This place was pretty busy with both takeout and eat-in, so we were excited to try it...and all the food was like 5/10. It's lacking flavor. The attentive staff was a highlight- water was continually refilled, and one person in my group asked for a different sauce and the waitress quickly found something that worked better. The restaurant was also relatively quiet even though it was full, so it was easy to hear each other. It's great that they have fresh avocado and mango spring rolls on the menu! What's odd is the super-thick peanut sauce served with it- truly not dippable, and it's weird to combine avocado with peanut butter. A tarter, sweet/sour sauce worked a lot better. The satay made sense with peanut sauce, but it needs to be thinner/smoother. All the entrees were just forgettable- nothing really bad or memorable. read more

Good: Really liked their ambiance, customer service and fast service. The place was packed when I first entered. I've got the table within 5 minutes. Price was decent & this place should be a good addition to your itinerary if you're not looking to spend $$ for lunch/dinner at Springdale. Bad: Panang curry that I ordered didn't workout for me. We were pleasantly surprised to find this spot in St. George. For whatever reason, our luck with food in this town has been pretty bad. The choin spots generally are consistent per the expectations of the overall brand but the Cracker Barrel there pretty much ruined the entire chain for us. The other Thai spots we've tried haven't been great. We'd been on the road for hours with a small child and were pretty exhausted. After scouring Yelp, we found this place and the ratings were generally good so we went for it. I'll put this in our top 5 g-tos when passing through SG now. The ambiance was great, the service friendly and helpful and the food mostly well prepared and solid. My only gripe is that I don't eat dark meat chicken and I was served a dish where it wasn't made clear that I was going to be serves that. I will just make sure to ask more specifically next time. My Pad Thai was very good and so were the appetizer skewers we ordered to do with it. Everything had freesh, vivid flavors and was well presented. read more

Oh I didn't take any photos this time around... but I am DEFINITELY returning very soon, and will add to this review for sure! We arrived shortly after they opened, and they PACKED UP almost immediately... the entire restaurant was full and the pickup and delivery orders were bustling as well-- and I can see why! We ordered the fried chicken shumai as an appetizer-- and LOVED it-- even asked for more chili sauce to go with. Also ordered the Basil duck which was my favorite dish-- and yet the Nam Sod was equally delicious full of layers and layers of flavor! Plenty of leftovers to take home-- and I certainly enjoyed them the very next day. Oooh... You will feel like a highness here! We ordered: Lad Nar = 5+ STARS The Lad Nar was a dish we'd never seen on a menu. Naturally, we ordered it. It was supreme and saucy, exactly what our household loves. The "special brown gravy sauce" was truly regal. It had so much flavor that delightedly danced over the dish and onto your tastebuds. Special Eggplant Curry = 5+ STARS The Special Eggplant Curry was the Green Curry with eggplant. It was beautifully creamy, balanced and full of all the veggies I was craving! Service: Friendly and prompt! Ambiance: Clean and casual! There's booths for twos or fours, and tables they can slide together for bigger groups. Going back? YES! My husband and I agreed that this is some of the best Thai food we've had. If we're ever driving through St. George again, we will be stopping. :D read more

Our family is staying at La Verkin for a three day trip to Bryce and Zion. We've been craving for an Asian cuisine, and we can't find one close to our hotel. Royal Thai is about a 30-minute drive, but we decided to go anyway. You won't regret it. The place... good seating arrangement with authenticxlally interior deisgn. The servers from the person who seated us, took our orders, and served the food are very friendly and always smile. They go around very frequently, asking if we need anything else. Teh food... all our orders taste very flavorful. I added pictures for you to see. The price of food is average. The men's restroom is clean enough but can be improved. Overall, I will give this a 4.8 score mainly for food and quality of service. read more

Service was good and it was nice and quiet while we were there. Location is good and food was fine. If friends wanted to eat here I'd definitely join them, but I don't know that it'll be my go to Thai place. The Tom ka soup was pretty good flavor. They didn't ask for a spice level which is what I'm used to, but it wasn't spicy at all. Very mild taste while I'm used to at least a little kick. It was good though. It only had chicken and mushrooms which was a little different, they went heavy on the chicken and really light on the mushrooms though. Would've liked more mushrooms. Good Thai restaurant in the St George/Washington area. We were in town to visit Zion National Park with Washington City as our home base. Decided to try Asian food on our third night in town and found Royal Thai on Yelp and Google. We had chicken satay, royal fried rice, noodle soup, yellow curry, and mango sticky rice. The portions were a good size and the prices were reasonable for this post-pandemic inflation era. The location was convenient as well since we needed to hit up the Costco Gas and Walmart after dinner and they were down the road and across the street, respectively. I would definitely return if I come back for another Zion trip. read more

Visited the restaurant 30 mins before their afternoon closing, but we ensured we placed the order quickly for them to be able to serve on time. Ordered lettuce wraps. The chicken tasted good, I wish the lettuce was properly cut and layered, which wasn't the case. A quarter of lettuce was placed and after 3-4 layers the leaves were too small to make a wrap. Ordered shrimp pineapple fried rice, which was good but I wish there were more shrimp and pineapple pieces in them. But I did enjoy the fact that they added lot of cashews and raisins enjoyable with every morsel. read more

I was a kinda disappointed because my friend had hyped this restaurant up. I came in with high expectations for the quality of food. I ordered the papaya salad and it didn't have a single sliver of papaya. It was drenched in dressing- and though it was good I did have to drain my plate of the dressing. Amazing service. They are so nice and kept our drinks filled. We got massaman, and drunken noodles. Both were great. The mango sticky rice was great, the mangos were so ripe. Was on vacation and went to this spot with family let me tell you it was horrible. Service was terrible first they sit us at one table then they tell us that we can move to another table since they didn't give us a booster seat for one of the kids. Next they take our drinks and then another server comes asking for what we want to drink so they weren't even organized or communicate with each other. Third thing is they over cooked our teriyaki chicken. It was dry and had no flavor. When told about the dry chicken they said that's how it is that they make it. That I'm just a server and we can't do anything about it and can't help you. They couldn't even bother to give a discount or anything until the very end and it was only a $6 discount on a $200 order. Also they didn't notify us that they added their own gratuity. Worst experience I've ever had. read more

Nam Sod and drunken noodles we're great. I had the Noms and ordered medium spicy and it was an actual medium spicy wasn't too extremely hot. The ginger was just the right amount if you like Ginger in a dish. The drunken noodles with fried tofu was all you would expect with the drunken noodle dish. My wife got the mild version. But it still had a little spice. It had great flavor and the tofu was fried as it should be. Crispy but not too tough. It was ready on time and we ate it at home. read more

I thought this place was a but expensive for Southern Utah but still delicious and the portions were large! I found the Pad Thai to be weird because they use Pho type noodles instead of Pad Thai noodles and I found it to not be as flavorful as other places. However the Drunken Noodles were flavor packed and perfectly spicy. The Yellow Curry was loaded with chicken and other add ins and very coconut-y. I don't know if I'd return because there are other Thai places around I'd like to try but this place was still good! read more

This was such a great place to eat at! The staff was very friendly and smiled a lot. The inside was well decorated and lighted. The seats weren't too bad either. I think it's kinda hard to mess up curry in general but this place exceeded my expectations as far as flavor. It was so good and there was a lot. I had to ask for another rice bowl and there was still some curry sauce left. Trust me, you can't go wrong here. My only complaint is that it costs extra for more rice. I've been to quite a few who don't charge as much, or don't charge at all for more rice. Maybe adjusting the portion size would be a good idea? read more

Great little Thai restaurant. The food came out fairly quickly and was fresh and hot. The curry was packed with flavor and was really filling. We had just finished a bike race and I still couldn't finish it, so kudos to them. The service was really good. We had a group of 6, and they offered to split it up into separate checks and did so without any sense of irritation. It was cooked as a Chinese dish. My advice to the owner of this restaurant is...When an Asian orders food from your restaurant, give them the meal they ordered and make it with fresh ingredients. WE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! I give this restaurant no stars and an F minus. It was a waste of money, I threw the food in the garbage. I advise everyone to eat somewhere else. read more
