I've been to Ten Seconds Yunan Rice Noodles in San Leandro before, so I was really excited to see that they've opened a location in downtown Berkeley! I ordered the Original Sliced Beef Rice Noodles, and it was delicious. I was feeling a bit under the weather that day, and the rich bone broth was incredibly satisfying, and I ended up finishing every last drop of the soup. In my opinion, the rice noodle soup here tasted even better than the one at the San Leandro location, and the restaurant itself was cleaner and more inviting. I had a great experience and will definitely be back. I'm hoping they can keep up the quality as they continue to grow!

I went here twice in one week because I loved it so much! Ten Seconds serves such comforting noodle dishes that also manage to look aesthetic! Their menu is simply with different meats and different broths but all of them look great! Service was also great. I definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't yet!

Great food quality! Nice place and friendly service. The taste of the original soup reminds me of my hometown noodle soup in Vietnam. But be aware that someday the food is less seasoning and not that consistent. Overall, this place is still a "MUST TRY"

I'm surprised how good this place is, I never knew such an authentic restaurant existed. I highly recommend this place to everyone, you won't believe how heap their price and the food portion. Stuff are so friendly, especially for the kids. The environment is also neat and clean. You really got give it a try!

Really enjoyed this place! I've been craving Yunnan rice noodles for a while, and this definitely hit the spot. The broth came out piping hot and had a really nice, comforting flavor without being too heavy. I also liked how all the ingredients were served separately so you could add everything in yourself. The rice noodles had a great texture and the portion was pretty generous. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was really cute too. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. It's a good spot to come by yourself or with a couple of friends. Service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. It's not always easy to find good Yunnan-style rice noodles around Berkeley, so I'm really happy I found this place. I'd definitely come back, especially on a cold day when I'm craving something warm and comforting.

I've been to this place three times in three weeks, and it hits every time. I've tried their Original rice noodle soup, and tomato rice noodle soup. The original pork bone soup wins by a mile. This might actually be the best pork bone broth I've tasted anywhere. It's so savory and flavorful, without being too rich or heavy. This is Yunnan style "Crossing Bridge" rice noodles, and I think if it's your first time here, they will serve all the side ingredients on a bridge for you to place immediately into the hot soup (like quail eggs, tofu, shrimp, green onions, and more). If you've been here before, they bring out the noodle soup with everything already in it. Honestly I prefer it that way, less hassle. Their beef tripe and beef brisket are both cooked to perfection. They also have delicious rice plates. The place is very clean with excellent lighting. The staff are nice and work efficiently. I appreciate them refilling our water cups. This is definitely my new favorite food spot in Berkeley, and I will be visiting frequently.

Food: 5 Service: 4.5 Atmosphere: 4 4.5 stars! Quick service, excellent broth, and the soup arrives piping hot. I was a big fan of this place since college. There's plenty of seating inside, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I highly recommend the original Beef Rice Noodles. The broth is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. All of the ingredients complement the broth well. I did find it a bit unusual that they serve lettuce instead of Napa cabbage, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. The beef was incredibly tender, and I especially enjoyed the goji berries. Another major plus is how affordable everything is. Considering both the quality and portion size, $18 is a great value. My friend ordered the Pepper Beef Rice Noodles, which were also flavorful with a nice, mild kick of spice. Overall, this is a great spot for a satisfying bowl of noodles, and I will definitely be coming back.

Great environment , the restaurant is clean and modern decorated. Very friendly service. Noodle soup is yummy and rich in flavor. My parents and I love the noodle soup a lot. Highly recommended.

This is 100% authentic Chinese rice noodle for sure, very clean environment, friendly stuff. The money is dirt cheap for the portion you get. The food portion is huge, unbelievable great taste. I highly recommend everyone to stop for a quick lunch or dinner. Definitely worth it!

I usually gate keep but I have to share my review for this restaurant. The noodles here are super amazing and authentic. Full of flavor, perfect texture, and temperature. I have a bad spice tolerance but I still couldn't stop myself from eating my spicy noodles despite my tongue being on fire. The service was also amazing. Our server gave us exceptional and welcoming service. Her fluency in multiple languages assisted my entire family throughout our time here. This is a place I would heavily recommend to my fellow noodle lovers!

The restaurant is clean and the waitresses are warm and friendly. More importantly, the rice noodle is very yummy. I'd definitely come here again to try more. Scan to offer option is very convenient and the wait time is pretty okay.

Tried the green peppers sliced beef rice noodle and collagen chicken soup with rice noodle. Both broths were flavorful, the noodles had a nice texture, and the ingredients tasted fresh. I especially liked the idea that you can customize your bowl with different toppings on the green peppers one.

That asides, the food as Noodle Dynasty is unmatched. I typically get their noodle soups, which are a massive portion size, & appetizers, such as lamb skewers, spicy wontons, and chinese doughnuts. To this day, I think that the spicy wontons are the best in the area - super flavorful beyond just the chili oil taste. Definitely recommend getting these! The dumplings were delicious and even better with some chili oil. The chicken fried rice had huge chunks of egg and chicken which I loved with a deep soy flavor. FYI, the pan fried buns take a bit of additional time and come piping hot. I would wait a few minutes before eating, or check out a video on @yelpbayarea of how to eat soup dumplings! Another note, you order from an iPad that's handed to you upon arrival once seated. Make sure after you 'add items to cart' you submit your order. We left that step out and didn't realize until a few minutes later. Staff is friendly and make sure to ask if anything additional is needed like napkins, etc. Overall a fun experience, fair pricing, located in the hustle and bustle of the mall, and cool digs if you're looking for a comfortable dining experience without the frills.

Massaman Gai Curry (5/5) - the curry was so flavorful in this dish and the soft potato complimented it very well. Definitely the winner of the night. Chicken Khao Pad (Fried Rice) (3/5) - rice was a little too dry and the thinly cut chicken again did not pop out in the dish. Overall, very fresh and authentic Thai dishes. Service was fast and attentive. There are plenty of seating options to dine in, but I also saw a lot of take out orders.
