Can't say enough about the friendly attitude, service and helpful advice these guys give! Real close to home so very convenient too! It must have been about 2 years ago when my daughter jumped in a swimming pool at at a birthday party with her phone in her back pocket.. After a good tongue lashing we explored our options. I stopped in and spoke with Adde and he explained while he could fix a phone with water damage, he could not guarantee everything would work correctly. This was his honest opinion instead of just taking our money. He then suggested that the Apple Store should give us a credit for the damaged phone, which was great advice. That's just what we did, and were able to upgrade to newer model too! I think they gave us a $150 credit on the spot. Fast forward to now, I needed a glass screen protector for my newer SE model. The first thing he asked me is "are you on Yelp?" I said, "Yes, I am." The check-in offers a $5 off any repair, but he gave me the screen protector for free since he only charges $5 for those! Sadly, almost no place is open on weekends. Luckily, I found telekom and I am very happy I did. Walked in and there was one other person in there. The screen was completely black so I was ready to drop around $80 on a brand new screen and installation. Once I handed him the phone, he told me that he would check out my phone just to make sure it wasn't something else. It ended up just being a loose plug inside the camera from it being dropped. He easily could have charged me the full replacement price and I would have never known a thing but he didn't and I am very grateful for that. I was in and out in 10 minutes. *UPDATE* I settled for the cheaper screen and regret it. Screen is so sensitive. Can't make a phone call without my face opening new windows or hanging up or putting on mute. When using touch screen sometimes it doesn't touch until after a few taps. Price for non Apple screen was about $30 less but recommended going for the better one. The service tech told me that he could replace my battery and cracked screen for $90 in about 30 minutes. They were correct and I couldn't be happier. I've been here twice now. First was for a destroyed iPhone screen, and the second was to get the battery replaced. Both times the gentleman working was really friendly, and they were able to get the jobs done very quickly. The only negative (and it's slight and has never produced any problems so far, so I'm not lowering the star rating) is that when you drop the phone off, they have you put your name and number on a little post-it note which they put on the phone while it's worked on. There's no other documentation, nor is there any receipt/work order for customers to take with them while they leave their phones there. The first time I left my phone, I thought, "what if these guys decided to just keep/sell my phone? I've got nothing saying it was ever even here." And that's not to say they're untrustworthy by any means. It's just a little weird to hand over an expensive piece of electronics and the only thing tying you to it is a little post-it note. To their benefit, I've never actually *asked* for a receipt, so if I did, perhaps they'd be fine giving one. Regardless, they appear to do good work at a reasonable price and quick turnaround time. I'm happy to have such a business so close to where we live and I'll definitely return there when I inevitably break another screen. read more

Got my screen replaced at this place a couple of months ago SPECIFICALLY because they offered a 90 day warranty. A couple weeks later my screen cracked again despite having a case AND a screen protector. I contacted them and they wanted to charge me full price for another screen despite having the warranty! I searched around for a shop to replace the battery on my iPhone 6s. This place had great excellent reviews and the price was unbeatable. I walked in and found this shop was super clean and was greeted immediately by Mohamed, Leo and Adde. I told them what the issue was and they got to work immediately. They said it would take no longer than 20 minutes. So roughly 10 minutes passed by and guess what...the job was already done! Leo showed me the old battery and pointed out the warped areas. The new battery was oem which is a plus. Both the battery labor came with a 30 day warranty which was pretty awesome. The customer service was superb and the prices are unbeatable. Found these guys on offer up, let them know I needed a touch repair and I stated that "screen is not the issue". Any real repair shop knows this means it's an ic chip repair, also known as "touch death". they quoted me $80(normally pay $120) so I drove 20 min to go get a few phones repaired. After I arrived they tried to tell me that $80 is to replace the screen(I pay $50), even though it isn't a screen issue. The guy also tried to tell me that no one can fix the IC chip, only apple. I don't even bother calling around because they always give me the best price. The repair takes about 15-20 minutes if they aren't working on more. Check in on yelp and they will give you $5 off your repair. They are located near SDSU, off of University and College. They are friendly and accommodating to your needs. These guys are extremely quick, inexpensive, and honest. Honesty goes a long way for me, which is why I highly recommend this place. My iphone 5 suddenly stopped working a few months ago, and the guys at the apple store told me there was nothing they could do since it was no longer under warranty. I decided to bring my phone to a shop down south, where the guy replaced the battery, and said everything else looked good. I took my phone home, and long and behold, it was not able to charge. That was when I realized it was the charging port that needed to be replaced. The guy that changed my battery dodged all my phone calls, and so I was out $40. I decided to bring my iphone here the following week, at a last desperate attempt to revive my phone. I'm glad I did. I told the guys exactly what happened, and they checked the phone thoroughly. They concluded that the replacement battery that the last place put in was bad, and I thankfully still had the original apple battery on hand. The diagnosis was as I had expected, and within 30 minutes or so, my phone was up, running, and charging with no problems. Not only were they quick, but they were extremely inexpensive! If you check in on yelp, you get $5 off! While I was waiting for my phone to charge, I saw a couple other customers come in. The guys at telekom were swift to let the customers know that they were going to first inspect the phone to assure that there were no other factors in whatever was wrong with the phone. I highly recommend working with Adde and the guys at Telekom to take a look at your phone prior to spending an outrageous amount of money to buy a new phone. I was having an issue with the volume on my speaker not coming through very well despite having the volume turned up all the way, so the temporary solution to the volume issue was to have a conversation with my friends & family while on speakerphone. We all know you can't have a private conversation in public on speakerphone so I initially opted to buy a bunch of parts from eBay to try and fix my iPhone 6 myself at home. At the end of my DIY adventure I found out that my issue still wasn't resolved and my work also led to my microphone not picking up my voice when I spoke to the other party. I reluctantly went over to Telekom because I'm stubborn as hell about paying for a service that I feel that I can adequately do on my own. However, I'm so glad that I went over to see Adde because he was able to fix both issues at a VERY reasonable cost. The repair cost me a fraction of what a new iPhone would have costed me, but it was the level of service that I really appreciated more so than the reasonable cost of parts & repair. I came back a week and a half later because I got some feedback from a couple people on the other end of the phone informing me that they were still having issues hearing me. I explained the situation to him and he had my phone up and running at 100% within an hour! He never questioned me by asking for a receipt, didn't ask me if I had tampered with the phone, etc. I'm a financial planner by profession and I am very critical about the level of service and value that a business delivers, and that's because my own clients expect a high degree of service, value, and follow-up from me as well. i bought a used macbook pro from these guys. i originally called them from an ad i saw on craigs list. i didn't know it was a shop until i called. i really didn't want to buy from a shop because i figured it would be marked up or have cheap replaced parts in it, but i talked to Hassan on the phone and he seemed trustworthy so i decided to come by and take a look. the price of the computer was really competitive, even better than most similar macbook pros on craigslist. and on top of that he had five different macbook pros to choose from, all in good condition, ranging from 2008 to 2010. i could test out any of the computers and check them out in advance, which was way easier than taking a chance on just one at a time with individual sellers. also he wipes the hard drive clean on every computer and does a fresh install of osx lion, so it's like you're getting a new computer. and it came with a new power charger and a one week warranty! here are the summary points i enjoyed with telekom wireless: -- great selection of used macbook pros all in good condition -- came with one week warranty -- fresh install of osx makes it feel like new computer -- price was outstanding -- came with a new power cord (generic cord but still new and works great) i just couldn't be happier and will definitely be recommending them. read more
