From the time we walked in, no one was at the counter. We waited for awhile. A very unfriendly with dark hair finally came out. No smile, no greeting, just walked out. We ordered. She only spoke maybe 5 words. We waited for awhile. Meat was cold, rice was cold and vegetables were cold and bland. It had decent reviews so it seemed like a safe bet, but once we walked in the place kinda smelled like a bathroom. It was off-putting and we should have trusted our gut and left. I can't eat steak, but it wasn't a big deal for my friend. So they gave me a side of chicken, which took less than a minute to get to me so I know it was already cooked. Meat tasted like it had been sitting cooked in a container for a long time. No flavor, overcooked, dry. Rice was hard and dry and veggies had no seasoning. Just bland and cafeteria style food. We landed here on our way to Vegas. There were lots of options to chose from. One in our party ordered the steak teriyaki with grilled pineapple. Fresh pineapple, freshly grilled! Yum! Another person in our party ordered shrimp teriyaki and loved it. Another one ordered steak and shrimp with noodles. He ordered it hot and loved it! It had a great taste. A big sign out front advertising new ownership. We almost left because there was no one there to take our order for a good couple minutes. The employee that took our order was friendly. The food was old and overcooked. The owner was at the front desk while we were eating with his AirPods in & on the phone. The sound of a hot and tasty teriyaki bowl after a cold day of hiking Zion lead us to Teriyaki Grill. In San Diego we have two teriyaki chains called the Flame Broiler and Teriyaki Brothers. Two of my favorite teriyaki places. So my expectations were pretty high. The bowls here were okay, overall I didn't like the presentation and the food wasn't hot, it was luke warm as if it was sitting in a buffet for a while. The bowl was composed of a large loaf of white rice in the middle, veggies on one side and meat on the other. It made it look like there was very little meat even though the meat wasn't a small portion. Taste was fine. They only gave one sauce per bowl.. I would have given out two especially if it was a large size.....they do sell their sauce in a bottle. In summation, Teriyaki Grill is okay. It could have be better. I ordered ginger salmon with noodles and vegetables from Teriyaki Grill and a rice krispie treat. They offered a bottle of their ginger sauce on the site but I was told that wasn't available. Ok. I ordered extra sauce ( the little cup) and they provided extra teriyaki sauce which I don't use at all. The meal was good, but I took one bite of the rice krispie treat, immediately soat it out. It was HORRIBLE They used to have delicious rice krispie treats. I don't even know what was in that thing. I wrote a review as feedback to Teriyaki Grill and was told it wasn't refundable. I have been a regular here for years. One of my favorite places to eat. The staff that work here are all great. Love the food. They've recently changed management a couple times since Covid and with that change, it went from $10 a bowl up to $16 a bowl. This is not due to increasing prices. It's due to management changes and wanting to charge more for less. It is really disappointing because I will no longer come here for those prices. I would go out of my way to come here over many other places but they lost me with this price hike and additional 50 cent card transaction fee. Shame on management. read more

Pretty frustrated wth this place. I usually Coke and love the flavor of the food. Usually they get my order right or at least make t right. Tonight we came in and my daughter ordered a kids meal, but she wanted a soda instead of a juice box that comes with the kids meal. They told me she couldn't do that and that I would have to buy another soda for her on top of the juice box I also ordered my veggies on the side. They brought my food out with my veggies on the bowl. When I told them about it, they just took the food back and scraped off the veggies. So I received my food with small pieces of veggies in it. There shouldn't have been any veggies in my bowl, they should have got me a new bowl and. It just scraped off the veggies. I could have done that myself. Extremely chewy, extremely dry, but still pink in the middle. called to let the manager know how the meat tastes and to see if whatever they were doing with the meat to go back to they way they used to make it. (fresh when ordered) the girl on the phone asked someone there if i could speak with them and they said no. I asked when I could call back and they said it's hit and miss. They were extremely accommodating even after we ordered and realized our food contained gluten. They bent over backwards to provide us food that was gluten free. I don't know his name (no name tags) but I bet everyone who has eaten here knows who I'm referring to because he is so friendly and helpful!
