    The table balancing dirty napkins.
    Tushar S.

So in full disclosure, I haven't been to a PF Chang's in over 12 years. Wife was away and kids wanted "Asian" food so I thought I'd give it a try. All in all, the rating is fairly spot on. Cons: no rollups when we got to our table and only had 1 until well after the apps got to table (I sled 3 times). Table wobbled more than a top just before falling and they said there was nothing they could do as there was already a (very dirty) napkin under the leg. The food was decent. Kids had chicken teriyaki and chicken lo mein which they both liked. The "fruit cup" was just a. Sliced orange which was a bit odd for a cup and nothing like the pictures. The dumplings were a hit with the kids so much so they didn't leave me any but the tempura roll sushi was meh at best. Btw, no soy sauce with roll and I had to ask for it? As to my meal, the spicy chicken hit well and the fried rice was nice enough. The old fashioned was one of the best I ever had at a restaurant and came with a smoke finish that they released at the table though the Mai tai was passable at best with an odd cloying flavor. Ambiance here looks nice unless you look too closely at the only tables and chairs and issues that are hidden under the dark setting. All in all this is a solid 3. Don't expect a home run but don't expect a failure, just mediocrity at best. On a side note, they messed up desert by taking to wrong table and it took so long I just canceled the dish (I had asked and was told of the issue). How the hell does a "runner" do that and not realize at any point they messed up and how does the waitress not immediately bring out a replacement on the house when she realizes the issue and the length of time it's been??? Server fail there IMO.

P.F. Chang's - West Hartford, CT I had never been here before, and I tried the teriyaki chicken--I was pleasantly surprised! My husband had plenty of food too. We got it with lo mein, and it was so yummy. A really solid spot for a tasty, satisfying meal.

The extra sweet American Chinese selections. Their popular crispy chicken with lettuce always pleases. This time it was the Singapore street noodles and Mongolian style beef. All on the sweetee side. Ambience is good... a bit too dark. Staff is attentive but confused.

3.5 stars. 1 entree was excellent (chicken) and 1 Was overcooked and dry (Mongolian beef). Ribs appetizer were off the charts good! Egg rolls didn't excite me - inside was too mushy. Egg drop soup was "different" but served piping hot and good. We did the feast for 2 and paid for the upgraded entrees; Mongolian beef and Spicy chicken. Also paid for the lo mein upgrade over rice. That's $15 in upgrades plus $17 for the ribs. The lo nein was so uninspiring and bland. No veggies, garnishes, nothing!. Pricy Chinese food! The Mongolian beef looked amazing in pics but ours was so overcooked it was crispy! And dry. That's half our meal and we paid extra for it. Oh well! Server was pretty good and we had a reservation but still waited like 10 minutes. 1 drink and we were at $95 before tip for Chinese lunch for 2. With 1 overcooked entree. It's a shame because the ribs and chicken were off t he charts good.

Service was great. We sat at the bar and had a great experience. The food was so delicious. The shrimp dumplings were a 10/10. The pork a 8/10. The sauce that comes with it compliments it well. The atmosphere was just right.

PF Changs is a bit of a let down each time I go. The last time was a few years ago so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, big mistake. The drinks were good. We had the pear mojito and rising dragon. I loved the black salt rim on the rising dragon! It was a delicious addition to the drink. I didn't get any pear in the pear mojito. It just tasted like a regular drink which was refreshing but underwhelming. Service was okay! Scooby (?) was super attentive and friendly. The food isn't anything special unfortunately. We tried the chef's feast which included a soup each, app for the table, and entree each for $20. It's definitely affordable but food isn't a hit or miss. I got the teriyaki chicken and it was VERY sweet. It didn't help that there were pineapples in the mix as well. The rice mellowed it out a bit but yeah, just too sweet for me. The egg rolls were a great appetizer and had a good crunch. I didn't not enjoy the egg drop soup. I think this is a decent spot if you're looking for an affordable meal in Westfarms but not worth going out of your way for.

Got lunch here with a friend after shopping in the mall. The food and drinks were delicious!

Ordered the Rising Dragon cocktail with crab Rangoon, Mongolian beef and a side of friend rice. Crab Rangoon wasn't too creamy and the beef was tasty, just wish the scallion were cut smaller. The rice was bland. The drink was the best thing Our sever was prompt and friendly in the bar area.

I used to love coming to PF Changs as a kid so I was excited to try it again but it was a big disappointment, the quality has definitely gone down from what I remember. We came on a Saturday night and it was busy so we had to wait a little even with a reservation but that was no big deal. The restaurant is dim and well decorated with plenty of booths The wait staff were really nice but obviously spread thin. It took a while for our waiter to introduce themself and then took a while to bring out our waters. We ordered an appetizer and when another staff member brought it out they realized we never got silverware so they promptly brought some. It then took a long time for our entrees to come out. My group all agreed that the food quality wasn't great. One of us got an Asian Caesar with salmon and felt the fish the fish didn't taste fresh. The fried rice entree wasn't very flavorful and the rice was hard. I had the salt and pepper prawns which were actually very good but I upgraded my side to the lo mein and it was literally just oily noodles with nothing else, definitely not worth the up charge. I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I ever eat at this chain.

So happy we decided to try it! The restaurant had great lighting and cute decor. We decided to sit at the bar which was empty. My friend ordered a Whiskey Sour off the late night happy hour menu and he said it was good. As for food, it was so tasty and just got better with every bite. I ordered the okoyadon rice bowl which was chicken, egg and scallions over rice. It was so delicious. It was very hot when it first came out but once it cooled down a little bit, the flavor was amazing. My friend got yakiudon noodles with beef and the flavor was great. We ordered the spring rolls off the happy hour menu. I've had better spring rolls elsewhere, but it was nice to have on the happy hour menu. For dessert, we ordered the lychee sherbet and the sweet potato cheesecake. I loved the lychee sherbet...powerful flavor and I couldn't stop eating it. The sweet potato cheesecake had good flavor if you really like sweet potato, but I thought it was a little dry. I would absolutely come back and try other dishes and drinks. Also the bartender, Sarah, was so lovely, made us feel welcomed and I loved her vibe.

Sapporo Premium Beer is Japan's oldest beer brand, founded in Hokkaido in 1876 by brewer Seibei Nakagawa. Known for a crisp, refined taste with a clean, dry finish, it is a pilsner-style lager (roughly 4.7-5.2% ABV) frequently packaged in iconic silver cans. It pairs well with Japanese food and is known for its high-quality ingredients and brewing standards. It was founded in 1876 during Japan's Meiji-era modernization in Hokkaido, it is the nation's first and oldest beer. The world headquarters of Sapporo Breweries is in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo, and it also operates a renowned museum in Sapporo. As for taste, it's a golden-colored, light-to-medium-bodied lager with mild bitterness, a subtle sweet malt aroma, and a sharp finish.. While technically a Japanese beer, many cans sold in the U.S. are brewed in places like Escondido, California, and Richmond, Virginia, Key products include Sapporo Premium Lager, Sapporo Black, and Yebisu. This is THE beer to have with this cuisine (Chengdu or Szechuan). This is good! It's ice cold too! For our appetizers, we are having the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings and Spicy Flavored Jelly Noodles which are dressed in scallions, ginger, garlic, celery and cilantro. These are good! They come with soy sauce. The noodles are made from mong beans. Mung beans (Vigna radiata) are small, green legumes native to India, widely cultivated in Asia, and known as green gram or moong bean. They are a highly nutritious, versatile ingredient, rich in protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, used in both savory dishes (soups, curries, noodles) and sweet desserts, often sprouted for increased nutritional value. Mung beans are easy to cook, require little to no presoaking, and offer health benefits like antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. I am also having the Seafood Hot and Sour Soup (small size). This seafood soup is good! Not too spicy! It's similar to the standard Chinese hot and sour soup in taste. For my entree, i'm having the Sliced Chicken with Crunchy Rice. This is made with chicken slices, crunchy rice, black fungus, ginger, scallions, garlic, pickled chili peppers, lettuce and pea sprouts. They fold the crispy rice and put it on top. This is piping hot! Spicy too! For dessert, we are having a Chocolate Truffle (made with Zabione cream center surrounded by chocolate gelato and caramelized hazelnuts topped with cocoa powder), Cappuccino Truffle (made with cappuccino gelato with a heart of espresso covered with coffee flavored merinique sprinkles) and Capps Pistachio (custard gelato swirled with chocolate and pistachio gelato ago topped with praline pistachios). Zabaione (or zabaglione) is a classic Italian dessert made from whipped egg yolks, sugar, and sweet wine (traditionally Marsala) cooked gently over a double boiler until light, foamy, and custard-like. It can be served warm as a sauce over fruit or cookies, or chilled as a standalone dessert, often garnished with berries or biscotti. The name comes from the Venetian word for "whipped," reflecting its airy texture. These are absolutely great!
