I've outgrown the fancy designs, shells, crystals, gold foil, etc, and come to realize the ability to shape the nails perfectly goes such a long way. While Vicky is capable of creating the designs I coveted in the past, she is truly a master of her craft when it comes to shaping and UV gel technique. I kid you not, when covid-19 shut the city down, the UV gel on my nails would not budge for the next two months. I basically had to cut them off to remove them. I've followed her ever since she was at Glorious nails' old location to their new location and now her own establishment. To be honest, I've cheated on her a couple times because I don't live in the immediate area, but I always find myself coming back to her. Frankly, no one does it like Vicky does.

I first had to soak off my current set (for 5$) and I got bored so I decided to get a pedicure while I waited (25$). I also had to remove the current gel on my toenails (for another 5$). Pretty good pedicure, she sanded down my heels, trimmed my cuticles, gave me a short foot/leg massage. However, I wouldn't get a pedicure here again because I think 25 is kinda pricey and can definitely get it for less elsewhere. From far away the polish looked fine, but from close up it looked super bumpy and jagged? I also got this cute acrylic set (45$). I wanted milky white nails at first but they didn't have the color so I was kinda disappointed :( The guy doing my nails was super patient and took his time perfecting them. I was lowkey in a rush though Total came out to be 80$, but because I paid in card, it was 87$. I would definitely come here again and probably bring cash!!!

I appreciated that she kept confirming with me if I liked the shape. I also got a relaxing hand massage. I accidentally nicked one of my still wet nails and she had to repaint it. But she was super nice about it even though she had another customer. This was my first time going to this nail salon. I always pass by here since it's in my neighborhood. The interior is cute, clean and a good size. A lot of places are too cramped and not properly ventilated. I would be coming back. They have specials so I can't wait to try out the services.

All the ladies there have done my pedicures and they are all really nice and meticulous with everything but my favorite person to go to is probably the slim middle aged woman who has brown hair. One time I came in but it was busy so I had to come back a little later but it was still busy but I still waited and that lady actually gifted me with a small lotion because of the wait. I did tips here once and they were alright. They didn't really last long though. They started to fall off in two weeks. Overall I think this is a nice, clean place to get your nails done.

Of course, each of them has their own way of doing things, but nevertheless they are all careful and precise. For my latest experience, I had Lucy. With the picture I showed her, a dark blue color with a marble pattern, Lucy noted that they don't have the same dark blue but offered a solution. She layered a black coat first and then a navy blue to pull out the same effect, which in my mind, is pretty brilliant. In addition, one of my nails had chipped off earlier; but, instead of just filing all my nails to match, Lucy offered to attach an acrylic tip to extend it. She went through an extra effort to make sure her work look spectacular, and I highly appreciated it. Michelle is friendly and likes to make conversations.
