Worst experience ever. They are maxing out the number of…read morestudents per teacher using the hybrid model. You are not working side by side with the teacher so much as you are taking over for the teacher. They literally hand you a teacher's edition of a subject and expect you to without any training or education in it to be able to do exactly what the teachers are doing for the students. Actual teachers are trained all summer long and given so many tools after they gain their early education bachelors. The fact this school t the way they do so they can double up the amount of students each teacher can have is deplorable. Administration does not follow legal guidelines for special needs, accommodations and meetings. After multiple meetings, my daughter needed an evaluation further and was offered it. They never followed through and claimed later that they didn't know they were supposed to even do one. Wasted our entire year. Going to this school was absolutely pointless for my family and one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I regret everything about finding this school. Unless you want to literally have a unpaid job brimming with expectations and lack of support do not bother.

The supervision rate is much higher here so we didn't have any drama. They were supportive of alternative curriculum on C track to cater teaching approaches to your kids' needs. And even though with C track a lot of the days they are home with me, they have on campus social events, clubs and field trips. The leadership at this school is phenomenal at making people feel like they are part of something and that they belong. Thank you so much for such a great experience. We look forward to the next school year.

Just giving my ID and proceeding to get my badge and going to the meeting room/class was very smooth. Very friendly teachers and personnel. I could see how they care so much about their students. Everybody respects the time of everyone so meeting was on point and on time. I love the decored wall in the patio. So lovely and full of life. If you are a visitor be aware that most probably you will have to park outside the school because it seems to be very busy at least at the time that I went and there are not many parking spots. This school is located close to a couple of orchid nurseries which a plus to the already beautiful scenery of Vista.

She singled her out for "talking too much" and made her desk an island for over 3 months and never spoke to me about it and when I asked her about it she got snippy with me saying she talks a lot and I should have came to parent teacher conference, I was not able to attend considering I work nights and was very pregnant and have a 1 year old as well. But what 1st grader doesn't talk a lot? My child changed school and now she wakes up earlier than expected because she's so excited to go to school and she's excelling!

My daughter is in her second year at Native School and we cannot say enough good things about it!…read moreUnfortunately there has been some bad publicity because a former employee (trying to steal students away to a competing school she was opening) fed parents misinformation that scared them, including launching a really personal attack against the amazing director, Shannon, who is an incredibly transparent and thoughtful preschool director. She hosts regular meetings for parents to talk to her and will also always be happy to hop on a meeting any afternoon to discuss any questions and concerns. The program itself stood out to me immediately for being a really good supportive model for development. The students are not playing "Lord of the Flies" out in the woods, they are guided and supported by amazing teachers who spend their afternoons writing documentation of the learning in their classrooms and designing emergent curriculum. We could not be happier with the school we chose and our daughter loves school passionately. We have even decided to keep her in Native School another year instead of moving to the free public TK because of how much we love the program and the teachers.

***Warning to parents*** My experience with the teachers…read morewas generally good but you could tell there was a disconnect between them and upper management due to the high turnover rate and disruption in teacher continuity. The frequent and disruptive staff changes significantly effected my 4 year old son who was upset to see teachers come and go. At the end of our semester for 2024-2025 it became worse and substitutes/new faces were very common. We were told by some teachers that quit that safety regs/guidelines were not being followed(especially on rainy/stormy days). All that being said, we decided to pull our child out from the Fall 2025 semester. We had already paid for it but we figured we would be returned our reservation money due to the circumstances. Management refused our first attempt to reimburse us even after my child's spot was filled(Bad business etiquette). So here we are with our reviews and our next steps will be small claims. In the contract it states that they will maintain a consistent and properly staffed program...That was not our experience.
