Our daughter has been attending LLA since she was 3 and is now 4.5. We are so impressed with how much Spanish she speaks coming from a non-Spanish speaking household. It has inspired not only us to learn Spanish but also her grandparents, aunts and uncles. The classes are small, the teachers are wonderful, the activities are engaging. She always comes home with the best stories and (singing, crafts, soccer, water slide in the summers, etc). She's made some of her best friends here as well. As my first baby, I was extremely nervous to put her in any type of care outside of home. I did some extensive research for daycares and pre schools throughout San Marcos and La Costa and out of the 10 + others I interviewed in person, I immediately knew this was the school for us. The teachers and Laura were so kind and supportive to me and my daughter who can be a little bit of a wallflower at first. My daughter has been coming here for two years now, and she absolutely loves it! The teachers do a fantastic job of differentiation, academic rigor, and playfulness. They are flexible with all different temperaments and abilities of children. The love that they have really shows. My husband is a native Spanish speaker so learning this language means a lot to our family. This year, she goes five days a week. As a result, she is now speaking fluent Spanish. These teachers have a strong commitment to the language. They talk a lot to the children. They read a lot to the children. Everything is so thoroughly verbal; it is evident in my daughters Spanish Speaking skills. I recommend this school very highly. I'm the Director at Petit Lion Language Academy and when my oldest son aged out of my program (1-4 yrs) I wanted to continue his Spanish and be in a classroom with older children to prepare for Kindergarten. Little Language Ambassadors was such a smooth and easy transition for him . He liked going right away and I could hear his Spanish vocabulary continue to improve. I like that the school is still on the smaller side for a commercial preschool I believe 5 classrooms total. The owner Laura was always flexible with me if I needed to request aftercare for later pick up which was helpful and greatly appreciated. I know what you're thinking - how can it be possible this place has only five stars?! The truth is - it absolutely deserves them. One tour was all it took for my family to know this was the perfect place to send our child. Our daughter has attended Little Language Ambassadors preschool program for the past school year and we could not be happier. The staff is amazing! From her main teacher Estefania, to the support teachers, her music teacher, Enrique, and the administrator, Laura: everyone is kind to her and makes her feel special. Enrique has achieved rock star status in our home - we listen to his CDs in the car, and our daughter often says the highlight of her day is music class. The best part is how much she has learned. We can't believe how many Spanish words she speaks and understands. She loves her school more than anything - and often complains when we pick her up that she wants to stay longer. Lastly - we have been incredibly impressed with how the school has implemented safety procedures amidst covid-19 -- and has worked diligently to keep the school open, keeping teachers and students safe. Highly recommend! We have toured and attended MANY preschools with our older child and therefore we are making a very informed recommendation. What is most impressive about LLA is the clear emphasis on LANGUAGE ACQUISITION. We cannot get over how much our 3 year old comprehends AND speaks after just one year, 3 days a week. All of the teachers are incredible, it has a tight knit small community feel, and most of all, they value music as a teaching tool and have a full time FANTASTIC music teacher that works in all classes daily. My two year old has been attending the "bebe's" program twice a week now since November and loves it. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, nurturing, responsive to the needs of the children, and practice open communication. The outside play area nicely complements the colorful inside classrooms. My only complaint, and this may be because they are new and still trying to figure things out, is that they changed the "change of class" policy in the middle of the school year. Originally when I signed all her admission paperwork, we were allowed to miss and make up three classes as well as change an entire week of classes to another week, with a small administrative fee. But as of February, due to being at capacity, they no longer offer change of class. We are considering enrolling in more days for the fall! read more

Raising our daughters bilingual is extremely important to us. We want them to have the all advantages that bilingual children have. We also know that the younger a child is when they start learning a second language the easier it is for him/her. I had heard of Super Spanish through one of my cousins. She sent all 3 of her children there. Because of this I enrolled my older daughter (now in Kindergarten) in Super Spanish. She absolutely LOVED going there! She was in the Grandecitos program. The teachers are awesome! She loved seeing and working with Anamaría, Azarely, Gaby, & especially el maestro Enrique (I think all kids love maestro Enrique). The open houses are great because you get to see everyone in action. Aileen, director of admissions, is always friendly and willing to help. My younger daughter could't wait to start going to Super Spanish. She just started this September. She was so excited during the weeks leading up the start of school. All three of our children have attended Super Spanish for pre-school and after-school over the past five years. My youngest is in her last year of pre-K here and my two elementary-agers attend grade level (and above) after-school programs. The teachers and staff at Super Spanish are excellent, accommodating and they truly care about their work and their students. They create a fun learning environment for their students. Learning a 2nd language early in life is crucial. Studies show that children's brains develop differently when they are exposed to a 2nd language before age 5, as a result, these children benefit academically in many other areas for the rest of their lives. We wanted our kids to have this benefit, and thankfully, when we went looking, we found Super Spanish. We feel the early exposure to a 2nd language has truly helped our children as they excel in school, particularly in reading and writing. My 2nd grader is fully bilingual, discussing science and math in Spanish, reading and writing in Spanish, and communicating with native Spanish speakers with ease. And my younger two are well on their way. We know the staff and teachers at Super Spanish always have our children's best interest at heart. My daughter started at LLA this year and loves it! In our home I speak Spanish to her, but she would refuse to speak any Spanish to me even though she understands it. However, since starting at the school she is more confident in responding in Spanish and even sings songs in Spanish. She has learned to start writing and learning the alphabet in Spanish. The teachers and staff are very friendly, professional, and really care about our children. If you are looking for a full Spanish immersion preschool I would highly recommend LLA! read more

This is an amazing school. The teachers and staff at the school are exceptional. They are very welcoming, caring, and patient with kids. They engage kids in activities in a fun way. I loved the music component offered by Maestro Enrique (who is also a professional musician). Enrique plays the guitar for kids and gets them singing songs in Spanish. My son loved going to school and was singing and communicating in Spanish within weeks of being enrolled in the program. I cannot say enough great things about this school! My son has been here for over 2 years and has enjoyed every minute. He has learned SO much and his Spanish is near perfect! The teachers are absolutely fantastic - warm, nurturing and loving. They truly care for each child and work with them in very small group settings to help them learn and thrive. They are like an extended family and my son adores each of them. Enrique is an amazing music teacher who teaches them Spanish through song and instruments, so much that my son walks around our house with his little ukulele, singing songs in Spanish! I just wish I spoke Spanish so that I could understand the lyrics! We just signed him up for the after-Kindergarten program so that he can maintain, and progress his Spanish. My daughter has been attending super spanish for a year and a half and we couldn't be happier. We left a school that used iPads as entertainment and was run like a business. Just stepping into Super Spanish you could feel the warmth from the staff. The tour left me with no choice, I had to get my daughter into this school. We've been so incredibly pleased ever since. Enrique not only sings and plays guitar to the kids, he engages them and teaches them without them even knowing. When my daughter was new and shy he was so great at finding a way to get her involved and love her new school. Each staff member shows so much love for the kids and each other. It's a very unique and warm environment. I feel so safe leaving her in their loving care. My husband nor I speak Spanish fluently so we were worried she wouldn't pick it up as easily.
