Ten O Six has replaced Crabby Fries, and I must say that I am a fan of the restaurant! Unlike the previous commenters, I have been very pleased with the breakfast burritos, which are quite large and tasty. The fillings seemed pretty fresh and tasted great! My group ordered fillings ranging from peppers and onions to jalapenos to bacon/sausage, and there were no complaints at all. I will definitely be back the next time I am down in KDH! The only complaint I would have is the long wait times as echoed by a previous yelper. read more

My brother and I went here about five times during the course of a week, and tried just about every breakfast item. The food was outstanding (I highly recommend the sausage biscuits and gravy.) The service was excellent. The coffee was the best I've had in a long time. We will be back next year! read more

We stayed in Kill Devil Hills at the end of September. This restaurant came up as a suggestion for vegetarian cuisine and just happened to be right across the street from where we were staying. While they didn't have any burrito or sandwich listings that were vegetarian, the dude (Toby) was more than willing to create a vegan friendly wrap for us. He put together some grilled veggies, corn salsa, and avocados. We enjoyed them so much I called after we ate to tell him he should add the wraps to his regular menu. We also loved them so much that we went back a day later to have him make them again so we could have a nice lunch on the beach. Nice little place. It's realistically a take-out place, but maybe they have more seating during the busy season. We did enjoy the food and Toby seems like a nice guy. read more

I like to think I know my way around some fried food and beach or no beach, this place is a winner. The chicken tenders were done the hard way, clearly having never seen the inside of a freezer, the shrimp were perfect, and the hand cut fries were subtly seasoned with old bay. My first trip to OBX and I discover this little gem. The first day there I went in when I was on my morning walk. I had the blueberry tea (iced) it was amazing. I had every intention to return later for some food after speaking with Toby. He was very friendly and did a great job breaking down various items on the menu. Well the day got away from me and I missed it, planned on coming back the following day and but the were closed. I made it there though Thursday the day before we left and can I just say I really like the French toast and I ordered bacon and it was amazing. My husband got the burrito which he liked but it was soo much so ( though not a fan of breakfast burritos) I helped polish it off. We went back the following morning on are way home and he got a custom burrito and i the French toast again, with potatoes and bacon. I came to the conclusion after eating the bacon, that they really know what they are doing with bacon. It was so good and I couldn't figure out why. We both agreed that our next trip and any future trips to OBX have to include "Ten O Six". read more

Stopped by this place at random, definitely a hidden gem. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I was skeptical at first because there wasn't a seating area inside but the friendliness of the staff definitely won me over. The food is fresh (fresh cut veggies) and delicious!!! Yes! This is the little place off the beach that you want next to the bungalow. They've got more than just custom, to-order seafood. They've got BOMB sandwiches and wraps. I'm sure their breakfast is bad-ass too. It is also a coffee shop as well. read more

Big breakfast burritos/sandwiches and specialty coffee drinks. The biscuits were fresh out of the oven and sooo good. Fresh fruit salad. Very friendly staff... The girl at the counter gave my daughter a little mini muffin :) Right across from the beach.. Only downside is no indoor seating- just a few picnic tables outside. read more

It's super tempting to stop at the Stack Em High pancake joint on your way to this place, BUT DON'T! The staff is super friendly - and they made fresh coffee for us too. The burritos are delcious, thr price is great, and the food is quick. Also, it's a great option for a vegetarian. read more

We love getting breakfast from Ten O Six! We've enjoyed the bagel sandwiches, sausage gravy, and French toast and the breakfast burritos are the best! I had the Beachcomber burrito for breakfast and it was excellent. My sons had biscuit sandwiches and they, known for being a tad bit hard to please, loved them. My daughter loved the pancakes as well. My wife had a burrito as well and enjoyed every last bite. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Don't go expecting seating inside. They have a few tables on the porch but none inside. I would definitely go back to see the lunch menu. read more
