We absolutely love this in-home daycare! From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and at ease. The environment is warm, clean, and inviting--just like a second home. It's clear that Misty and Blanca genuinely cares for every child, creating a nurturing and safe space where little ones can learn, play, and grow. My eldest daughter went to Hello Kiddie for 3 years and my second child has been there for a year now. Both of our girls blossomed since starting here. They come home every day excited to tell us about the books they've read, the songs they've sung, and the fun activities they've done. We're also so impressed with how much they've learned--everything from early literacy and numbers to sharing and social skills. They even learned a little bit of Spanish! The small group size allows for lots of personal attention, and we've noticed how well the provider knows our child's personality, needs, and milestones. Communication is excellent--we get regular updates, photos, and honest feedback that helps us stay involved. They are also super amazing with helping with potty training. If you're looking for a loving, reliable, and enriching daycare, this is it. We're so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our child to grow and thrive! read more

Hello Kiddie Daycare was a wonderful experience for our family. The staff is incredibly caring and really pays attention to both the emotional and educational needs of the kids. My daughter always felt safe and loved there, and it showed in how excited she was to go each day. By the time she started kindergarten, she already knew how to write her name and read basic words. It was the perfect foundation, and I'm so grateful for the thoughtful, supportive environment they created. read more

Misty and Blanca are absolutely amazing! My son has been going for over a year and he absolutely loves going! The knowledge program that they have is wonderful. My son has been with Misty and Blanca for over 2 years and his transition has been night and day! When Kane started he was in speech therapy possibly knowing 10 words. Now he is Mr. Gossip and bilingual. These two ladies are so calm and patient with the kiddos. They know all the kid's strengths and weaknesses and work on them. Kane will be going into Kindergarten a step above the rest because of Kiddie Daycare! Thank you Misty and Blanca for all the Mother's Day handmade gifts, birthday parties, and making my son into the man he is today. read more

We're a military family so finding a place you can trust with your little when you're so new to the environment can be hard. After interviewing a few other places I found I was most impressed with Setup of Hello Kiddie. I felt Misty gave the best impression of a place that would care for my daughter on a personal level. After a month of care I was confident in this notion especially in interacting with those who assisted day to day. My daughter looked forward to her days at Hello Kiddie and it was bittersweet to say goodbye. If you want a warm environment where you can be sure your child is cared for on a basic AND personal level I highly recommend. read more

The staff is amazing super attentive and you can tell that they care and love what they do!!!

I absolutely LOVE Hello Kiddie DayCare! Misty and her team are outstanding in every facet. I moved to Oceanside and was looking for a great daycare for my girls. I came across Hello Kiddie but had always been skeptical of home daycare. But after meeting with Misty and speaking to some parents I enrolled my girls... one of the best decisions I've ever made! My girls love going to daycare and they're learning a ton. My eldest goes over her Spanish every day after daycare. I feel 100% comfortable dropping my girls off at Hello Kiddie, I know they will be cared for, safe, have fun and learn... I couldn't ask for more. read more

Our daughter has been enrolled with Misty for the passed few months and we are extremely happy with the care we receive. Our daughter is 2, and we have noticed that her speech has greatly improved since attending. She is constantly singing new songs, can count to 20 on her own and up to 10 in Spanish, and she is also talking in complete sentences. She also comes home with a different art project almost every day. They accept ages 2-5, so it's nice to see her interact with older kids. Misty pays great attention to detail and really gives her all to the kids. She celebrates each birthday and all holidays. They recently had a Christmas pageant where the kids performed songs for the parents and Santa Claus visited. read more

Our daughter has been attending Hello Kiddie Daycare for a couple of years, and are very happy with the care that Misty, Blanca, and the whole has staff has provided her. When we first enrolled her she was timid and unsure of new people after being at home through Covid, but now she looks forward to going learn, play with her friends, and often to enjoy Misty's breakfast instead of what we prepare. We feel very fortunate to have found Hello Kiddie, and that we know our daughter will be ready for TK in the Fall. read more

Our young 2 year old daughter has been enrolled with Misty at Hello Kiddie Daycare for the last two months and it has been such a great decision for our family and little one. Misty is so sweet and caring, she genuinely loves kids and makes it her mission to provide love and care for all of the little's in her program. I love that Misty has set a schedule/routine for the kids including a circle time, working on numbers, letters, colors, shapes, etc... Misty always organizes art projects with the kids and provides nutritious meals. Her helper, Blanca, is also amazing, great with the kids and very caring. My husband and I both feel at ease with our daughter at Hello Kiddie and I would recommend this in-home daycare to anyone in the area! read more

I wanted to bring my kids to a smaller more personal daycare setting and have been taking my kids to Hello Kiddie Daycare for 5 years; my kids absolutely love it. They provide breakfasts, lunch, and snacks and encourage the kids to stay hydrated throughout the day. I was surprised to hear my kids say some Spanish words the center taught them! Whenever I pick my kids up at the end of the day it is difficult to get them out the door because they have so much fun. The kids have a lot of outdoor play at the playground close by. They are always festive with the holidays, have a summer luau party with Moana, and always plan something special for the parents on Mother's Day & Father's Day. I always appreciate when the teachers update me on how my children's day went, it's easy to see that the people at hello kiddie daycare love what they do. read more

We are moving out of state and I am so bummed we can't take them with us! This is the first daycare I've found that my son has never cried being dropped off at. BEST DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL AROUND !!! We absolutely adore Ms.Misty and Ms.Blanca and Ms. Leslie . They are with our son all day teaching him and showing him how to do all the big boy stuff making sure he feels loved and secure at the same time . They are more than childcare providers they are part of "our village" And it makes me so happy to know if i cannot be home with my son he is extremely well cared for . Hello Kiddie Daycare has been a lifesaver. Leaving your kid all day is hard in itself, but Blanca and Misty both are so wonderful you won't even think twice about dropping your kid off. I never worry about my daughter when she's in their care. My child has never come home with a diaper rash or an unexplained bruise/scrape.. and that speaks volumes. The price they charge is reasonable as they include breakfast, snack and lunch. My daughter is always coming home with something new.. a project or language! She's two and can count to ten in English and Spanish. They celebrate each birthday and holiday which is fun for the kids as there is something always to look forward to. My daughter doesn't even want to leave when I pick her up and calls for Blanca over the weekends at home lol! I couldn't thank them enough even if I wanted to. read more

They are very professional and provided us with updates as the day went with pictures when my daughter was new and adjusting. I highly recommend this day care and so happy we found it. read more

Hello Kiddie is a pretty awesome daycare! My daughter just loves it there - she gets so excited when we drop her off in the mornings. Misty communicates very well and she is always keeping me informed of what type of day my daughter had. As first time parents, its always nerve-racking when trying to find care for your little one, but Misty put our minds at ease, and the way my daughter interacted with her let me know that she would be in a safe, friendly environment. I highly recommend! read more

Our 2-year-old has been going to Hello Kiddie Day Care for the past 4 months and we couldn't be happier with our decision for the care of our little girl. Misty and her assistant Blanca provide a fun and safe environment for the kids that include social interaction as well as learning through story time and arts and crafts. We like the communication we have received from Misty and Blanca about our little one's progress and general activities throughout the day. We also appreciate their attention to their nutritious meals and regular cleaning of toys and books. The happiness our little girl expresses when going to see Misty and Blanca and all her Friends at Hello Kiddie, shows my wife and I that we made the right decision. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a conscientious and caring in-home daycare provider. read more

I had high hopes that Hello Kiddie Daycare would work for our family. The location is perfect for us (super close to home), rates are affordable and comparable to other home daycares in the area, and meals are provided (breakfast, lunch, snack). I also really liked the home environment versus the center environment for my twin girls since they had barely turned two when we started. Misty has a ton of toys/books/stuffed animals for the kids to play with. They have circle time and a different art activity planned every day. One of my twins picked up the days of the week in Spanish and is now counting in both English and Spanish. Although it is probably mostly rote memorization at this point, it is super cute to hear her reciting the days of the week in Spanish around the house. Weather permitting, the kids get to play outside every day (once in the backyard, once at the park nearby). I also appreciate Misty's enthusiasm for all of the holidays and that she throws a little birthday party for each kid. My experience with having fraternal twins with very different personalities and working full-time is that it can be challenging to find a daycare/preschool environment that is the right fit for both children. My mellower kiddo has some extra needs that Misty/Blanca were good about accommodating, which I really appreciated. Despite being maxed out at 12 kids almost every day (numbers were lower when we started, which IMO was way better given the small environment) and the fact that the kids watch TV before naptime every day, I would have considered keeping her there longer had it not been for the way that Misty went about giving us notice for my other daughter, which I found to be extremely unprofessional. My other kiddo is very high energy and had an increasingly difficult time at this daycare. I do think that they did the best that they could but I also know that her behavior frustrated them and it showed. The apparent lack of knowledge about basic behavior management exacerbated the situation. In the end, I just do not think it is the best environment for a high-energy or strong-willed child. read more

Misty and Blanca are so kind and patient. I have been taking my son to Hello Kiddie for over a year and he has become so much more confident and loves being there. Misty and Blanca have so many activities planned and projects for the kids to do. I love seeing all the creative things they do and have run out of space to put all of his projects! read more

Both of my daughters attended Hello Kiddie from the time they turned 2 until they started kindergarden. Misty does a great job of providing the kids with a fun interactive learning experience with the kids learning new songs, learning spanish, creating creative art projects and just treating the kids in such a loving sweet manner. How we miss seeing her and her helpers. They're a great team and I couldn't recommend a better location for learning and fun for kids! read more

I love Misty and Hello Kiddie Daycare. I currently have one child attending and one graduate! My first was there from age 2 until he started Kindergarten last year. He was so well prepared for school with the great learning and socializing skills he received at HKD! His reading, writing and creativity was quite advanced when he started school which has made his first year experience a positive one! My daughter has been there about a year and at age 3 she can already read a little! She loves going there so I feel happy when I drop her off and can go to work knowing my child is well protected and genuinely cared for. I am so grateful that I found this place and thankful to Misty and her helpers for the quality care my children have received. Many thanks! read more

Misty is such an amazing person, and unbelievable with children. My daughter was in her preschool from about 2 1/2 until she started kindergarten and she began kindergarten so far ahead of all of her peers and that has given her such a confidence boost that I can 100% attribute to Misty's kind and caring attitude and strong work ethic with the children. She is also so understanding and calm with all the children in her care it has always amazed me! I recommend Misty and Hello Kiddie daycare to everyone! read more

I've known Misty for a few years now and she is the best! When we moved to Oceanside, my youngest went to Hello Kiddie until she started Elementary School. It is a fun and loving place for her to be. My son has been going to Hello Kiddie for just 3 months now, but what an incredible experience it has been! Going in, we were concerned he was delayed in speech and 3 months later, not only is he a non stop chatter box, but he knows his colors in English and Spanish, numbers 1-20 in English and 1-10 in Spanish, and on his days off from daycare he begs to go to daycare. Misty and Blanca are incredible care takers and educators, and the level of patience I've seen them demonstrate is admirable. I love that meals are included and that they somehow manage to get my picky toddler to actually eat! He comes home with art projects and stories of his fun days, and is always exhausted from the activities which keep him mentally and physically engaged! I can't say enough great things about our experience and love seeing the transformation in our little guy in such a short time - but love even more that HE loves it! read more
