We have been using Wheeler's Pest Control since we moved to Temecula in 2016. They come out to our house quarterly to spray and when we have had other issues like ants. They are always super professional, kind, and thorough. I love that they are a family owned business who values the customers they have. This week, Joseph came to spray our home. Although nobody was home during his visit, he was very communicative and did a great job per usual. I had a bad bee problem on Tuesday and was stung several times along with my goat and my dog. I was calling around trying find someone to take care of them when I saw a wheelers truck going down a side street to my neighbors ranch. I went over and spoke to the young man in the truck. He said he would be over in 45 minutes to help me. Joseph came over in his bee suit and took care of them. He showed concern for my dog that was currently being stung in his ears. I have had a recurring bee problem at my home for 12 years and after having tried several bee control services over the years I can say that Wheeler's is by far the best! Most recently I contacted Wheeler's on a Friday afternoon with an urgent request for bee control as I have house guests including young children and one who is allergic to bee stings. They scheduled me for Monay at noon and Alfredo arrived right on time. Having delt with Daniel and John from Wheeler's before, I knew that whomever they would send would be friendly and professional. I haven't been home to visit the parental unit due to Covid since January. There was 1 teeny tiny Hornet nest that I was able to get rid of myself - fast forward - to August. 19-20 hives that I could see - and I freaked out. My parents are elderly and an angry hive could potentially cause a very bad day for either of them. I called Bug Man, and was told they could probably get to me today, and said they'd call back- so I called Wheelers!! I'm SO glad that I did!! They scheduled me a 12-3pm show and Alfredo (my hero) showed up about 2:30, and took care of all of it! He was friendly - explained everything to me how it works and took all the hives with him. Let me know there were some stragglers around but would go away once they realized they no longer had a home to go to. We had a rat infestation in our attic and called several exterminators to get estimates. Alfredo from Weeler's Pest Control was the only one who took the time to really crawl through and give the attic an inspection before providing the estimate. They placed traps and sealed the house well to make sure the infestation was controlled before engaging an insulation company for us to do the cleaning and sanitizing of our attic. They placed bait traps around our house to prevent future problems and we have been very happy. read more

I usually do not make bad Yelp reviews. I love to give great reviews to companies to help get them business. However, I am so disappointed with this company. I used them a few years back and was so happy with them! Which is why I am very sad to share my experience this time around. I made an appointment via phone and they set me up with a 4 hour window. I adjusted my work schedule to work from home; however, they never showed. I called the office and they said they wrote my phone # down incorrectly and couldn't get a hold of me; however, they said they knocked on the door. I asked if they rang the doorbell and they said no. I live in a 3 story townhouse; if you "love tap" the door, I will not hear it. Would have been smart of them to at least ring the doorbell if they took the trouble to come all he way out here. In addition, they have caller ID and admitted they could have looked up my phone # from the caller ID when I made the appointment. Why they did not do that, I do not know. I told them how disappointing this was and how they wasted half my day and also wasted their time too! But second changes right? So I decided to reschedule for the following week. Bad idea. They promised me they would email me the day before. They also promised I would get a phone call 20 minutes before. I received neither. I was supposed to be the first service of the day with a window of 2 hours, 8 AM - 10 AM. I called at 9 AM and was told they would be there within 30 minutes. By 10:15 AM, they had not showed up. I called again asking for a ETA and they said they would be there any minute. By 10:25 AM they still had not show up. They were 25 minutes late with a 2 hr window. So I called to cancel. I write this to warn other Yelpers about them. I am sure folks can empathize that it is an inconvenience to change/alter your work schedule. Gave these guys another chance to make it right, and they messed it up. So, I highly recommend using another exterminator service provider that will be on time and do what they say they are going to do. Good luck! read more

2 days ago we had about 20 bees flying around the front of our house. We thought no big deal..we left yesterday morning and we saw none. By the time we came home in the late afternoon there was a basketball size swarm of bees on the side of our house. We tried calling dozens of people but no one could fit us in, luckily we found these guys. Said he would be at our house in 30-45 minutes and he was on time. Very friendly and informative. Price was extremely fair and lower then a few other prices were given over the phone. He Sprayed the bees, cleaned up almost all of them and was on his way. Do not use this company. They came out on 6/26 to remove bees and they did. Our family left for vacation on 7/26 and when we came back the bees were back in the same spot. I called the company to see if they would honor their 30 day guarantee because we had been on vacation and they would not. We would have to pay another $300 to have them come out again. This is my first yelp review because want to warn people about hiring this company. They came out for my rat problem. They are very sneaky about their pricing. Almost $300 to set up traps inside and $300 outside. Your so desperate to get the rats that you pay it. On top of that they said it was $75 to get rid of a rat if it is trapped inside. Turns out that was not true. It is $75 every time they come out to check a trap that went off even if there is no rat. These traps went off several times by themselves and you can reset them yourself so they have to come out. So I paid for them to come out to reset faulty traps? BS! The traps also are not even effective. The company also didn't even go into the attic which apparently would have been an extra charge! I had another company come by a few weeks later after I set up my own traps and bait stations outside. They said that what I was doing is the right path. They also went into the attic as part of their free inspection and include in there $250 price was 3 more visits to check the traps. They ended up only sealing a hole for $50 and telling me to keep up what I'm doing so I didn't even pay that $250. It turns out rats avoid traps and are very smart. Just do it yourself and keep waiting. Another issue was that I called to complain about this and the lady said she never heard this kind of complaint before. I had a feeling she was lying but now I see a yelp review very similar to mine so now I know she's lying. I feel sad for her to have to lie for them. To top all of this off Wheeler charged me twice for two house call $150. The charge is on the same day. A check I sent in to settle with them and they also charged my debit card which they took from me previously. It was on the same day though so clearly a clerical mistake! Very frustrating to have to now call them and get this refunded. The whole thing was a waste of money and time with them! We had been using a previous pest control company and every month still got spiders and things, and their customer service was mediocre, but Wheeler's is really good and we can go for the whole month without any bugs at all! I had a rat problem that caused $45,000 of water damage to my house when a rat ate through several water lines. Daniel and his team responded quickly and set up a trap and bait solution. We immediately caught one but the big boss rat , which my kids called "scratchy" was hiding in the sub flooring between the first and second story. Daniel worked methodically through his plan and shortly thereafter the "Scratchy" was dead. He also sealed up access points around my residence and I started a baiting service with him.
