Found this place on Yelp when looking for a breakfast spot. I'm a regular to the Outer Banks, and this was the first time I had stopped in. If you drove by it, you wouldn't even know it was there- there is not much signage on the road. However, it was worth looking for. It is a take out place, with a few outdoor seats. Picked up breakfast for my family (2 kids, 9 & 7). I had the French toast- it was delicious. My wife and son both got breakfast burritos, and had great things to say about them. My very picky 9 year old got the pancakes and gave them two thumbs up. This is a good place to go mid morning for breakfast if you don't want to wait an hour to eat at the sit down places. read more

This was my go-to breakfast place during a week getaway to the Outer Banks, came here three times, got the same thing (Beach Road breakfast burrito--one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had) each time. I went to other places too, and they were good and all, but were a little too tourist-y for my tastes. This place is super chill, the staff (including Toby the owner/front counter man/coffee refiller/waiter/seemingly everything) are awesome, there isn't seating inside but they have outdoor seating, I would get my order and just take it back to the hotel I was staying it, sit by the beach, and go to town. Ten O Six - Seafood Near Me - Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Ten O Six was one of my favorite meals of my first trip to OBX. We had lunch on Sunday and i got a Summer Salad and added a crab cake. This crab cake was the BEST crab cake I've ever had. No exaggerating. The staff (Toby) was very friendly and welcoming. After we finished lunch, we decided to get a Sunrise smoothie. It was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back! read more

My husband and I had wanted a private chef for our "dinner night" as each couple takes a turn while vacationing in Pine Island in Corolla OBX. Toby was amazing! He came very well prepared, cooked, cleaned and packed up any leftovers. He added to the conversation nicely but was not overbearing in the least bit. The food was absolutely delicious! Saw two groups of people walk in, and then walk out, presumably because they didn't have seating inside. They missed out! Great place to pick up a quick bite! Loved the biscuits and sausage gravy and the coffee was wonderful. Service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. My dog George was welcomed and received a nice cold bowl of water. In addition to prepared food, they also have a small local vegetable selection for sale. Fresh tomatillos were for sale! Ten O Six catered my wedding this past weekend, and I could not be more pleased! The chef and his assistants were wonderful, and the food was a hit!! Found this place this morning during our bike ride! So glad we did! Great breakfast, Toby the owner could not have been any nicer! I had scrambled eggs with fresh veggies and black beans in a bowl, delicious! My husband had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese with an everything bagel! It was not only delicious but there was so much of it!! Great big portions, so come hungry! Also, the bagel was excellent, which down here is hard to find! Will definitely be back before we leave! This is, hands down, our favorite place in the OBX for breakfast burritos. No contest. We arrive every year on a Sunday and get up early Monday to get our breakfast burrito. We'll go back 2-3 times during our stay. Toby and his team are the best and always so friendly. read more

To celebrate my mother's 90th birthday, who lives in Kitty Hawk, I rented a beach house in the Corolla area during the week of Christmas. There was going to be a total of 17 people. The decision was made by me and 2 of my sister-n-laws not to cook the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals. Have I mentioned that I live in Houston, Texas. After reading through the YELP reviews I gave Ten O Six a call. I worked with Toby and we came up with the menus for the 2 dinners. He assured me that there would be ample food for 17 adult appetites. He personally delivered the meals and set up the Christmas Eve dinner (Mexican Fiesta) and stored the prepared Christmas Day dinner in our refrigerators. The food was great! I must comment that the fajitas (chicken and beef) were very good, along with sides of rice, beans,sour cream, etc. This is from a woman and her family who are from Houston and go to restaurants that serve some of the best Mexican and Tex-Mex. Christmas Day dinner was the classic Turkey and Ham, with all with wonderful sides (mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, corn, green beans, etc.). My entire family was very happy with both meals. We had enough food left over to feast on left overs for several meals. I was very happy with the service, the quality of food, and the food choices I was given. This was an extremely important occasion, with family members traveling in from 4 different states. Not having to worry about shopping, preparing, and cooking these 2 important meals took a lot of stress off of me and my 3 sister-n-laws. Great flounder sandwich. Restaurant was categorized as seafood but this is really just an excellent deli counter type of restaurant. They do seem to offer larger seafood options for large purchase. My only complaint would be the limited side options (only one potato salad left at 1:00 and everyone in my party wanted that. read more

Service was great, very friendly and guy was interactive with my kid. Limited table space only 1 bench area and 6 chairs outside, seemed like more of a carry out place as all your food comes in plastic to go box's. Food was ok not great but mediocre. Was pretty cheap, we didn't have the famous burritos like previous reviewers so maybe it was our mistake. I will say they had a good selection of seafood but didn't get the chance to try it. Came down to OBX early on a Saturday morning and were looking for somewhere with outdoor seating since we had our dog. The gentleman who took our order and served us was extremely nice, even brought out a cup of water for the dog. The breakfast food was delicious; we may have to return to try the lunch.
