Chicken Chow mein with vegetables ? Nearly all onions.
    Marilyn B.

Generally their food is ok, hot and decently prepared. They're still only take out, which is getting very old. But this time the food was marginal, tasteless and the chow mein we got was nearly all onions. At first we thought it may be bok choy or cabbage...but nope. All onions. So you get home to find out it's not really edible... We've been here many times. But will be trying other places going forward. I think this place because they're only doing take out no longer care about quality. You would have to drive back over to complain, and they know you won't do that.

I'm a sucker for tasty Asian food. Sakura Kitchen never fails to impress. Their menu has a typical selection from other restaurants, but they are fast, affordable, and refuse to compromise on quality. A little heads up. If you order noodles instead of rice, it will be plain hibachi style noodles. While not bad, it should be noted. I also appreciate that they have simple edamame. Just boiled, salted, in the shell. No frills or additions, just the way it was meant to be.

I'm in literally in shock that I never tried this place before. I've driven past many times, but never paid too much mind to it. Talk about some good Chinese food! My chicken and brocolli was perfect - the chicken was cooked perfectly nice and tender, the sauce was delicious and not too salty. It perfectly complimented the white rice. The crab rangoon was star of show, a perfect balance of cream cheese, seasoning, and crab fried to perfection.

I really enjoyed my delivery order from Sakura kitchen - I love hibachi and when I saw their menu I knew I had to try it - it did not disappoint. Lots of veggies and I upgraded to noodles - they were so good!! For the spring rolls and Chinese doughnuts - everything was fresh and full of flavor - the crab Rangoon sauce was really good as well - I enjoyed it - definitely worth the order via DoorDash - it's the perfect comfort Chinese food - good portions and value!

Especially during the extreme weather during the winter they're cold in here and during summer they're kind of over hot. The woman owner i deal with every time. She's incredibly kind caring and a darling to talk to. This older Asian woman who doesn't even know me came from behind the plexiglass window and spent some time talking to me on a few occasions. She even invaded my personal space and was mere inches away. Such an incredibly sweet woman. They're always very quick here when I've placed my orders. Very very quick service. One time she did get my order incorrect but made it right on my next order. The restaurant is basically pick up take out and they have delivery. It's a basic looking Chinese no frills restaurant with pics of the food for your ambiance viewing. The food itself is very good. Keeps me coming back aglain and again for more. Very friendly. The parking is along side the street right in front. Easy peasy.

Consistent, flavorful, and good portion sizes. Went for lunch and the service was pretty quick,…read morethough we went right at opening so they were still in the process of starting their day. Lunch specials are smaller portion, but good for the price (raised to $12.95 now since my last menu photo) We split a lot of dishes because we couldn't decide: Wonton soup appetizer {4.5/5}: Loved how delicate the wontons were and the clear broth was great for a cold day. Tad too salty though. Lunch special --Braised pork belly {3/5}: Very tender, but kind of monotone in flavor. Very filling! Lunch special --Hot and sour gizzards {4.5/5}: This might freak people out in terms of texture, but I LOVE this texture. Good chew and pops of heat from the peppers and acid from the pickled green beans Lunch special --Cumin dish lamb {3/5}: kind of chewy and not as much flavor as I wished, but not bad! Chicken wings {3/5}: Crunchyyyy. Battered wings, not as much flavor as their chongqing chicken which I prefer, but not bad

Really good sichuan food, giant portions, authentic…read more Been meaning to swing by this place. Often cited as one of the best sichuan places around, had to make the trek to see. Outside is very much a busy shopping plaza in not the best part of town. Inside is a completely different story. Very clean and spacious, lots of booths and tables. Decorated well and a lot to see. The staff were friendly but there was a slight language barrier. We fumbled through the menu and found some bites to try. Food came out relatively quick, and that was a bit to manage because there were a lot of plates brought rather quickly. We got pics and dug in. The bites were flavored well. Nothing felt too greasy or under seasoned. The white pepper chicken was very crispy. But not a lot of chicken on each bite. The sweet and sour soup was both sweet and sour, but balanced enough that you could keep on eating it. The dumplings were fresh noodles and the filling was spiced well. The only flop was the spare ribs. Really tasty sauce, but very little meat on the bone. Had to suck on the bones to scrape enough meat off to make it a proper appetizer. It tasted good, just was not easy to eat. Price for the area was high for the neighborhood. It's got the quality and the flavor to command that price easily, but it doesn't match the stores. It's really good, but know that you're getting the real deal sichuan experience. Expect some heat, some saucy fingers, and some bones, and you'll get some really good bites

It's Chinese food- American Takeout style. They're not the kind of place you want to eat in at-…read moreheard the buffet is not so awesome (and who knows if there will be a buffet ever again after COVID?), and the driveway situation going out onto busy Rte 229 with no stop light is kind of a risk, but thankfully they offer delivery for pretty cheap- less than $1. The delivery option plus it being the best delivery option in town is what gives this place 4 stars over 3. I usually order online as the over-the-phone ordering is nightmarish at best. The staff is not very friendly over the phone, or when delivering, for that matter. But they get it done, and ordering online at least alleviates half the bad staff interactions. The pricing is not cheap, but is aligned with similar type restaurants in the area. They have coupons for free items, but only if you spend over 20 (before tax), 30, 40, or more. It's the kind of place where you think each item isn't all that expensive, but the bill adds up quick. My small family of 3 can never seem to spend less than $35.00 there. The menu is the same as like restaurants in the area. My partner really likes the boneless bbq spare ribs, and rightfully so- they are very well cooked, with nicely charred/blackened tips. They come out a dark red instead of candy apple red- which is what the undercooked sauce on the ribs look like. Their fried rice is also very good. Some have called it dry, but I like it that way. So, it works for me. I like the crisp green peas and onions in it. If they added egg, it would be even better. The Beef Teryiaki skewer sticks need some work. They were very gray in color, and the teriyaki flavor was too salty, almost like Kikkomans from the jar salty. Beef Teriyaki is generally one of my favorite items, but theirs was not special. The General Tso's was middle of the road. Acceptable, but I wouldn't write home about it. The egg rolls were great. I wish we ordered more than the one included with a platter we got. Overall, the food quality is middle of the road. Prices are middle of the road. Service is less than satisfactory, but since you can order online and get delivery, you can avoid much of the bad service AND get ok quality food delivered to your door, usually within 45 min (the norm for takeout places around here). If you really don't want to go out and pick up your Chinese Takeout, I totally recommend them for best delivered in Bristol. If you're planning to pick up, there are other better places, like SunFat in the Bristol Plaza Annex.

I keep getting told come back tomorrow, nothing try the next day, nothing, they said wait till Monday for the refund to process over weekend. I went in like they said STILL NOTHING!!!! Now I have to wait for them to call their Cc company to UNLOCK the refund! Idk how long that's going to take. This was a $35.00 order so not only is food greasy the place it run down and it's 5 days been waiting for my refund! I'll never order from there again! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! And $35.00 is a lot for a person to treat themselves on a fixed income
