For $27 for a plate I expect more love in the food and flavor. The meats were ok, nothing bad and nothing spectacular. Definitely not winning any BBQ competitions. They were "just ok". Additionally, the corn on the cob was overcooked and soggy. - Portioning: We ordered the "Feast for Two," which is noted to serve 2-3 people, yet it only includes two cornbread muffins. Instead of the tender, sliced pork belly I was anticipating, it came with three large chunks of meat covered in barbecue sauce. It honestly didn't resemble what I would typically consider a pork belly sandwich, and I found myself a little confused by the presentation. The macaroni and cheese had good flavor, although it seemed a bit dry and firm, as if it had been sitting for a while. I understand that everyone has different styles of barbecue, and this may have simply been an off day. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's helpful, because I know many people speak highly of Big Vic's. I truly hope this was just an exception, and I'd be willing to give them another try in the future.
