This is an average Chinese restaurant located on Sunset blvd. Easy to get to and only busy Fri & Sat nights.

The reservation was written down for 730pm. The host team did the best they could and had us seated in 15 minutes. Good recovery. Our server, Bailey, was kind and friendly. She was quick on drinks, soups, and salads. We waited quite a while for the Hibachi chef to arrive. A solid 30 minutes. He was great and made it fun. The chef, Bailey, and others apologized many times for the slow service. We were still having a nice time until the bill came. We looked at each other (the 5 of us) and said, "No dessert? Nothing was offered. No menu provided. Big miss! So we just paid the bill, tipped well, and left. There was a $45 discount on the bill that wasn't mentioned so I suspect this was the slow service or was it for not offering dessert? The hosts were friendly on the way out as well. This was definitely a 3-star experience on this trip, but we have had 5-star experiences in the past. This is the reason for the 4-star rating. If you're having a 5-star experience, the price is right, but it's a little pricey when it's a 3-star experience. Really great people at Sakura. A very clean and beautiful restaurant.

Final restaurant for this short trip to Utah. Decided to try Chinese... Why not…read more. Clean and friendly staff, got sat right away. Menu was interesting with different options from different parts of Asia. Ordered shrimp Bakmi Goreng noodle. Never had this dish and I read the description online and sounded yummy. Ordered basil chicken and orange chicken also. Food came pretty quick and chicken dishes came with white rice. I looked at my noodle dish and first thing popped in my head was.... "hmm didn't look like that online and sure looks like typical stir fried noodle.". Took my first bite and yup, tasted like typical soy sauce seasoned noodle dish.... Looking at the basil chicken dish and first thing I noticed was not a single fresh basil leaves in the dish. Tasted the dish and again very blend seasoning with hint of basil flavor. Definitely not like basil chicken or beef dish I ordered from my local Thai or Chinese restaurants back home. Tried the orange chicken. It did have crispy chicken except it was more on the sweet and sour flavor and not orange flavor. Oh well, it is what it is. At least I didn't leave here hungry. I definitely would not be coming here (I mean I don't live here but if I ever pass through here again) and I could not recommend this place.

Our server was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. I enjoyed the Pad See U and my dining partner had the teriyaki chicken. We drove in…read morefrom Vegas that morning for the day and we worked up quite the appetite after 9 miles of hiking. We were looking forward to some yummy hot food. My husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and I ordered the Garlic Chicken & broccoli. We shared an order of Rangoons. If I'm being perfectly honest the food was just ok IMO. I purposely ordered my dish with no sauce bc I don't care for my food to be swim in a sodium, sugar & oil mixture masking whatever flavor the protein & veggies present on their own. I actually WANT to taste them. I didn't expect my mind to be blown by my dish for that reason. I knew what I was getting & honestly my food was very good. The chicken breast was good quality, cooked nicely and cut into small bite sized pieces as was the broccoli. Just what I wanted. Now I DID want to splurge a bit which is why we got the fried stuff too. Now for the not so impressive part. The stuff that was supposed to blow my mind bc it was fried, came with sauce and lots of spice just fell flat. The Rangoons had very little flavor. They were even slightly under cooked it seemed. The corners were the only part that were crispy and the part closest to the middle was barely cooked. Not my fav. I like a very crispy rangoon. Maybe that's just my preference. I sampled my husband's pad Thai, also a bust. Hardly an spice or flavor. He ordered a 3 out of 5 and there was hardly any heat. Maybe my Vegas taste buds have been spoiled or maybe this is a different style of the Thai we're not used to. At any rate I'm only giving it 3 out of 5 stars based on the food itself. The restaurant was in an interesting looking built stone building & plaza and the interior was decorated with a pretty traditional Asian-Thai theme. This place was packed on a Sat night too! The locals must love it. There was a line of people waiting to be seated when we arrived. There are no complaints about the service. We called our order in for pick up. The man who took out order was polite and I believe he was the same host who was greeting people at the door. He was very busy but still gave great service with a smile. Again, this review is not a reflection of him. He was great. The food....just wasn't.
