A few notes:
1. We were previous Terminix customers, but we canceled our service a year or more ago or so because of customer service issues.
2. As part of a condition of a re-fi, we needed a Termite Certification. Additionally, since I had concerns about infestation again, I started looking into coverage again and decided to try with Terminix again because I figured perhaps, their issues may have improved.
3. This was a free report so perhaps it's a situation where you get what you pay for, however, before I made a decision to restart our relationship with Terminix, I wanted to put the customer service to the test.
4. All Terminix employees with whom I interacted were always polite, respectful and a special shout out to Alfie (?) the person on the 877 number, who was extremely helpful and courteous.
That said, my Terminix Timeline is as follows:

Q: Does your office/company provide a report or certification stating that my home is now clear of termites?
Q: If yes but there is a fee, what is the fee and how can I pay it so I can get such documentation?

22 Jun 2020@1400 - I come to find that I was in fact charged $299 for a "WDIR Real Estate Inspection". I called the Terminix number and after waiting on hold for 7 minutes, the person on the line reacted as if he could not hear me. I checked to see if my phone was on mute (it was not), and he hung up.
So you win Terminix. The $299 is not worth the time and effort it will take to chase you down, however, this account will be posted on every Social Network page out there and a letter to your corporate HQ with this timeline. read more
