    Chicken Tender Melt

I came to grab a bite before going to the Opera HD, a long show and I needed some sustenance. Nice bar with seating at the front and outside. I sat by the window, noticed only the bartender and approached her. Do I have to order here? Yes, was the answer, and I'll bring to you the food when is ready. The counter bar had the majority of the customers. I got a Stella and Chicken Tender Melt with Macaroni Salad as the side. The Sandwich came and it was a good size sandwich full of Chicken and Cheese,Tomato on Rye Bread. Very good. Pickle slices and the Macaroni Salad the best I've eaten in a long time. Creamy and delicious with the right amount of tartness. The smooth Stella was a perfect compliment Service was friendly. Now, I have another alternative place to eat in the area.

I would like to start with a special shout-out to the Bar Managers Triston & Dylan. They really are the stars of the show here. When I walked in I was immediately greeted in a very welcoming manner. I found my seat at the bar and was handed a food menu, coaster, glass of water, hand sanitizer, and given some time to decide if, and what, I wanted to drink. I ordered some chicken wings, fried hard, and some fries (my usual bar food). Without a second thought Dylan brought over some ketchup, napkins, and utensils well within 60 seconds of my order, and my food came shortly thereafter. Triston made me a delicious "Spicy Margarita" that rivals even the best of cocktails. I don't know what made it spicy, but it definitely had a nice kick to it. Food was delicious, service was amazing, and I had a great time in the atmosphere of the bar while watching the game. I hear that Tuesday is Taco Trivia night, so I will definitely be returning to experience that. Thank you, guys!

Went here looking for a dive like bar to sit and chill at. This was perfect for that it's the exact description of a dive bar. So being a dive bar the place is dive in decor and set up for it too with the bar in the center and small tables around. The service is slow ... But that's okay if you become a regular you can order in your own drinks... I saw a guy doing it, seriously. The food is just average too. So if you're looking for a dive bar it's perfect but nothing too great.

I've been to Temple a few times. Most recently was too try it the all you can eat breakfast on a Sunday morning before the city went back Orange and Red. I'd already eaten but saw a post from a friend, want full, thought I'd try it. I had pancakes, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuit, Bloody Mary. It was ok, but not fantastic. For the $10 a couple of diners a couple miles away have much better food. My previous visits were for burgers - vegetarian and Angus - before events at either the Little or RoCo. Plus fries and a beer. Much better fare. I think they're trying to round up some business when the cut is yellow or better but they could do better on what I sampled for breakfast. Don't be afraid to go for lunch or dinner burger route fare.

Really the burgers are good. The $9.99 special on Wednesday as stated on the website is false as of spring 2019 it's $11.99 but it's worth the extra $2.00. Lots of toppings, hot crispy fries, cooked perfectly to order. The 5 alarm burger was so flavorful without being overly spicy. Totally recommend stopping in for a burger.

Ok so driving down east Ave today I came across this cool looking bar area in a tent set up. The Temple bar and grill 109 east ace has one set up. It's set up for a party of four, cozy and isolated from the outside elements. Check it out next time your in the area. Ave. Them Scott sent u. Enjoy your visit.

I got the pork belly BLT delivered to me and loved it! Almost too big to eat with your hands, I had to take out some of the pork belly and eat it individually I can't speak to the rest of their menu or service but my food was good!

These are the wings so good!!!

When we entered the sports bar the tunes were going and drinks were flowing, definitely a place I can see as hopping for events. We were seated in the back and luckily we knew what we wanted to order, I split some tenders with the little yelper and misses ordered the mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were nice crispy and had that cheese stretch which is always good. The tenders though, hand breaded which is nice but they were really overcooked, to the point the breading had that weird taste to it. Neither of us were really impressed by the 3 tenders, but we powered down 2 of them thanks to some ketchup , Nashville hot and bleu cheese. As great as the waitress was , next time it'll be just beverages.

The Caesar was adequate with a fair portion of add-on chicken. The chili was sub-par: thin and soup like, not many beans or beef. The bartender was more interested in talking with her friends and family and taking care of other customers by follow-up. Would I repeat? In a pinch if I had. O other choice.

Service was really slow because they were understaffed for the size of the crowd. But the servers were attentive and nobody had an attitude like they didn't want to help you. They were clearly working their tushies off. The chicken tenders are beer battered which was a little bizarre but also not bad. The poutine, and all the other fried potato options, are clearly frozen from a bag but fine. I would definitely go back to try drink specials or the hot wings. In other words, I'd go back for the bar.

When we arrived we asked about the drink specials and the waiter seemed clueless about them. There was no menu with them listed or at least he said there wasn't one. So he attempted to verbally give us the choices but he wasn't sure about the ingredients for many of them. If you're going to promote your drinks is it too much to have a menu with them? So we get our drink (chose the seasonal milkshake) and omg it is nothing like the promoted pictures. Pretty sure it's missing an entire ingredient (caramel), it's watery and lackluster. I would have been much more successful with a blender at home. Then to top off this oh so great experience, our waiter was just rude. He was so not open to answering any questions or guiding us. This was our first time here and it felt like he couldn't be bothered. When he brought our drinks he essentially just disappeared. And it wasn't crowded so it's not like he was tending to tons of tables, it felt like he was avoiding our table. It's was super strange and definitely not welcoming. I am in no hurry to return, this experience really soured our day. It seems like their advertisements are just smoke and mirrors. Don't waste your time.

Jerk wings to start, 1/4 chicken (I went with thigh and deum instead of breast and wing), beef brisket, side of Cajun corn, roasted whipped sweet potatoes, organe cream soda, and key lime pie for the dessert. First off, wings were delish and a great way to start. Then the entrees was a good portion. I was hesitant to try Cajun corn again since the last place I tried it was very unfulfilling. But here it was delish. Sweet potato were solid. Chicken was not dry at all, and brisket was tender and smokey. Soda was not too heavy, and the key lime pie was so so good (but honestly I should have gotten it to go as it was too much food). Overall, this place was wonderful.
