They offer you the low end of Kelley blue book and then try to charge you 2500 to refurbish a car that needs no work. The refurbish charge is to increase profit and has no basis in law. If you doubt ask them for detailed statement of services the make up the cost. Also not forthright about msrp. He also helped protect our interest in the car when another family came in to look at it when we were still deciding whether to purchase it or not. Although we had hoped for some more room for negotiation on the sales price of the pre-owned car, the sales manager kindly explained to us their pricing model, which was very competitive and offered a great value as a starting point. Our conversation felt very genuine and transparent, and she was still willing and able to work with us where they could have some wiggle room on other things. Although there was a bit of a delay waiting for the finance department to close the deal, once we were able to meet with the finance manager, Christiano Valencia, we were so relieved to have his help. He really was the one to save the day when my husband and I came a bit unprepared to finalize our car deal. We came from out of town (forgetting our checkbook and certain necessary bank cards), on a bank holiday, so our options for how to pay the down payment were somewhat limited by those constraints. Most shops are well below $150 for the same service. On top of that I requested shuttle service when I booked my appointment and had to wait 50 minutes before I was able to get a ride 1 mile down the road. The new management is absolutely terrible. Adam in Service has taken great care of us. We had to replace the battery in our 2013 es300h (it was the original Panasonic battery from 2013). In addition, he had our car washed and vacuumed, which is always a nice touch (some dealerships don't do that anymore). When I came in to pickup the car, I mentioned that our 2015 Sienna was low on window washing cleaner fluid and should I use a certain brand of cleaner. He told us to pull the Sienna up and they would take care of it for us. This is a good example of going above and beyond for a customer. We will only take our 2 vehicles to this dealer.
