Service was a little rocky at the beginning since it took a bit for someone to come over to us but everything was smooth from there. I got salmon and filet mignon and it was pretty good and I still had so much left to take home! The crisp on the salmon was perfect without it being dried out. The steak was cooked a bit too well for my liking, but wasn't tough so it's fine. If I could recommend one item to get and one to skip for sure: get the shumai (like 3 servings) and skip the lycheetini. A good time overall.

I normally like the tonkatsu but here I'd go with the soy based ramen which has a nice rich flavor. Generous portion of noodles. After seeing the menu, I decided to try their chicken katsu instead while my fiancé tried the beef ramen. We also got two medium bubble teas. Both drinks came out first. For mediums, they were pretty small (especially with a $7 price tag). I will say though, my creme brûlée oreo tea was incredible. I absolutely loved the flavor and the oreo in it. Still pricey but at least it was good. My fiancé ramen came out shortly after and we weren't too impressed. The beef broth was a muted color which looked more like miso. He said the noodles were sticky and pretty soft. I waited about 15 minutes until my chicken katsu came out (we were the only ones in there so it wasn't busy) and it looked promising... Good crunch but seems like chicken thighs were used as there was a good amount of fat in it. It quickly became kinda inedible because of how much sauce was covering the whole dish. I'm a sauce girly and love my condiments, but this was just so excessive. I asked for a box to go and maybe my fiancé will finish it later lol. The girl was so sweet and even offered MORE sauce to go, but i quickly declined. Overall, may be back for the teas if it's payday. Would not try the food again.

The menu had lots of options and something for everyone . I ordered the iced tiramisu latte and the ricotta hotcakes with Nutella and bananas . Which was amazing , very light and delicious ( I normally don't eat all my food because of large portions .. but I was given 3 ricotta hotcakes and I ate everything!! It was sooo good , very light and filling , highly recommend ! My sister ordered the VEGAN kimichi bowl which was really good as well . My mom ordered the mango soufflé pancakes which i tried and def worth the drive to try . Very light and fluffy cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. !! And presentation was beautiful My husband ordered the Korean fried chicken and waffles ! The waffles came in rose shape which was beautiful 10/10 for the presentation and taste . Again the fired chicken was still light ( and not to heavy ) Overall 10/10 great staff , great atmosphere and even better the food was delicious ( with lots of options and variety for everyone). Definitely worth the 40 min drive and I will definitely be back again !!!

It's a scallion pancake and it is stuffed with sausage and eggs. It is so delicious and satisfying. It comes with a side of sweet potato fries, and of course my daughter loved that. Also I wanted to shout out the waiters, who are really nice and attentive! The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that they don't have pastries! I wonder why. I ordered 9 sushi rolls for my family (yes, we can eat, lol). It was a variety of rolls, can't remember all the names; I remember my favorites, and those were the shrimp tempura, eel avocado, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and Philadelphia rolls. The person on the phone said they will call me when the order is ready in 45 minutes; I thought that was odd because I never had a place say that. The restaurant is in a quiet plaza and looked like it was a sit in restaurant at one point but turned into a takeout only place. They also gave us a couple egg rolls and crab rangoons for free; it was okay and had little to no filling, but I guess it's the thought that counts. The sushi was fresh, tasty, and CHEAP. I read that if you order sushi too late, they can run out. We got all our sushis and was very impressed by the quality and quantity for the price. This is definitely my new favorite sushi spot. I can't wait to try out their other menu items. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend.

Kyoto... Saturday…read morenight check-in, and there were just a few patrons inside the restaurant, and takeout was slow The menu consisted of appetizers, soups, salads, ramen, hibachi, sushi, sashimi, rolls, and signature rolls Our order went in for two appetizers, one was the pan seared dumplings, and also some fried crab rangoon For the main course, my friend had the shrimp curry ramen, and I ordered a specialty roll called a momoirio roll, and an order of salmon sashimi I also ordered one of those peach ramune drinks After a short wait, the two appetizers arrived. The pan seared dumplings were absolutely delicious, and I would definitely get again. The crab Rangoon to me was a little bit off and flavorless. Also, it wasn't deep fried enough, so it was a little bit spongy and tough, instead of crunchy on the outside with an exploding filling My friend loved the curry shrimp ramen, which had a very generous portion of shrimp included. The salmon sashimi I had appeared to have been colored a deeper hue, which tells me it was probably farm raised. It also was very oily, and very hard to pick up with the chopsticks. I had to fork it. The salmon was also room temperature, which kind of set up a little warning for me like maybe it was a gas station sushi.... I ate it. It was meh The signature roll I ordered was terrible in presentation. It looked like it was wrapped in human skin and kind of grossed me out. The signature roll also had some type of white sauce, spritzed over the top of it, which was not appealing to my eyes. Flavor wise, there was none! I could only taste cucumber. I couldn't taste the lobster, I couldn't taste any other flavors in it. There were some black stuff on top that was crunchy. I didn't know what it was. I had to go back to the menu to see the other ingredients. And as far as the white sauce... I couldn't even imagine a flavor. As for service, the server we had seemed a little bit inexperienced. When I questioned some of the items on the menu, she had no answer and she had to go get a menu to read to me what was included in it. While she kept our water glasses full, she never asked if we wanted a dessert or tea What would have been a nice touch, but missing should've been some noodles with dipping sauce. That didn't happen. Also, maybe some complementary tea while we were looking at the menu would've been nice... Other than around the checkout- pick up-workstation, this restaurant was sparse and lacking decor. It also seemed like there was a lot of wasted space Somehow, I just was expecting more like some typical and traditional Japanese style. Boy was I wrong. As far as a date night atmosphere to remember, dining here isn't it. This place could offer the town so much more, as it seems like it could be so comfortable to hang out here have a few cocktails and enjoy a nice traditional Japanese dinner. But it misses the mark. I'm so on the fence with the rating. It definitely isn't a five piece. It's not even a four star. Parking is plentiful in the plaza. For $72 with the tip, and without alcoholic beverages; I think this visit was not a value. Fair service, no ambience, very limited menu... so reluctantly I give it three stars It just seemed like I didn't feel welcomed. When leaving, I paid a little compliment to one of the young males behind the register and he just seemed to take it with a grain of salt like in one ear and out the other....not even a thank you In closing this place is best for takeout

The menu is decent, with various ramen, hibachi, sushi, and appetizers. We enjoyed the shrimp tempura, avocado, and sweet potato rolls, all with six pieces each. Of the ramen, we had the shoyu chicken, vegetarian and wonton (all tasty though more toppings would have been good especially vegetables); the wonton had a thick skin so they didn't fall apart in the broth - I liked this but others thought it was too thick. Much of the food had an unexpected sweet flavoring. We also enjoyed the seaweed salad and vegetable gyoza though the latter weren't big pieces. The packaging of the ramen was effective because the toppings were separated from the broth to prevent sogginess. The ambiance of the location feels pretty sparse with a lot of white space. No one was in the establishment when we picked up the food, given a Sunday evening and holiday. The vibe felt like more of a casual quick meal or takeout vs. someplace to linger and bask in the atmosphere. They also had a kiosk to order and pay in the store if you don't feel like talking with anyone. When ordering, we didn't create an account so didn't get a notification about when the order would be ready. But they say 20 minutes on the website and it was ready when we arrived. The plaza has Fitzgeralds, CVS and Jersey Mike's.

Our server was very courteous and professional, but not around a lot. The tables had an ordering qr code but it was a little tricky to put in items. She eventually took our order and the pace of food was very quick. We got a lot of bites from this place. The best would be the skewers. Beef was tender and seasoned well, the chicken thigh was perfectly cooked and had a light sauce applied to give it a bit more umami. The sausage skewer was the weakest bite out of the skewers, but only because it had flavor but not as much as the other two. Next best was the karrage chicken. Crispy and moist chicken with a mayo dipping sauce. I don't recall the flavors of the dripping sauce because it was pretty much kewpie mayo with stuff added and the stuff could not overpower the mayo. So the chicken was good, not the sauce. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing. A nice reprieve from the grease of the chicken. The yakitori was the weakest bite. Octopus was overcooked, the bonito was surprisingly weak in fishy or smoky flavors, and the drizzle of eel sauce and kewpie mayo added nothing to the flavor. The inside was creamy, but that was the only positive.we did try the sushi, but it was removed from the bill so I'm not including it in my review. For 68 bucks, the quality for the price was not quite in sync. It's not bad, but pricy for what you get. It's not a place I would seek out, but it's got a fun name.

I did not try them, but I was told they were worth it, so maybe I will go back & taste test the two & give you more detail... and yes, I will be going back.
