We have nothing but good things to say about TLE Oceanside. Our son started in May of 2025 as a 3 year old who had only been with family prior to and was expecting a little brother in June of 2025. The staff was so welcoming during our tour, they made us feel at home. Since, we have developed some amazing relationships with everyone! They have been flexible with our schedule changes. You do not have to fit into a cookie cutter schedule, ours went from M, Th, F to 5 days a week. They have early drop off (at 7AM) and pick up as late at 6PM! There was a leadership change recently and the staff handled it amazingly. The New Director, Ms. Suzette, is so on top of it, she is super approachable, gives us multiple notices about upcoming events so we don't miss out and has even started a Teacher of the Month program. For a group of people who already had great morale, she has made the team even stronger! Our son is very kind and somewhat timid when you first meet him. Ms. Kylee has made him feel confident and comfortable trying and doing new things. Watching him grow in her class has been amazing! He has come home using sign language, singing songs, teaching us how to do yoga and so much more. She even helped us on his potty training journey! When we do things as a family on the weekend, he always says he wants to tell Ms. Kylee when he goes back to school "tomorrow". Even the owner, Ms. Segal, has taken the time to get to know us and has really helped us get comfortable quickly. As a busy mom herself, she has so much patience and understanding when it comes to making sure our babies are taken care of. When choosing a school, we read reviews. TLE was regarded as family friendly and I couldn't agree more! They hold multiple family activities throughout the year from Ice Cream Socials to Foam Day to Trunk of Treat to Ornament Decorating.. Our children have attended TLE since June 2025. My son started when he was 1.5 years old and his teachers have all been amazing (shout out to Miss Jazmine). My 6 month old daughter started 2 weeks ago and she has never been able to take a bottle so that was a concern with her starting daycare. Miss Brandi has been so great and patient with my daughter and has been a miracle worker getting my daughter to take the bottle. I feel so lucky that I know both my children are well-cared for at TLE! read more

TLE has been the most welcoming, caring, and most importantly safe place for our daughter. Everyone from management to the teachers know your child by name, and care about all of the families and children at the center. There hasn't been one time that a teacher hasn't said good morning. They are always so excited to see my daughter when she is dropped off and she loves going to school. I LOVE getting updates during the day, it really helps when we are working to know she is having a good day. They make the learning days fun for kids, and are so engaging. Every teacher at the Learning Experience takes an active interest in the children, even if they are not their primary teacher. They work hard to make the children feel comfortable during drop off time so it's a good handoff for parent and child. I love the different activities that even the infants get to participate in. Being a working mom and looking for adequate day care is hard. From my 1st experience with the staff at The Learning Center I knew I found the perfect place for my daughter to go. Their attention to detail, the safe and nurturing environment that they have puts them at the top of my list when it comes to child care. I was a super nervous first time mom, but TLE has been great with my infant son. They really worked with us to make the transition as easy as possible, and he clearly looks forward to going each day. We moved my son to TLE at the end of January and it has been a very pleasant experience. My son attended another daycare that, over time, seemed to be going downhill as far as how it was managed (there always seemed to be too many children for the amount of teachers in the classroom, cleanliness wasn't up to standard, etc). So, it was time to transition to something new. The learning experience is right around the corner from my work so that already was a plus. The facility is less than a year old and much bigger than a lot of other places I've toured. They only have 8 children per age group/class and 2 teachers per class. They have a very cool learning curriculum. Every month there is a new 'theme' that all the classes are learning about. For example, when my son started, the theme was traveling around the world. They even had an imagination room where the teachers set up airport store fronts, an air plane, baggage check and other things for the kids to play with in their 'make believe' fantasy room. Adorable. My son is in the toddler class. While they have a very large And wonderful outdoor playground, the kids obviously have to stay in when it rains. During those days, they're still able to do various activities in one of the larger indoor rooms- play and crawl through tunnels they set up and play with this big interactive, touchscreen learning tool exclusive to TLE called 'L.E.A.P' Anyway, if you're looking for a great place with people who sincerely care about your kiddos, this is the place. read more

Being that maternity leave for some is very short, leaving their baby with anyone can cause parents to go the extra mile with research. With the intent of finding the best care for their children. I recommend TLE through and through. They treat our kids with so much care, patience and respect. The communication with the app is great. The staff are phenomenal. My hubby, 2 year old and I toured the Learning Experience. The Director was very friendly and engaging about the exciting plans occurring for new year in the toddler room. My son was engaged with the toys, the playground and IT playroom. I toured about 8 places and this place seemed friendly and care about the children and families. We are so happy with our decision to choose The Learning Experience- Oceanside for our 3 year old. Nikole, the director was wonderful to speak with over the phone as we were not able to tour the school before moving here. The enrollment process was seamless and our daughter was able to start right away. From day one our daughter has walked right into the school every morning and is welcomed by her name and a smile (under the mask). She absolutely loves it there and is sad on the weekends when she doesn't have school. We love the app with updates and pictures throughout the day. The school takes the kids safety seriously and the precautions put into place due to Covid have eased our minds. Last year we moved to a new neighborhood so I looked for a good school for my daughter who was 3 and a half. I visited many schools in the area but when I met with Sajal the owner and had a tour at her school I was finally relieved to find the best place for my little one. Sajal the owner is very friendly and very honest, she makes you feel very comfortable. The staff is awesome, Mrs Nicole the director is very professional. The classrooms are always clean very well decorated and have all the necessary supplies. The food is provided and very healthy. My daughter spent the whole year there, she was a happy girl and very sad to move to preK now that she is four and a half. read more

Absolutely love this place. As first time parents, I was so nervous on leaving my then 13-week-old to go back to work, but it was the best decision we ever made. The owner and staff are very welcoming and have a huge attention to detail to everything when it comes to their unique curriculum, cleanliness and safety of all the kids in the school. She is 9 months now and TLE Oceanside has helped her learn and grow; her development just amazes us! I love getting her daily activity feeds from the school mobile app and when she brings home all the beautiful artwork she makes. Do not be misled! While the building might appear to be a nice place, the owner is terrible & can't keep her teachers/staff. The classroom are way over ratio! Everything is for show! While the kitchen looks like crap cause no one cleans it. Don't bring your kids here, serious ANT problem as well as trash cans overflowing constantly outside on playground. I will always be so grateful for TLE and their staff. We found them after almost giving up hope on what was out there in terms of good quality, reliable childcare. We visited numerous places, interviewed countless babysitters and nothing seemed to give us the peace of mind that I needed in order to go back to work knowing that my precious 3 month old baby was going to be in good hands. Since the first time I stepped into TLE, I got the feeling that they know exactly what they are doing and that they strive to be the best in their industry. As you look deeper into what they are about and what they work for, you realize that they, not only are an example for childcare services but also are a great group of people that individually work very hard to make everyone feel like they are part of a family. My daughter never cries when I drop her off. She loves her teacher Ms. Nicole, one of the most amazing infant teachers out there, she is so engaged with the kids, knows their individual needs, keeps constant communication with us parents and puts a genuine effort into making everything in her power to help the babies adapt to their new home away from home, I lost count of the many times I see my baby's face light up with a big smile as soon as she sees her and that right there is priceless and so comforting. One thing that is unique and wonderful about TLE is that my daughter doesn't have just one person to help with her care, the support from everyone in the TLE staff is immense, all of them, from the Assistant director, the Director, the owner, to the teachers and aids, are so involved and have stepped in to help me nurture and take care of my daughter at times that I had to be away from her. They do an outstanding Job. This place has been a blessing and I love the journey that my baby has had. She is such a happy, thriving little baby and I know she truly enjoys the time she spends at TLE. Highly recommend them. read more

We are SO lucky to have gotten our son into TLE. We'd been looking for a while around Oceanside and happened to call TLE at exactly the right time to start our son in the infant classroom. First of all, the facility itself is amazing. It's bright and colorful, and the outdoor area is beautiful. Even the infants get outdoor time which was important to us. We're big fans of the curriculum and how it incorporates the use of technology and keeps everything fun for the kids. The biggest thing for us though is how much everyone cares. Sejal, the owner, and her whole family are so welcoming and genuinely get to know and care about each and every child there. Jessica, the lead infant teacher, is FANTASTIC, and so are Amber and Jeanette. We really love everything they do with the babies from sensory tables to adorable art projects to bring home. By all accounts I should have been a mess dropping my son off for the first time (first baby and all...), but dropping him off the first and every day after is honestly easier than leaving him with family. I know he is going to be so well cared for and have such a fun time every day. Bottom line, definitely check out TLE, and bring your checkbook. I absolutely LOVE The Learning Experience in Oceanside! My daughter is 3 1/2 and started on the first day they opened. The owner Sejal is amazing, she is extremely involved and sincerely cares about our daughters' well-being and growth! Ms. Desire the Center Director is also excellent, if you have any questions about your childs' educational needs/goals, she's the one to ask. You will feel right at home here. I've toured every school you could imagine from Oceanside to Carlsbad, and I can say with 100% confidence we made the best decision for our daughter to attend this one of a kind school. The curriculum is by-far the best I have ever seen (especially at this age level)! My daughter asks to go to school every day. Her teacher, Gizelle is so kind, loving and sweet. You can tell she loves teaching and truly cares about each child. Gizelle always gives me a report at the end of the day on how our daughters day was. She also takes the time to talk with me in the morning and afternoon on her progress. I know our daughter will thrive at this school! They even have a Summer program which is packed with fun and learning (oh, and did I mention a water splash pad, a huge L.E.A.P. Interactive board, Enrichment programs which are included in tuition and the Make Believe Boulevard room you will have to see to believe)! I also get pictures sent to me throughout the day of all the fun activities she does.
