waitress, she was kind and honest and helpful. The ambiance was also perfect. Would definitely come back.

Terasse Nelligan is on the 5th floor of Hotel Nelligan in the old port. Nice view, a great selection of cocktails and all sort of alcoholic beverages, however food wise very limited. We were a group of 3 and all ordered Monterey Jack cheeseburger and also order fried calamari too start off. Before I discuss the meal I want to talk about the service and the seating. The chairs were very uncomfortable, kinda like patio chairs and when u sit down specially if you are wearing shorts or short skirt you can feel it cutting and leaving marks on you skin. We asked our waitress if she had something that we can put on top. She said yes and left, after more than 20 minutes she came back with a piece of small cardboard, u know those thing you put under the table to level it. We explained that we wanted cushions or something. She said she can offer us napkins. Anyways we took 4-5 napkins and placed under us. Service was very slow, our waiter was not attentive at all. Although i know many restaurants are having difficulty with staff but this was not the case here as there was many servers, but ours was either not there or not attentive at all. As for the meals, the calamari was great, drinks were wonderful but burgers nothing really special, very normal.

Catchy, ambient music, great views of the Notre Dame Basilica, and a nice bar make this a fun place to meet up for a drink. We went once during the day while rain poured around us and once at night. The cocktails are up to par but not outstanding. The ambience and views more than make up for it, in my opinion

My sister and I resumed our monthly brunches. We decided to reserve a terrace. At hotel Nelligan in old port, on the 5th floor, the beautiful terrace welcomes you with open arms. The staff are friendly, amiable and super hygienic. I started my brunch with a grapefruit mimosa; it was lovely and soothing. Then, we started with mushroom quiche and pastries as appetizers. The quiche was delicious, flavorful and it had a stunning presentation with apple coleslaw on the side. The pastries were unremarkable. The main dishes were a letdown. It had a sloppy presentation. The salmon Benedict was so bland. The energy bowl (chickpeas, eggs, chickens, green beans, walnuts, corn, bok choy, and avocado...) was soaking in a pond of oil. Both main dishes were not finished. The prices were little bit high for the quality of food. In overall, the best part of this terrace was the service.

Dinner with a beautiful view on Old port Montreal. Friendly and caring service, great cocktails. The reason I'm rating 4 stars is because I the menu wasn't rich enough. It is limited with small choices. However it is definitely worth putting in your bucket list. It is a lovely place.

    Tomato basil gazpacho

Ok I had a pretty good time here! I went for a business lunch and ordered from their special lunch menu. I had the strip loin steak with fries and the tomato basil gazpacho. During the weekday lunch time it's not busy at all! We took a reservation just in case. My lunch companion thought the customer service was poor but I thought it was quite okay. Normally I don't go for cold soups but I surprisingly really enjoyed the gazpacho and found myself slurping it up in a matter of moments--it had a nice umami kick it to it and freshness from the basil. The steak was a little bit tough in some places but overall quite satisfactory and I can't believe I ate the whole plate of fries. They're good fries when they're not too greasy. On a warm sunny day sitting in the shade is quite pleasant, especially when there's a bit of a breeze going on. When you're seated you can't actually see very much in terms of view but it's nice to have rooftop experience.

Eggs Benedict, not worth $19. Sauce was broken and the side of chorizo is those 2 slices on the eggs

Went for brunch with a group of friends. I didn't have high expectations, it's a terrasse in the old Port in tourist season but figured food would be ok and I'd have a good coffee. The terrasse is very nice. Pretty spacious and lots of tables. They were able to accommodate 12 of us and we only reserved 2 days before. The food was ok. I ordered the eggs Benedict, the Hollandaise sauce was broken and the chorizo ended up being 2 thin slices. Definity not worth $19. Their coffee machine was broken so I couldn't have coffee, which was pretty dispointing. The service wasn't great. Our waiter forgot one of our friends had already paid and became aggravated. When our friend showed him the bill the waiter calmed down. Quite unprofessional. Overall, there are so many better places to go for brunch!

    Sangria Claire.
    Addy B.

It's on a rooftop. How do you get up there? Enter from the hotel and it's 5th floor. It's a gorgeous view of the river and Vieux Port. The cocktails are priced well around 13 CAD. The sangria Claire was refreshing after spending hours in the sun. The food and service was okay. My friends got the fish tacos and I had the sky burger. Apparently you could only get the burger well done, which i found surprising. Even though it was well done, it wasn't dry and it was seasoned well. It was a busy Sunday evening and it took our server a while to get back to us to take our order, which wasn't a issue. She seemed rushed the whole time. I would return for drinks on the rooftop after dinner or before dinner-somewhere else. Location, ambiance and views are a 5. Food- 3 stars.

The restaurant didn't provide a high chair for our baby, which was a bit disappointing. The service was good with our waitress checking with us to order and being prompt and attentive. Here is what we ordered: Grilled Cheese O+G (8/10) - the bread with the grilled cheese and caramelized onions were cooked well. The homemade ketchup had a sweet taste to it and was brought out a little colder than room temperature. I probably would have preferred the ketchup/tomato sauce to be a bit warmer. The Chicken Melt (8/10) - this sandwich was pretty big. It had grilled chicken in a creamy sauce, some Cole slaw (actually a lot of Cole slaw) and some dill pickles. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat and I think it had a little too much Cole slaw, but it was a good sandwich, nonetheless. Overall, I good experience with a few suggestions in my review that I think would have made it really great.

So, what is a Montreal bagel and how is it different from any other bagel? Well, they are smaller, thinner, denser, and sweeter, with a larger hole in the middle than most other bagels. Back in the day, they were always baked in a wood-burning oven. Today, those types of ovens are illegal, so they engaged a team of bagel production experts to reconfigure a cooking process and replicate the test and texture of their old-school wood fire baked ancestors. And their bagels can be enjoyed in eighteen different varieties, and that is a pretty awesome selection. We decided on an Everything Bagel with jalapeno cream cheese (C$5.25) and a Plain bagel with salmon cream cheese (C$5.25). Our drinks were a Small Americano (C$3.50) and a small drip coffee (C$2.75). My Everything bagel was wonderful. Chewy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a subtle "hint of sweetness" taste. It was everything you'd ever want in a bagel. And the jalapeno cream cheese was great. I order this a lot and sometimes I end up with a dissapointingly bland cream cheese with the lightest green tint to it, as though someone used an eye dropper to administer a few milligrams of pickle juice. But not here, there were actual hunks of raw jalapeno in the cream cheese that left no doubt in your mind what you were eating. They sure delivered the old zip I expect in anything with the word "jalapeno" in its description. You order on their assembly line (the servers were great), then grab a table out in the common area outside the store. PRO TIP The store can be tricky to find. It's inside an office building on a lower level which resembles a shopping mall. What a great thing for the office workers to grab some food without confronting the harsh Montreal winter weather.

Well, I thought I was ordering the pancetta, when I pointed at the item with the sign for it, it was actually a ham and cheese croissant...but until they served it I didn't know that's what I had pointed to. When I questioned it that it didn't look like pancetta they said that people always mix that up... I guess maybe they ought to display it differently, but they happily made me the pancetta and I took it to go because at that point I had already bit into the ham and cheese and that along with the danish and coffee, it was enough for then... They didn't charge me for the pancetta! That was NICE, so I gave them an extra tip in the jar, because they were very gracious about it. The danish was very good and went nicely with the coffee. I enjoyed my window seat overlooking the street (until the bee came....) Later, when I went to eat the pancetta, I unwrapped it and found it to be barely filled with any meat, but certainly plenty of greens. It wasn't pleasant, so I didn't really take but a couple bites before throwing that away. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, if that's how it normally comes. Overall I'd go again and order the danish and coffee. The ham and cheese was actually pretty good too. But I'd be careful on the pancetta.. maybe it was a one-off situation.
