Ahhh love this school! This review is about my pbserbas on how nice this place is. Established in…read more1963 I totally got the 1960s vibe when I visited. I have had the opportunity to go a couple of times to do interpreting assignments and everything has been smooth, from the check-in time to the end. I felt at home and treated very nicely. One thing that I liked a lot is the name of the 'streets', so cute! The herbs garden is adorable and the whole school exudes care. I can't wait to be called back!

Also when my son was attending this school his teachers were so disrespectful in understanding his especial needs since he has ADHD none of the teacher are capable or had any especial training on working with kids of especial needs . I was surprise to find out they don't have any special needs classes since they are always asking for money for everything whenever they have a chance. There is zero support for the parents unless you are white rich parent, Because I noticed the difference on treatment when my husband picks up our days since he is caucasian and I'm a Latino mom, I don't put out either their nonsense ideas and speak out my mind. All this school cares is about looking good and being first places.. looks more a competition than actually caring for our children's needs. Thank god my daughter is starting in a new school with more diversity .

What a great school! I wish I have attended this kind of school when I was a kid! Focused on drama,…read moreart, music...such a beautiful campus with roses and art everywhere. I loved my experience as interpreter there. Everyone so welcoming and happy! I learned today what is a 'magnet school' where they teach this type of curriculum and also you get to attend if the family wins the school lotto (so families are not attached to the zip code they live in).

The school culture has suffered. The kids still get more art here than at most public schools, but it's around the same amount of arts one should expect at a well funded public school (which are sadly few and far between these days) and the arts rotate rather than having every art every week. Still a great school, and they have continued to prioritize the IB Program, so their curriculum is rock solid. The teachers are excellent and the admin is accessible, the campus is spacious and cheerful, and everyone is doing their best. I hope the district realizes that funding the arts is an important priority, for myriad reasons. Every kid needs to have fluency and experience with the arts, just as they do with math and reading; I wish our education funding reflected that. Bottom line, still a great school; I'm still happy to be a part of it - it's not perfect, but it's still the best school in town for sure, and a unique and excellent mix of the arts and IB.

Worst experience ever. They are maxing out the number of…read morestudents per teacher using the hybrid model. You are not working side by side with the teacher so much as you are taking over for the teacher. They literally hand you a teacher's edition of a subject and expect you to without any training or education in it to be able to do exactly what the teachers are doing for the students. Actual teachers are trained all summer long and given so many tools after they gain their early education bachelors. The fact this school t the way they do so they can double up the amount of students each teacher can have is deplorable. Administration does not follow legal guidelines for special needs, accommodations and meetings. After multiple meetings, my daughter needed an evaluation further and was offered it. They never followed through and claimed later that they didn't know they were supposed to even do one. Wasted our entire year. Going to this school was absolutely pointless for my family and one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I regret everything about finding this school. Unless you want to literally have a unpaid job brimming with expectations and lack of support do not bother.

The supervision rate is much higher here so we didn't have any drama. They were supportive of alternative curriculum on C track to cater teaching approaches to your kids' needs. And even though with C track a lot of the days they are home with me, they have on campus social events, clubs and field trips. The leadership at this school is phenomenal at making people feel like they are part of something and that they belong. Thank you so much for such a great experience. We look forward to the next school year.

I'd rate this center a 3.5, but since that is not an option I am rounding up. Both of my children…read morehave attended this school in different programs over the past 4 years. Pros: The teaching staff is very friendly, accommodating, and caring. They accept a lot of different financial aid programs, so our children have been able to attend at very affordable rates. My youngest son is with Miss Ashton in room 3 and she's by far the best teacher he's had. She keeps the schedule exciting and diverse, is very upbeat, uses positive reinforcement and validation, has excellent communication with parents, and works with him individually based on his neurodivergent needs. Cons: There is a good amount of staff turnover, and there have been many occasions (with both of my kids) when I have dropped off or picked them up in a different room than their regular room due to staffing/attendance issues. This can cause stress and anxiety for some children, but can be exciting and a learning opportunity for others. My youngest son also went months without a lead teacher due to turnover. Communication from admin is not great. On one occasion our pickup time was extended and nobody informed us for over a year. Questions surrounding certain funding programs have not been answered. Conflicting and confusing information has been given by multiple staff during 2 large scale emergency situations (COVID with my oldest child and a recent flood causing an extended closure with my youngest). During both of these events, we were told by different staff and admin that our children both would and would not be able to attend. In both situations it seemed that staff and admin were not communicating with one another to deliver a cohesive message, nor was a plan being related to the families. One final note is that there are a good amount of children with neurodivergent and extra social/emotional needs. Since my youngest child is in this category it has allowed him to attend without fear of repercussions for his neurodivergence, but these needs also cause stress on the staff and the other children. Overall this center has provided our family with extremely adorable child care that has been (for the most part) reliable. It is nowhere near a small, individual experience for each child, nor does it focus a lot on kindergarten readiness, but it does offer a safe place for children to go while parents are working, and a lot of experience in social skills and structure for children.

Do not send your kids here, there are other options. Not a good place and members of the staff are…read morenot trustworthy
