Omg. Disgusting. I can not eat this dinner we just ordered. I asked for: mixed vegetables with spices garlic sauce. I recieved: vegetables with sweet and sour sauce oiured all over it. No ther sauce. No garlic, ginger, spice -NOTHING!!! JUST 2 CUPS OF SUGAR SYRUP. ITS SO DISGUSTING, I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE THIS!!!! GROSS. Generally their food is ok, hot and decently prepared. They're still only take out, which is getting very old. But this time the food was marginal, tasteless and the chow mein we got was nearly all onions. At first we thought it may be bok choy or cabbage...but nope. All onions. So you get home to find out it's not really edible... We've been here many times. But will be trying other places going forward. I think this place because they're only doing take out no longer care about quality. You would have to drive back over to complain, and they know you won't do that. read more

Their menu has a typical selection from other restaurants, but they are fast, affordable, and refuse to compromise on quality. A little heads up. If you order noodles instead of rice, it will be plain hibachi style noodles. While not bad, it should be noted. I also appreciate that they have simple edamame. Just boiled, salted, in the shell. My chicken and brocolli was perfect - the chicken was cooked perfectly nice and tender, the sauce was delicious and not too salty. It perfectly complimented the white rice. We ordered Honey Chicken, Wonton Soup, House Special Chow Mein, Beef Lo Mein, and Wonton Soup. Everything was delicious, prepared with clean & quick service. The Chow Mein had more onion than noodle but still had great flavor. The man at the counter was very friendly, and from one Chinese person to another, the simultaneous thank you bow was very meaningful. First, the place looks like a DUMP. I would NEVER have ordered had I seen the actual facility. Second, you have to order from home or your car as they don't let anyone inside. There is a clear-ish box stuck in your the door that they pass your order through. They also have a slot to pass your "tip" through. Third, if you order online, they require your phone # & email address, leading one to think that you'll hear when your food is ready. NOT! When I asked why they didn't call, I was told that they don't call; you just have to hang around waiting for it. Fourth, the food was mediocre at best, generous, but just so-so. read more

I've ordered twice from here in the past three weeks. I liked it. Had a fresher taste than others alike. I had the boneless spare ribs, wonton soup and chicken fried rice. I have yet to order anything else from there. If it isn't broken why change it. Can't complain about the taste. The food is Good! Terrible! Ordered the "most liked" general tso's chicken. Awful! Chicken was over fried-tasted several days old. Sauce was more sweet then spicy. My son said the shrimp fried rice was below average. The noodles in the Pad Thai were over cooked and mushy with again a more sweet taste than spicy. I will absolutely NEVER order from here again. Help me try to understand the 5 star reviews to this restaurant! Last time I went to Sakura was in February and thought let's give them another try. Was a 3 star review with fairly mediocre food. I'll probably never get food again from here. $50 worth of food. A lot of it was thrown out. Orange Chicken, General Tso, Crab Sticks, Crab Rangoons, Boneless Spareribs, Chicken Pad Thai and a Free order of either general Tso's or something similar? No idea what it was. The General Tso's and Orange chicken tasted exactly the same. We all know the base sauces and batter/frying is the same for most of these chicken dishes but at least at some other restaurants you can tel tell the difference. Not at Sakura. Very disappointed. Crab Sticks were mediocre. Crab Rangoons were not good. Didn't taste fresh and maybe had to be fried longer. The boneless spare ribs were incredibly greasy. The chicken pad thai was the in my opinion the best thing on the order and even that lacked peanut crumble and lemon drizzle/wedges as well as being over saturated in oil. Was this the worst I've ever had from a Chinese restaurant? No I would say it wasn't but it in no way rose above a 1 star for me. Hate leaving bad reviews but in this case Sakura Kitchen has earned it. read more

General Tso's was slightly over sweet, zero heat, and not very crispy at all. 2 typical pieces of broccoli, which was really the most enjoyable part of the dish, with pork fried rice, that is pretty comparable to most pork fried rice. The egg roll was cooked well, but lacked any sort of flavor. The fried pork dumplings meat was pretty decent, except they were more oily than a teenagers face. (For those unfamiliar: Spaghetti are wheat noodles and proper lo mein noodles are egg noodles) Pork fried rice had more peas & carrots than anything else. Maybe their Japanese dishes are better but we only ordered Chinese ones. Had a coupon but still ended up being more $$ than it was worth.
