a sign for a sushi restaurant
    Candice D.

Can you say wow I am impressed by this Hibachi and Sushi takeout restaurant. It looks like it used to be a sit-down restaurant it seems to me that it's only take out as of now. I must not be the only one thinking that it is this good because when I called it was a 2 hour wait for takeout at first I almost said forget it and then I decided let's just wait if it's a 2-hour wait there has to be something special about it I did call at around 5:30 she did suggest next time to call before 4:00 to place my order because they are really busy. So we ordered three steak Hibachis one chicken hibachi and each Hibachi dinner not only came with the hibachi but it also came with a side salad two spring rolls and crab rangoons all for $9.99 and that was a crazy good deal to me. The Hibachi and noodles were so good you could also get rice but we always get extra noodles the Yum Yum and ginger sauce were both amazing. The steak was very tender and cooked medium exactly how we all wanted it and the chicken was also very tender and cooked well done the way we wanted that. It was honestly a perfect meal and for the price you cannot go wrong and there were so many leftovers. I suggest you 100% try this restaurant I was so impressed I will definitely be back to try the sushi and of course for the hibachi but I will be calling at an earlier time but I have to say it was worth the wait. I am so happy I found this place.

There are only a few reasons I would ever give 5 stars. I stopped in here because I was taking a call and saw the sign and thought why not I'm hungry. The lady who served me was one of the best waitresses I've ever met. I didn't order a lot of food. Just three rolls. They were all good. That's not why I'm giving this place three stars through. They brought me several small single serving appetizers before my meal came out. I have no idea what they were. They were good. Again nothing really amazing but they were good. The quality of service here is far better than I would have expected. The food was good. I will keep coming back. Happy I found this gem in the middle of nowhere.

On the house as we wait for our take-out order. Nice touch.

Updating to five stars. This place is absolutely tremendous. We had a sit-down dinner for two and paid thirty bucks including tip. We even took home leftovers. The freebies here are amazing!! Bowl of edamame -on the house Two crab rangoons -on the house Two spring rolls - on the house Two fried shrimp in rice paper -on the house orange slices- on the house slice of cake- on the house We both ordered one of their $12 Bento boxes - a very generous platter with three shumai dumplings, a 6-piece California Roll, a scoop of rice, an entrée and a salad. I had the General Tso Bento and it was a solid portion of golden chicken with some broccoli in a sweetish sauce. It was excellent. So lets review what we ended up with - a really nice Bento Box dinner plus 6 different things piled on our table that were totally free. Service was great and we had none of the loud boisterous voices that cost Oishi that fifth star our first time here. I'm gladly giving it back tonight. What a sweet place!!

Every price is really reasonable. Food tastes good. A heads up: They don't even offer dine-in service. They exclusively provide takeaway.

Service was a little rocky at the beginning since it took a bit for someone to come over to us but everything was smooth from there. I got salmon and filet mignon and it was pretty good and I still had so much left to take home! The crisp on the salmon was perfect without it being dried out. The steak was cooked a bit too well for my liking, but wasn't tough so it's fine. If I could recommend one item to get and one to skip for sure: get the shumai (like 3 servings) and skip the lycheetini. A good time overall.

Depending on what you've ordered it may take a little time to cook but the service is pretty good overall. Although it can be busy they do have comfortable booths to relax and enjoy your meal. Inevitably once in a while you're going to hear partying going on especially around the Hibachi cooking areas where families come for a show besides the food. Clearly a great place to bring your family. My wife personally enjoys the fresh made house salad dressing as I do too. I've tried the plain Chicken Wings (crispy), boy do they ever come out so delicious and hot. The Boneless Sticky ribs are sweet and tasty. We've sat at the Hibachi table twice already and enjoyed the food and cooking show. There are so many items to choose from I don't think anybody would not find something on their menu to enjoy. Everything I've tried I've thought to be delicious.

The parking lot was also spacious and easy to get in and out of. My family and I dined there on Saturday for lunch. The service was good too. I started off with a single size scorpion bowl; I liked the famous drink, it's fruity and tropical. My kids liked their plain lo-mein; it's also a huge portion with plenty leftover. We were hungry so we started off with the yellowtail and scallion sushi roll; it's super fresh and melted in my mouth good. They also serve fusion tacos; we opted for the teriyaki beef bao bun taco. This came with lettuce, bean sprouts, sesame seeds, scallions, ginger, and soy. I was a fan, but not sure if it's really fusion since it's just a regular bao bun with toppings. For my entree, I went for the classic, General Tso's chicken with white rice. The flavor was good! I liked that it had slices of zucchini, peppers, carrots, in a hot pepper tangy sauce. The portions were good too. They have an extensive menu with so many other food I want to try. From pad Thai, curry, teriyaki, to sushi; there is something for everyone. The cocktails were tasty sounding too. My family and I look forward to going back again.

Kyoto... Saturday…read morenight check-in, and there were just a few patrons inside the restaurant, and takeout was slow The menu consisted of appetizers, soups, salads, ramen, hibachi, sushi, sashimi, rolls, and signature rolls Our order went in for two appetizers, one was the pan seared dumplings, and also some fried crab rangoon For the main course, my friend had the shrimp curry ramen, and I ordered a specialty roll called a momoirio roll, and an order of salmon sashimi I also ordered one of those peach ramune drinks After a short wait, the two appetizers arrived. The pan seared dumplings were absolutely delicious, and I would definitely get again. The crab Rangoon to me was a little bit off and flavorless. Also, it wasn't deep fried enough, so it was a little bit spongy and tough, instead of crunchy on the outside with an exploding filling My friend loved the curry shrimp ramen, which had a very generous portion of shrimp included. The salmon sashimi I had appeared to have been colored a deeper hue, which tells me it was probably farm raised. It also was very oily, and very hard to pick up with the chopsticks. I had to fork it. The salmon was also room temperature, which kind of set up a little warning for me like maybe it was a gas station sushi.... I ate it. It was meh The signature roll I ordered was terrible in presentation. It looked like it was wrapped in human skin and kind of grossed me out. The signature roll also had some type of white sauce, spritzed over the top of it, which was not appealing to my eyes. Flavor wise, there was none! I could only taste cucumber. I couldn't taste the lobster, I couldn't taste any other flavors in it. There were some black stuff on top that was crunchy. I didn't know what it was. I had to go back to the menu to see the other ingredients. And as far as the white sauce... I couldn't even imagine a flavor. As for service, the server we had seemed a little bit inexperienced. When I questioned some of the items on the menu, she had no answer and she had to go get a menu to read to me what was included in it. While she kept our water glasses full, she never asked if we wanted a dessert or tea What would have been a nice touch, but missing should've been some noodles with dipping sauce. That didn't happen. Also, maybe some complementary tea while we were looking at the menu would've been nice... Other than around the checkout- pick up-workstation, this restaurant was sparse and lacking decor. It also seemed like there was a lot of wasted space Somehow, I just was expecting more like some typical and traditional Japanese style. Boy was I wrong. As far as a date night atmosphere to remember, dining here isn't it. This place could offer the town so much more, as it seems like it could be so comfortable to hang out here have a few cocktails and enjoy a nice traditional Japanese dinner. But it misses the mark. I'm so on the fence with the rating. It definitely isn't a five piece. It's not even a four star. Parking is plentiful in the plaza. For $72 with the tip, and without alcoholic beverages; I think this visit was not a value. Fair service, no ambience, very limited menu... so reluctantly I give it three stars It just seemed like I didn't feel welcomed. When leaving, I paid a little compliment to one of the young males behind the register and he just seemed to take it with a grain of salt like in one ear and out the other....not even a thank you In closing this place is best for takeout

The menu is decent, with various ramen, hibachi, sushi, and appetizers. We enjoyed the shrimp tempura, avocado, and sweet potato rolls, all with six pieces each. Of the ramen, we had the shoyu chicken, vegetarian and wonton (all tasty though more toppings would have been good especially vegetables); the wonton had a thick skin so they didn't fall apart in the broth - I liked this but others thought it was too thick. Much of the food had an unexpected sweet flavoring. We also enjoyed the seaweed salad and vegetable gyoza though the latter weren't big pieces. The packaging of the ramen was effective because the toppings were separated from the broth to prevent sogginess. The ambiance of the location feels pretty sparse with a lot of white space. No one was in the establishment when we picked up the food, given a Sunday evening and holiday. The vibe felt like more of a casual quick meal or takeout vs. someplace to linger and bask in the atmosphere. They also had a kiosk to order and pay in the store if you don't feel like talking with anyone. When ordering, we didn't create an account so didn't get a notification about when the order would be ready. But they say 20 minutes on the website and it was ready when we arrived. The plaza has Fitzgeralds, CVS and Jersey Mike's.
