The best teriyaki for the best price. Friendly staff and quick turn around time. Highly recommend!

I've been here twice, and I don't get the hype. Business seems steady and the reviews are good, but I don't see why. Granted, I've not tried the actual teriyaki so my review is only based on items from the "Chinese" menu. I love Kung Pao Chicken so I thought I'd give it a try. Major disappointment. Rather than stir fried chunks of chicken with some veggies, peppers and some level of spice. What I got was small deep fried chunks of chicken that were red and had no spice, no veggies, and no peanuts. Disappointing. We tried the chicken yakisoba. It was okay but not any better than what one would get at a grocery store buffet. Then there was the orange chicken. Thought I would try something that is hard to mess up. I was wrong. Soggy deep fried chicken chunks in some sort of sauce that had an essence of orange, but overall very little flavor. Some salt or soy sauce would have helped during the cooking process. Employees are friendly and they work quickly, but I won't be back. read more

I just moved to Arlington and I have ordered take-out from this place four times over the last two weeks. I'm not one to eat the same thing over and over, but everything is so so SO good. Their meat tastes especially fresh and never overcooked or dry. Their staff at the register is incredibly friendly and delighted to be of service. I've had a few types of their teriyaki, tempura, and yakisoba and it is all amazing. You won't be disappointed. read more

Seriously? This is a restaurant that's nearly unanimously praised with five-star reviews? This place is worth three stars, meaning it's completely average, because that's what it is. Teriyaki restaurants are everywhere, they're easy to maintain, and they're cheap. Except this one isn't even that cheap, so I'm really being generous even with a three-star rating. Located near Exit 206 on I-5 and the Best Western hotel that looms over this restaurant, Teriyaki Point offers no innovation while asking for above average prices, which is the problem. I ordered a chicken and beef teriyaki; this came with the usual rice and salad. Portions were not that big, so this should not have come out to more than eleven dollars. They were fast with their service, though; I'll give them that. However, they might even be a little too fast because there's no way they could realistically prepare that food fresh in the two minutes that elapsed between me placing the order and them bringing it to the table. Arlington has a couple teriyaki joints, but this one is by far the best in taste, portion sizing, and cleanliness. Being the lazy, hungry individual that I am, I determine my spending on ease of parking lot navigation and the fastest stop possible, enabling me to stuff my face as quickly as I can. This place is located in a small strip mall with generous parking, so its food already gets a few passes -- but it surely doesn't need it! Service was friendly, and though I don't use it, the dining area is always sparkly clean with no mystery sticky spots or food crumbles. The rice is on point and both the chicken and beef are tender and lean. I always have to ask for extra sauce at other teriyaki restaurants but I don't here! Teriyaki Point had great service. Though they were busy they managed to handle both to-go-orders and dine in without neglecting anyone. I found it to be a little over priced at first but quickly changed my mind once I saw the portion size. You can easily share a meal. We ordered the gyoza, egg rolls, spicy chicken, orange chicken, and sweet & sour chicken. Gyoza- had a nice sear on the skin and the meat was seasoned well. Egg Rolls- filling was tasty but it was hard to get past the soggy greasy wrapper. Spicy Chicken- Spice level was between a 2 & 3 stars. Cooked to perfection with nice caramelized bits. Served with the standard white rice and salad. Cashier was offered more sauce/dressing if needed at no extra cost. Orange Chicken- The flavor was excellent but once again the breading was soggy. I think they either let it sit in grease too long or it was over sauced. Served with white rice. Sweet and Sour Chicken- Chicken was cooked well with a nice crunch to the breading. Just enough tang to the sweet and sour sauce. I would go again but would share a meal and skip the egg rolls. read more

Not a huge fan of this teriyaki. I think they marinate their chicken, grill it up and serve it. I like the teriyaki places that actually grill their chicken and have that sweet teriyaki sauce drizzled all over the chicken! And It seems like the gyoza dipping sauce is a teriyaki sauce! read more

What an awesome find right next to the Best Western Plus. Unsure where to go I decided to just go across the driveway and eat dinner at Teriyaki Point. I wasn't sure what to expect as we have some very good teriyaki style take out places in Hawaii but I decided to "chance um". Am I glad I did. I ordered the Teri chicken and tempura combo plate which was $15.95. OMG it was one of the best dinners ever. The teriyaki chicken had a delicious teriyaki flavor and the tempura was cooked perfectly and still hot. The plate also included a lot of rice and a nice sized serving of iceberg lettuce salad with a dressing. The food was excellent and I couldn't believe how much was on the plate. There were 10 pieces of tempura (3 shrimp, 2 sweet potato, 2 broccoli pieces, 2 carrots and 2 onion ring tempura) and a huge amount of Teri chicken. It was tasty and definitely worth every penny. read more

Important: check the address before calling to order. This store is in Arlington, WA. If people don't show up then they lose money on the order. Apparently this has happened lately. The food is usually very good however you might want to check your bill. I tried pointing out a mistake that the cashier made when I asked for an extra portion of chicken she charged me for the beef. It wasn't a big deal but her attitude was like I was doing something wrong by pointing out the mistake. It took me three time to explain it to her and she got mad that I asked for the 1.09 she over charged. Poor customer service and attitude. read more

Ate here for the first time tonight. It compared to other teriyaki restaurants that I have eaten at in the past. I have never had a bad experience with teriyaki food and this was another positive experience to add to the list. I will definitely be back when I am craving teriyaki again in the future. I had the chicken katsu and it was very good. There was a lot of food for a very reasonable price. I have half of the meal left over so that means I don't have to worry about lunch tomorrow either. When you can get two meals out of 9$ that is a good deal to me! I walked in right when they were closing (8:30pm) and I was not turned away. With general food quality in the area being mediocre at best I came here to eat without much expectations. Well turns out they have the best Beef Teriyaki I have tried in many years. This was OK. I liked the Chicken Breast teriyaki and the portion was good. The Won Ton soup was another matter. The chicken was tender and well prepared and the sauce was definitely on point. This is Washington and there are a lot of teriyaki places to choose from. This was above average so I'll say that I would definitely order it again. What I won't order again is the Won Ton. I love won ton soup and my wife makes it for me at home when she has time, which is nowhere near as often as I'd like but it's great when she does. The reason she doesn't have time very often is because it takes a lot of time to make the filling and then fold those little won ton noodle envelopes. We also grind our own pork for the filling which adds to the time. When I eat out, I usually expect something better than average since I'm paying for it. These guys clearly used frozen pot stickers to make theirs. A lot of places do this and some of them make some really good broth and add some great veggies which ends up being a solid product. These guys used some sort of fish cakes that made the whole thing taste fishy. I couldn't get a read on the broth because the fish flavor was overwhelming. I don't think I've had fish cakes in won ton anywhere else I've eaten and I will say I really didn't care for it at all. The veggies were OK but nothing exceptional. The froze pot stickers were really not very good. I think I can identify the brand because i bought them once at the Grocery Outlet and ended up pitching them. Bottom line: Teriyaki yes! Soup No! This place is trash . When I was given the wrong order all they did was said I was lying about it . I paid for my food on a 14 hour work shift to get the wrong food and just completely messed up the mood 10/10 would never recommend. The last three times I've been here I have gotten the tofu teriyaki. I ask for it well done (crispy but not burnt). Every single time it's been cooked differently. One time it was burnt, one time it was soggy, one time it was crispy on the ends. Very frustrating when you have to go home and finish cooking your food the way you want it cooked. My boyfriend and I used to eat here a lot and we both loved it, but one time my boyfriend was ordering and he said to go when I actually wanted to eat it there, so like 10 seconds after he orders I go up and say oh can we have that for here? And this girl(that is the only one I've ever seen at the register and I've been kind to many times) literally looks at me with disgust and rolls her eyes while she changes what it says on our tags.
