Ok, we showed up unannounced and no other customers were there. We placed our order (2 spicy chicken bowls and 2 boba slushies). We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, cool I guess. So we walk around, kill the 20 minutes...My friend goes in and is told "another 10 minutes, they're putting it in now", so we wait. Finally, after our 10 minutes, and seeing multiple people go in grab their order and leave before us, we go in and end up waiting more time. In total we waited an hour. The guy tried to re-coop and threw in a couple of sauces and b/c we waited for an hour offered free drinks from the cooler (we declined). So THEN we get to the car and are waiting for a few minutes (my friend was texting before we drove off) and the guy comes running out, he mistakenly gave us the wrong order! We got our correct order and drove off into the sunset..... So why not 1 star? The food was actually decent. It came with a side salad with a raspberry(?, maybe it was strawberry) vinaigrette. The chicken was actually spicy (I'm big into spicy food and most places are bland, but I could taste it in this one), and the rice was good. Be forewarned that it's a LOT of rice and a few pieces of chicken but it was still filling (maybe b/c I was already so hungry, idk). Ok so I love this place! I hate not giving them 5 stars. The service is friendly and welcoming. Not a lot of seating so when they are busy you most likely will not have somewhere to sit. The biggest downfall is that they run late on your food constantly. You can call in order, make an order in advance, or even walk in and the estimate time is going to be behind. At least that is my experience. I would say the cost is a little high for a chicken bowl, but you also get what you pay for with flavor..... ok so the food, Very good. I guess you can say you are going to wait for good food. I think the wait is 100% worth it. I have tried to Spicy chicken bowl, it is very , very good. Wish it came with a little more chicken, but only because it is so good. I like it with steamed rice, let you really taste the flavor of the chicken. Friend of mine recommended this place. I had to call a couple of times before I actually Got someone to answer. We ordered the sweet bacon bowl, combination bowl and tempura roll. The lady on the phone said it was about an hour wait and to call in 30mins to check on our order.... we live a ways away so was ok with that. I tried calling 30mins later and no answer. We got a call about an hour after our order that it was ready which I thought was nice... we arrived and the place was empty and no one was parked in front so I don't really know why it was an hour to make the food. The food: The food lacked flavor. My BF said the steak had zero flavor but the shrimp was good. My sweet bacon shrimp was not sweet, Barely had bacon and almost tasted like the fried rice provided. All in all my bowl had the same flavor around. The sauce they provided was spicy. Almost too spicy for me. The salad dressing was runny and was sweet. It's a sushi kind of day! My mother called in and ordered the spicy crab roll and the dragon roll. The worker was nice. After ordered the worker said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Party of 2. Super friendly greeting as we walked in. Walked up to counter and was forewarn that it would be about an hour wait on food because they were back up on all the phone/app/whatever orders. Boba was nice, had some warmth, and chewy. Flavor was lite, but okay. Not too sweet which was a plus. Received food about 45 minutes later and because they were already "closed", we took the food home and ate it there. First opened container were the calamari rings (6oz) and in my humble opinion, they were not worth $9! Second, I ordered the spicy chicken bowl and although the flavoring was there, I felt the meat was overcooked. As far as the fried riced, I was a bit disappointed that it somewhat tasted like "old" rice and the flavor wasn't quite there. I'm Asian, so I'd like to say I know my rice. Lol! Third, my brother ordered the special bowl and it was disappointing that for $16, the top (when you open the clear lid) wasn't fully filled with meat. Not only that, the beef was tough and overcooked. Fourth, the side salad was a "no-go" for me. Probably had to do with the salad dressing. The vinaigrette was too sweet for my tastebuds and didn't compliment the main course. Maybe a ginger or peanut dressing would've complimented the meal much better. Finally, the sushi! I'd have to say, out of everything ordered, the sushi was the best, even though it didn't keep its form when you picked up to eat it. I may or may not come here again, but it was an overall good try. Man, so first off, this place just opened up on the corner of bullard and minewawa right across the street from where we live, maybe 3 weeks ago (lucky us lol) For starters, the service was absolutley phenomenal! I got my bowl custom made just the way I wanted it which is great for a picky eater like me lol. The food was cooked to absolute perfection. The spice in the spicy teriyaki was not overwhelming enough to drown out the superior flavor of the quality meats and savory fried bacon rice, and the portions were generous enough to have me filled and then some. 10/10 will be back to this local business again and again. The food is good but the service is extremely inconsistent. I walked in at 11am on a Friday and the wait to get a single bowl was 1hr45min because they were fulfilling a catering order. The sauce is really good! Just know there is really no place to eat in. They only have about 3 tables inside if you want to eat there. Also, just know that when they tell you the wait time, add about 15 minutes on top of that time because it's rarely ever an accurate time.
