WE LOVE THIS P.F. Chang's! We had a party of 7 on a Friday night! We were seated promptly. Our server Amit was attentive and helpful. The service was amazing! The Manager Dan really was the life of the restaurant: Serving food and talking to all of us! He was great!!!!! He even served us a free appetizer of the Fried Green Beans which were delicious and we enjoyed them so much! It was a great touch! We love this restaurant. I tend to eat cleaner, even the tofu was fried, but our waitress was so accommodating & not in a patronizing way. She truly wanted us to be happy with our experience. We arrived for lunch, but decided to go with the chefs feast option to get more bang for our buck. It offered a 3 course meal for 14.99 but both people at the table have to get it because the deal is geared for two. I ordered chicken & broccoli (modified) because the menu selection was actually beef & broc. My choice was salad which comes with a sesame dressing & up charge for fried rice. My guest ordered hot & sour soup, crispy honey shrimp (premium) with lo mein (premium) & we ordered the pork eggrolls for the table. (included). I also tried the strawberry cucumber drink which was very good, but I needed to water it down a bit because I am sensitive to sweet. The broccoli was crisp & everything was very good. Hannah our waitress was perfect! We signed up for their rewards program which includes 10% off your meal. However, our waitress came back with $10 off & told us they were running a NEW promo that had just started.. yay for us. I usually include the bathrooms, overall cleanliness, music level, etc.. all the things that that add to the overall experience, but they were all neutral. The bathroom was OK, although it could use a touch up.. the music was eh, but not too loud... None of which seemed to add or diminish the experience. What I didn't comment on was the seats, they were already low, so being overly worn & squishy put you that much lower, but they weren't uncomfortable. So in full disclosure, I haven't been to a PF Chang's in over 12 years. Wife was away and kids wanted "Asian" food so I thought I'd give it a try. All in all, the rating is fairly spot on. Cons: no rollups when we got to our table and only had 1 until well after the apps got to table (I sled 3 times). Table wobbled more than a top just before falling and they said there was nothing they could do as there was already a (very dirty) napkin under the leg. The food was decent. Kids had chicken teriyaki and chicken lo mein which they both liked. The "fruit cup" was just a. Sliced orange which was a bit odd for a cup and nothing like the pictures. The dumplings were a hit with the kids so much so they didn't leave me any but the tempura roll sushi was meh at best. Btw, no soy sauce with roll and I had to ask for it? As to my meal, the spicy chicken hit well and the fried rice was nice enough. The old fashioned was one of the best I ever had at a restaurant and came with a smoke finish that they released at the table though the Mai tai was passable at best with an odd cloying flavor. Ambiance here looks nice unless you look too closely at the only tables and chairs and issues that are hidden under the dark setting. All in all this is a solid 3. Don't expect a home run but don't expect a failure, just mediocrity at best. On a side note, they messed up desert by taking to wrong table and it took so long I just canceled the dish (I had asked and was told of the issue). How the hell does a "runner" do that and not realize at any point they messed up and how does the waitress not immediately bring out a replacement on the house when she realizes the issue and the length of time it's been??? 3.5 stars. 1 entree was excellent (chicken) and 1 Was overcooked and dry (Mongolian beef). Ribs appetizer were off the charts good! Egg rolls didn't excite me - inside was too mushy. Egg drop soup was "different" but served piping hot and good. We did the feast for 2 and paid for the upgraded entrees; Mongolian beef and Spicy chicken. Also paid for the lo mein upgrade over rice. That's $15 in upgrades plus $17 for the ribs. The lo nein was so uninspiring and bland. No veggies, garnishes, nothing!. Pricy Chinese food! The Mongolian beef looked amazing in pics but ours was so overcooked it was crispy! And dry. That's half our meal and we paid extra for it. Oh well! Server was pretty good and we had a reservation but still waited like 10 minutes. 1 drink and we were at $95 before tip for Chinese lunch for 2. With 1 overcooked entree. PF Changs is a bit of a let down each time I go. The last time was a few years ago so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, big mistake. The drinks were good. We had the pear mojito and rising dragon. I loved the black salt rim on the rising dragon! It was a delicious addition to the drink. I didn't get any pear in the pear mojito. It just tasted like a regular drink which was refreshing but underwhelming. Service was okay! Scooby (?) was super attentive and friendly. The food isn't anything special unfortunately. We tried the chef's feast which included a soup each, app for the table, and entree each for $20. It's definitely affordable but food isn't a hit or miss. I got the teriyaki chicken and it was VERY sweet. It didn't help that there were pineapples in the mix as well. The rice mellowed it out a bit but yeah, just too sweet for me. The egg rolls were a great appetizer and had a good crunch. I didn't not enjoy the egg drop soup. I think this is a decent spot if you're looking for an affordable meal in Westfarms but not worth going out of your way for. read more

We were seated at the bar and there was NO HEAT a couple of the employees said it has not been working for a few days . Not good when it is 7 degrees out. I brought this problem to the attention of the manager and he said it was being repaired. I inquired further and asked him if someone was repairing the problem now on the roof . He said no but he has put in a work order for the problem . It seems to me that when someone is spending 148.00 for lunch they shouldn't have to eat it freezing to death. The manager needs to do his job better. Our hostess brought our party of 3 to a table with 2 chairs next to the bathroom in an otherwise empty restaurant. Our waiter, Angel, who we had once before (and remembered for his terrible service) was so high and forgot soooo many things. We did get to listen to him flirt with two girls and literally do tarot cards with them while we waited for our appetizer, and later, rice. This location is not properly managed. I used to love coming to PF Changs as a kid so I was excited to try it again but it was a big disappointment, the quality has definitely gone down from what I remember. We came on a Saturday night and it was busy so we had to wait a little even with a reservation but that was no big deal. The restaurant is dim and well decorated with plenty of booths The wait staff were really nice but obviously spread thin. It took a while for our waiter to introduce themself and then took a while to bring out our waters. We ordered an appetizer and when another staff member brought it out they realized we never got silverware so they promptly brought some. It then took a long time for our entrees to come out. My group all agreed that the food quality wasn't great. One of us got an Asian Caesar with salmon and felt the fish the fish didn't taste fresh. The fried rice entree wasn't very flavorful and the rice was hard. I had the salt and pepper prawns which were actually very good but I upgraded my side to the lo mein and it was literally just oily noodles with nothing else, definitely not worth the up charge. I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I ever eat at this chain. read more

I have never had PFChang's before a catered lunch at my work recently. It was very good and I decided to go the restaurant last night. IT WAS TERRIBLE. The food was poorly prepared and the service was terrible. The bill was over 100 dollars with tip. The portion size was not worth the money. The bus person was walking on the banquet and talking over the wall to the bartender. Where was the manager.? We needed to find our servicer and found her sitting on the counter of the host's station. Yes I tipped her because it is not her fault that she is so poorly trained. I love P.F Changs and this location is no exception. My service pup in his bag was welcome. The place was clean, well decorated and felt comfortable to be in. The servers were great about our tables preferences with the food. Everything came on time and was well cooked, not one mistake made. We were recommended a meat we've never tried (the orange chicken) and im happy we listened to our server! I recommend if you're in the area to stop by and eat here for sure. Truly terrible. I remember going to PF Changs as a teenager (circa 2006) and thinking it was actually good and somewhat upscale as far as restaurant chains go. I hadn't been in ages and was looking forward to revisiting. What the hell happened to this place? Reservations on their website apparently don't matter we had to wait 30 mins regardless. Awful music blasting right above us like it's a club. Awful cocktails. I'm not even sure there was any alcohol in my drink. I'm sure there wasn't and I basically paid $10 for straight ginger beer. Place overall felt dirty. Couple tables next to us were sitting there a complete mess for quite a while until someone finally cleaned them up. They brought out all of our food: soup, app and entrees all literally at same time. Prob microwaved all of it. The entrees were horrible especially the Mongolian beef. Dry as hell and the rice was very undercooked to the point it was hard/crunchy. I honestly considered sending it back but didn't bother. Had to tell our server to take plates away from the table even after I stacked them up and set them to the side. I wasn't expecting a Michelin experience, but Christ that was really bad. I can confidently say I'll never go to pf Changs again. Horrible chain. Avoid. read more

the only pf changs in CT and we all were so excited to try it. I have heard a lot pf good things about the food here and couldn't wait anymore. So we went on a weekday evening, the ambiance was super amazing and calming. The drinks selection was huge and we tried pomegranate lemonade, rising dragon and mango tea. All were amazing and unique. I especially want to highlight pomegranate lemonade. Strongly recommend that. For food, we tried the korean fried chicken with 4 different sauces, honey chicken with rice, sesame beef with rice, spicy chicken with lo mein and I ordered the korean style cauliflower, Mongolian tofu with lo mein. The korean fried chicken was great. The honey chicken had a lot of breading but less chicken. The spicy chicken was great and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the sesame beef with rice. But everyone was collectively not very happy with rice as they said it was hard and not cooked properly which is a big turn off in any asian place. On the other hand, I was the one who ordered the most delicious food. Even though it was vegetarian, the korean style cauliflower was absolutely delicious. It wasn't fried, just cooked in the delicious, flavourful slightly spicy sauce with a few vegetables was the most amazing appetiser and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavours and presentation. The mongolian tofu was cut in small cubes and fried in their very famous mongolian beef seasoning and sauce. It was also recommended by the host and it lived up to the taste and hype. Came here on a whim while at the mall. When we arrived the place was pretty empty, never a good sign. The server was nice enough and pretty prompt with drinks and taking the order. But the place felt dirty, tables were sticky, lint and dust on all the walls, light fixtures, etc. thr tables and decor were very worn out and in need of a remodel. The guy that brought our entrees had nails over an inch long past his finger tip and they were also dirty, gross! The food was just okay, nothing to rave about. We stopped in after doing some shopping in the mall for a redemption experience. my very first PF Chang meal came from an airport and I was very disappointed so I had not been to one since. However, the Westfarm mall location is really good. I sat at the bar on a busy Saturday night. I let the staff know that I have a seafood allergy and the bartender was so great at making sure there was no cross-contamination. He even brought out an allergy friendly menu for me to review, but my allergy allowed me to have the chicken lo mein with no problems, and it was delicious. The chef even came out to talk to me about how the meal is prepared and if the preparation could potentially cause problems. The noodles were prepared exactly how I liked them. The chicken was a bit on the thinner side and I felt the portion of chicken was on the smaller side but, I definitely plan to come back. I was even given a coupon to get the lettuce eggroll appetizer for free if I return. I was not impressed however with the bathroom. I'm not sure how they rotate who checks the bathroom to see if it's up to par but maybe they should do it more frequently I went in to wash my hands and take a potty break and I noticed there was vomit on the ground in one of the stalls. No fault of the staff. I'm sure, however, whoever is supposed to keep up with the bathroom may need to check a little bit more frequently. read more

I've eaten here several times and always had a great experience. Stopped in for lunch craving the Korean dry rub ribs. Ordered those and some honey chicken which is a staple here. Everything was super oily - the ribs were greasy and left a puddle of oil on the plate. The chicken was the same and the fried rice was flavorless. Haven't been here in a bit - also could have been an off day. Several reviews lately have similar comments - might be going down hill. Been quite some time since dining at their White Plains NY location but the taste is consistent. Half an order of chicken lettuce wraps was the perfect amount. The sauce that it comes with takes the wrap to another level of tastiness. Split a dinner sized order of crispy honey chicken and white rice with the kids. My only complaint is the little rice noodles get all over the food which my kids did not care for. Place is your standard pf. Changs restaurant but the floor was super sticky.
