So I thought I'd try this place out since it is conveniently close to work. First instincts upon entering was to leave. The pictures of the food look delicious but the menu to me has been simplified way too much. I ordered a shrimp and pork fried rice. The whole purpose of ordering fried rice is everything is stir fried together. Not the case here. What I got was a bed of fried rice with two meats and a fried egg on top. Great little spot next to Fred Meyer. I was promptly helped and the guy was really nice and accommodating. A plus is that they offer brown rice at no charge. Portions are large for the prices and tasty. I had the hot and spicy pork, it had real good taste but little too spicy for me, next time I will ask for less sauce and I'm sure they can accommodate me in that manner. Overall fast service and good food. Look forward to trying the teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu! read more

It's rare that I drop a 5 star so I'm happy when I can. My daughter and I had a chance to try this place and we weren't disappointed. The prices are fair, portions are quite generous. The service was good. It's a quick serve place with places to sit and enjoy. I had the house special, which was a combo plate of tempura shrimp, teriyaki chicken, steamed white rice. My daughter had shrimp yakisoba noodles. She and I both enjoyed our meals as well as each other's. The place was a bit empty but most people seem to order and take home. We will for sure drop in again soon. Great choice over panda in my opinion. read more

I should've known from the misspelled name. The food took longer than average to arrive even though there were only four dishes ahead of me. This is the fattiest chicken I've ever had at a teriyaki place. The sauce, rice, and salad were fine. The Spanish language music ruins the vibe for me. And no chopsticks?! read more

Gave them a 3 because their food is pretty good. But the service not so much. We won't be going back. Paid 25.00 for 3 meals went outside to eat and wait for food, took a real long time only to realize our food was in a bag on the counter. Then messed up the order twice. And the chicken was very fatty. read more

This place has good flavor, and I love that the food is cooked right there in front of you, open kitchen style. Prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the chicken seems to be lower quality and has a lot of fat. I would recommend getting a higher grade chicken. I get that it might decrease the profits but in the long run you will get more business and make more money. read more

This place was awful. I ordered pork fried rice, but that's absolutely not what I got. What I received was rubbery, fatty chicken, reheated frozen veggies(peas/carrots), topped with a fried egg that had a runny yoke. I ended up throwing out my whole plate of food. I highly suggest skipping this restaurant until they figure out how to properly prepare meat and take orders. read more

I ordered the Chicken and Beef combo. The portion 's were larger than other teriyaki restraunts I've been to and it was cooked perfecfly with just enough sauce. It was a nice surprise. This is now my favorite Teriyaki restaraunt read more

I miss The Chicken Bar - so much!!! The food here is mediocre at best. The gal at the front counter is super sweet and nice, but the two dudes doing the cooking are complete A-holes and that is being nice. There are definitely better Teriyaki places around and you can actually get a hello and thank you rather than a grunt. read more

Small portions. Rubbery, fatty meat. I ordered the yakisoba. I couldn't even eat the chicken so i was left with a small handful of noodles. They were ok but certainly not worth $7.50. It was nearly $30 for two adults and 1 child with drinks. Definitely not worth it. read more

This is one of my favorite lunch spots, I visit once/twice a week...fast and fresh...and fairly healthy options. Love the yakisoba and the spicy chicken...it's great they can accommodate a request for all white meat. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place--sleek interior and a simple but well-prepared menu. While the egg rolls were your typical freezer-to-deep-fryer affair, the chicken fried rice--made right in front of me--was quite good. Not a bad option near Fred Meyer's. The prices are better then some of the other places around and very quick! I had the house special so I could try some of their appetizers as well as their teriyaki chicken and rice. The egg roll was a little doughy inside, but the shrimp tempura and gyozas were great. I loved the orange sauce they put on the appetizers. Came with a salad that was plain, but fresh and had a great dressing on it. The chicken and rice portion was large, so I get to eat it again tomorrow. The teriyaki sauce was a little sweet for my taste - but hey, I just spiced it up by adding some chili sauce! read more

First off, this used to be a place called the Chicken Bar which was AMAZING! Big nicely cut chicken breasts with broccoli and cauliflower and rice. Now it's Teriyaki 2. Their veggies is a sad salad that has dressing on it that wets the lettuce if you don't eat it immediately. The rice is good, as it's rice and that's hard to mess up. The chicken is very chewy and not really cut well, as it all hangs together and the pieces seem like they are throwaway pieces that no one else wanted. I've only been here twice, but both times I swore I'm not going back as there are much better teriyaki places around. The service is not great. I got more of a grunt than a friendly hello. I asked for extra teriyaki sauce and it costs $0.50 to get extra. Ripoff. Most places give it to you and one has it out so you can fill as many as you want. Anyways, this place is ok but there are MUCH better places around to get teriyaki. I'll be going to the others from now on. i gave this place a second chance and it didn't sway me to them. read more
