I had a very disappointing experience with Terminix and would not use them again. The main reason I agreed to move forward was because the salesperson represented that the crawlspace/bottom area of my home would be serviced throughout, including the area connected to my gym padding where I had rodent activity. I agreed to finance the service based on that representation. When the technician came out, I was present with him. He only opened the crawlspace access area and placed a few traps near the opening. He did not crawl through the underside of the home or place traps throughout the crawlspace/bottom area as I was told would happen. He also did not lift or inspect under the gym padding area, even though that was connected to the rodent activity. The service ticket stated "traps set in crawlspace," but in my opinion that description was misleading. Placing a few traps near the crawlspace opening is not the same as servicing the crawlspace throughout. Applying foam/sealant outside was also not enough to fix the issue. The rodent problem continued after Terminix's visit, and I had to hire another company to complete the crawlspace work that Terminix did not properly perform. I also financed and paid the agreed amount in full, but later received a collection notice for an additional balance I dispute. I contacted Terminix multiple times asking for an explanation and correction, but I did not receive a proper response. At this point, I am requesting that Terminix correct the disputed balance, remove/recall it from collections, and review my account for a refund because the main service I agreed to pay for was not performed as represented. read more

I was lucky to have Nick and another worker back to the house and install the rubber piece at the bottom of the garage door that seals the opening when it closes. It took a lot longer than they expected since it is really snug. But they managed to get it done in a couple of hours. I would have given 4 stars if I did not have to wait so long. read more

Worst company ever!! Do not use them for bee removal! I paid $3400 to have a hive removed in November 2024. All they did was spay and never removed the hive! We just had Terminix, Miguel, come spray the entire house for ants ($150) 5 days ago, there are still tons of ants. I've deep cleaned the entire house and they continue to come. This service was guaranteed to get rid of the ants for two months, it hasn't even been a week and they are back. We started using terminix about 9 months ago. Kyle has been our tech that comes out. He does an amazing job! I let him know what insects we are having issues with and he takes care of the problem. I will call in between the scheduled quarterly appts if we have any other issues and he's out within days to take care of the problem. In eleven years of living in the same house, this year has been the most challenging and I needed more than my previous pest control companies could offer and my daughter who owns a large business suggested Terminix. Right from the start, all the interactions I had with all the employees was positive. I have been particularly impressed with the service I have had from MIKE. He has been consistently concerned, knowledgeable, professional and very helpfully proactive. My son owns a large law firm and we talk business frequently. Just tonight we discussed that we enjoy doing business with people we enjoy doing business with! Immediately MIKE came to mind and what a pleasure he is in an arena that is less than pleasant for the client!! It makes such a difference when traumatized by an invasion of bugs to interact with someone who is calm, competent and concerned. Will try to keep this short. I purchased a full termite fumigation from Terminix. Salesman scheduled a tenting, and emailed me the contact information for a rep that would be in charge of scheduling, etc. He also warned that winds, incremental weather, etc. could delay or cancel tenting, which was understandable. I also purchased an insurance policy offered by Terminix for $550 to warrant 40 broken tiles, if necessary, ..which i fully expected to occur on my lightweight tile roof. A tech arrived with a drone a shortly thereafter and surveyed the existing roof for any existing damage. It took an hour. I was home to observe. 2 days prior to the proposed tenting, we got word of incoming heavy winds, and some rain. I was concerned, so i tried to contact the rep handling my service. No answer, no returned call. This continued into the next day. I tried to contact the salesman, ...no word. By late afternoon the day prior to the proposed tenting, i had had enough, and contacted corporate to cancel. The next day, i received a call from their local office with excuses on why they couldnt return my call. I acknowledged their issues and explained that i would be going elsewhere. Despite no fumigation work being done, they insisted that the $550 was still due because a man had "shown up". I agreed to pay for the drone pilots visit, but explained that asking for the entire policy payment was like asking for an insurance premium on a car i didnt own, ...or a project that never occured. What did i learn: --Terminix's concerned service extends up to the time documents are signed. After that, service is negligible. Im certain that the crew intending to tent my home simply just would not have shown up. No word would have been given, ...no warning. Considering all of the preparations that my family and i made for this service, that is completely unprofessional. ..And if youve had a termite fumigation done while living in the home, you understand what i mean by preparation, and how extensive it is. --The charge for the full policy was just adding salt to the wound. I was charged for an insurance policy for a project that never occured. Again, i would have understood a bill for the drone pilot's time. But, gauging me for the total premium when no service was provided was just offensive. I do not recommend. Consider DeAnza Termite and Pest Control in Temecula for professional service. read more

Used for termite tenting in Hemet. We thought it was a good value to start, but service turned out to be a nightmare. Had to call multiple times to take care of the basics. When they finally did tent it wasn't Terminix, it was a subcontractor. They broke many tiles on the roof and took no responsibility. Our contact person was invisible most of the time, and didn't stand up for us at all. read more

I called Terminix and asked them to come to my new home to evaluate for rodents, in early October.  Lady on the phone asked for my SS# to run a "Soft credit check", which I provided her.  Then a guy came out to the house while I was at work and put up some mouse traps around the house.  He told me I have up to 120-days to pay for a year service without any interest, or a second year of service for an extra $150 or $180 (Can't remember exactly).  I was under the impression I could make monthly payments (Which comes out to $72 a month), and if I was happy with their services, then I would pay the total within the 120-days.  Employee never told me I was under any contracts, and never told me I could or could not cancel the monthly services.   I never heard from anyone from Terminix after that, never received any updates on work done or rodents, and never saw any rodents around my house (Before or after that initial visit from the Terminix company).   After I did not hear from anyone at Terminix for 2 to 3 weeks, and after I did not see any charges on my credit card, I called first week in November to cancel the services and pay what I owed for the employee to come out TWICE (Again, I'll pay $72 for one month)... I was at work both times and never saw the guy or signed any contracts. On this phone call in early November, I was told on the phone to create a website account (Which I did) in order to see whatever work this Terminix company said they did.  Instead, I saw some pics of the outside of my house while I was remodeling it, and saw a picture of "Two holes" the Terminix employee supposedly sealed off for rodent purposes (But I could not see anything that actually sealed off the holes from the inside or outside, in the two picture).   The lady employee told me, for the first time during this process, that a company by the name of SMAC had paid for my "Finance loan" of $1130, and this company would be billing me directly for the full amount.  This was the first time I heard about any loan being taken out under my name to pay Terminix, and again, I never saw a contract or signed one.   I received a phone call from "SMAC" on 11-5-2021 who was requesting a full payment for their loan.  The employee stated they paid Terminix $1130 and they wanted me to pay the loan back. I told the employee on the phone that I never applied for a loan through them and never asked for their services.  I hung up with the employee from SMAC and called Terminix to cancel ALL my monthly services, and again to pay for the two times a Terminix Employee came out (The $72 monthly payment I thought I owed them).   A female employee told me on the phone on the 5th, that she tried to contact a Manager to cancel, but could not.  She said one will call me back shortly.   A "Mike Cerda" called me a short time later and said he was the Manager, and had no bosses above him.  He said I signed a contract with them (Because I gave them my SS#) and he would not cancel any services, nor did he want to accept a $72 payment (For one month) for the two times his employee came out to my home.   Mike then emailed me a "Contract" which had my last name misspelled, and had someone else' signature (Not even close to my name or how I sign).  I told Mike to cancel everything and that I will not be paying the total on their "Contract" as I was unaware of such a contract, nor that I was aware of another company (SMAC) who paid them $1130 on my behalf.   Even after I pointed out all these things to Mike, lack of my signature on most of the spaces next to my misspelled name, and the two signature they had that were not my name or signature, Mike still refused to cancel "My contract" and expected me to pay the full $1130 to SMAC, and justified it by saying SMAC was the same company as Terminix, even after I told him I knew it was NOT. I asked Mike if he thought the two times his employee came out to my house was worth $1130, and he kept saying I knew about their terms and the loan, because I provided them with my SS#. Soooo, I filed in writing with the BBB and requested for the BBB to investigate this company, and to place my story on their website so everyone knows how big of a scam Terminix is. I have never called a company in my life for services, who intended on having a 3rd party take out a loan on my behalf to pay them, and do such a horrible job of explaining their work OR the payment they are trying to scam out of me. We got our service on January 12th at night and they put traps up in the attic and the next day I went up and checked them myself the guy that service us said u can check them yourself there is no rule just don't throw them away. I checked and none of the traps were baited. I texted the guy that did it he gave me his card never responded and even texted the company number multiple times and they just keep saying someone will contact you soon. And again nothing while telling them that it was a emergency that mice are running around my house I hear them and see them and the traps are not baited so I baited them myself the mice ate it nothing happened. I noticed the box they left up there and it says rat traps. Why use rat traps for mice they don't weigh enough to trigger it. I didn't get a response tell January 23rd from Michael. That's eleven days. So those eleven days I went and bought my own traps cause I have two little kids and the damn mice were in their rooms and went on our kitchen counters and eat thru a bread bag even. I felt so hopeless and lost and no one even cared. I caught 13 mice myself to terminex zero not a single one. My kids are still scared to go to the bath. I just want my full money back for doing all the work. I feel liked we got scammed. If you are not the one to give me my refund then I would like to speak to higher up tell I reach the corporate office. I'm a full time dad and have a full time job and using my own time and work breaks to contact Terminex. read more

I found a bug and showed it to the representative Gabriel, who then told me it was a bedbug and try to rob me for almost $6000 for a heat treatment. I got a second opinion and turns out I don't have any bedbugs that I have a carpet beetle and the bites we were getting were from mosquitoes. read more

Our technician Gilberto is thorough, polite and always lets us know when he is coming texts and phone calls the day before and a text when he is on the way to our house. This is so helpful since we have pets and young children! We don't get ants in the house and do not have a problem with spiders either. When we tried to control them ourselves, this was not the case. Don't use Terminix for termite tenting! They are a terrible company. Rocky came over and gave me a quote. Signed the contract and scheduled the tenting for 2 weeks out on a Monday. Spent the whole weekend double bagging everything in the kitchen, pantry, refrigerator, freezers, bathrooms, etc. I made arrangements to stay with a friend for 2 nights. Monday comes and the gas company doesn't show up to shut off the gas. Rocky had told me they make the arrangements with the gas company for the gas to be shut off. Gas company had no orders to shut it off. Called Rocky to ask him what was going on. After about 3 hours of waiting to find out what's happening, Rocky blames it on the gas company, and said it was a new employee and they didn't get the order in. So they rescheduled to Wednesday. I was not happy. Rocky said they would give me a $200 credit for the inconvenience. After 7 business days I texted Rocky to find out the status of the credit, and he said Terminix needs to see a copy of the hotel bill. I told him I didn't stay in a hotel, that the credit was for the inconvenience. I don't think they had ever had any intention of giving me a credit! They lied! read more

Called the 800 number on the estimate document we received to get some details (no info on the actual document regarding what services would be performed for the $6K estimate). Got unceremoniously dumped from commercial to residential and back to commercial (this is for an HOA) then to sales. Finally, after about 30 minutes (ok, likely an exaggeration), the fourth person to whom I found myself describing what I needed (again, I had been transferred without notice) offered to have the actual technician who gave the estimate, call me "right back"... that was an hour ago. read more

He was prompt, quick, friendly, and gave me suggestions to how to fix some possible points of entry, how to store my pets food, and some simple ways to treat the problem if the ants come back. read more

There tech called on Sunday to let us know he would be out on Wednesday between 3-5 to follow up on our bedbug treatmen. I texted him at 1:21 to find out the time that he would be here never heard back from him. I called the office and they said oh it's set for Friday.
