First time here. Sandwiches are GOOD!!! We ordered a salami sandwich on wheat bread and a hot pastrami sandwich on a roll. Everything is fresh!!! Sandwiches are huge and very good!! We cant wait to come back here and try types of sandwiches. They also sell chicken salad, potato salad, ambrosia salad. Customer service is friendly, parking is easy to come by, you can pay with credit card/debit card.

Terrace Market is an unassuming, easy-to-miss spot for great grab-and-go sammies. Parking is easy in the lot in front. (Incidentally, there's also a mailbox outside the front door should you have other errands to tend to.) The couple who run the deli listen and work with care, making your order just the way you want it. There are also pre-packaged containers of sides such as jello, green salad and watermelon. I'm a repeat customer for the BLT (on toasted rye, plus onions and pickles). I tried the tuna once and it was not for me because it is a tad sweet. The deli is co-located with the convenience market; however, they are now two separate businesses. (That market is the kind of place where you will want to check expiration dates before making a purchase.) The deli owner reports that there have been at least three owners since the market opened in 1958. Behind the deli counter, there's a cool framed grand opening advertisement, which cites the dates 6-11 June (Monday through Saturday), with no year. (I did my research and it corresponds with 1955!) Terrace Market is a long-lived neighborhood spot for groceries that is worth a stop to do your part to support small business and grab some tasty to-go sandwiches. P.S. Bring cash to save a few coins.

I just found this place as it is close to My Work. Oh my God...The best sandwich I've had in a long time. Reasonably priced and loaded! This is my new go to Sandwich spot!

    Tri tip

We ordered the pastrami and tri tip sandwiches -- 2 for $26. Both were packed with meat, definitely hearty portions. The tri tip was tender and tasty, though it could use just a touch more salt for balance. The pastrami, on the other hand, was thinly cut bit generous portions -- definitely standout. Sandwiches come with shredded iceberg lettuce and white onions (not red), which keeps things simple and classic.

The sandwich was absolutely delicious! It had a generous amount of meat, the vegetables were very fresh, and the bread was perfectly toasted The customer service was excellent as well, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be coming back

Amazing 100/10. Will be going back a lot more times for sure. I got hot pastrami and Medium sized tub of chicken salad. Both were delicious sandwich packed like scooby do and I love it.

    Tuna salad: sweeter side

Ordered the tuna salad; Tuna was on the sweeter side is definitely what I don't prefer. So I probably won't order it again but definitely will try them again. Bread was good portion of filling is really good and prices were reasonable. Service not applicable as we ordered pick up order. Ambiance is not applicable either as we had someone else pick up.

Stopped by for the first time on a Sunday, ordered a salami sandwich on sourdough roll with everything on it + peppers & avocados. The staff, was very quick and attentive as soon as I walked in. Terrace Deli is in a shared space with a different business that carries beverages, snacks, etc. Keep in mind, there are no tables to sit and eat. That was not an issue for me as I just wanted a quick take out deli sandwich. At first, it was quite difficult to eat my sandwich since it was fully loaded, but I made a way and needless to say that it was everything that I wanted. The veggies were super fresh. I paired my sandwich with my favorite jalepeno kettle chips and it was just perfect. I paid $23 for 2 sandwiches which I thought was very reasonable.

So happy we stumbled on this little mom-and-pop sandwich shop! The sandwiches are fresh snd yummy! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole place has a cozy, family-run feel that you just don't get at big chains. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back. This sandwich shop may at first seem ordinary, but their sandwiches taste home made and look professional.

I love all places that have a theme that sets them apart from other establishments. Especially ones that have names for their menu items that are jovial. There's ample seating and the place is fun inside, with comic books on the walls, toys displayed and bright colors everywhere it really gives a burst of dopamine when you come in. We were greeted initially by the gentleman at the counter. He was super friendly and asked if we had any questions. Idk bout yall but when we go somewhere and the person refers to you as "boss" you can kinda feel the vibe that you're gonna get good service. And it was exactly spot on. The dude helped us with questions we had and after ordering let us know he'd bring our food to us. We waited a couple mins and our food came out! Initially my first thought was "damn, they're not stingy with their portions here!" We opted for the Goku fries and a regular Deadpool sandwich. It being our first time we wanted to try different flavors. BRUH, that food smacked SO HARD! We slammed everything and kept saying, wow this is good. The ingredients were fresh, the green sauce (whatever it is) was delicious on our sandwich! We will for sure be back & tell all of our friends about this place!

We tried the Ed Edd and Eddy and the Mr. Burns. Both were really good on Dutch crunch. We also customized our sandwiches by adding pickles, banana peppers and onions. We'll be back to try their fries and other sandwiches.

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.

Regarding the viet coffee, this one was particularly strong, with a definite higher proportion of coffee to condensed milk that doesn't offend but also risks being a bit TOO strong (wild to say that when all viet coffee at its core is strong). Parking is always tight in this plaza, but I got lucky on a Saturday afternoon. Bara's was poppin when I walked in. Ordering is quick, the menu is extensive, but the man taking my order was so patient. I went with their Bara's combo special with all the fixin's and had to get their dutch crutch. I love that you can choose the bread, and the Bara's combo is great since you can choose your meat/proteins. Turkey and roast beef were juicy and flavorful. Plus their meats are all halal! Every single ingredient was fresh and high quality. The flavors were unmatched. And the bread was perfectly airy and crunchy, without scraping my entire roof of my mouth. It's embarassing I used to get Ike's when there's sandwich spots like Bara's. They have a whole drinks section, chips, and an open deli display case. There's tons of inside seating, great for coworkers, families, or solo dining. No outdoor seating unfortunately. Most of the waiting time is after you order, so allot a solid 15mins, even if you're just waiting for your one order. Bara's is also Palestinian-owned. So not only are you getting a delicious, HUGE portion'd, but fresh meal, you are also knowingly pouring your hard earned money and labor into supporting a local family-owned business. We noticed two self-service ordering kiosks to the right but decided to check out the menu board and salad case first. When we were done, the cashier asked if she could take our order. That's always my preference over poking buttons on a impersonal screen. We placed our order, paid, and stood aside to wait. My name was called when our order was ready. It was bagged and ready to go. We thanked the cashier and went home. Normally, I'm not a sandwich guy. Today, after working outside in the sun, I was hungry and had a craving for something filling and cold. Macaroni Salad was on my mind. I looked that up on Yelp and Bara's was reasonably close. I also saw a Shrimp Salad that looked pretty good online. When we arrived home, I proceeded to take pictures of our meal. Sigh. Instead of Macaroni Salad, we got Potato Salad. Not quite the same. A quick peek at my receipt and I saw that the wrong key must have been pressed. I should have checked my receipt after I paid. The cashier should have repeated the order before sending it. The Potato Salad didn't satisfy my craving for Macaroni Salad, but I wasn't about to drive back to exchange it. The flavor was unique though, in that it had a cheesy flavor. The Shrimp Salad was not good. Flavor wise, it was okay with a little bit of heat. But texture wise, it was a mess. If Shrimp was supposed to be cooked for two minutes and then dropped into an ice bath, these had been cooked for four minutes and not iced. They were cooked to death. I got a Bay Area Special with Swiss. It was okay. A ton of meat, not so much on the veg. I would prefer more balance. But overall, it was pretty good. She got The Gobbler. She also felt that the meat overwhelmed the veg. Additionally, the cranberry sauce was overwhelmed by the cream cheese. We came, we saw, we ate. It'll be a long while before I go after another sandwich.
