Ping pong

They do not have food or a kitchen. Great place to hang out and get a few drinks though. No one was rude.

Every time I stop into this bar I have fun. I think the music gives off a punk rock bar vibe that makes me feel at home. I heard Op Ivy and NoFx in my short time there last night. They have a fun hot nuts selection and bags of chips. Drinks are great and when the regular bartender is there I recommend getting an old fashioned. This bar is fun and has a dive feel but with a nice restroom that is a little better than a standard dive bar. They also have a lovely sweet, hidden back patio.

This is for all you 70's and 80's kids. You remember your friends basement that had that woody musty smell, perhaps from the wood paneling l, maybe from a little mold, maybe both? Who knows, all you know is that this place and this smell meant refuge from the adults. A place where you and your buddies could be as weird aS you wanted to be. For those of your to young to know watch That 70's show. Same feels. This is Teddy's on Roosevelt.

Drinks were very affordable and good quality for being a dive style bar. The outdoor seating area has a ping pong table and it's secluded from the noise of the cars outside. Bathrooms are a bit snug but other than that a great casual bar to visit!

If you like the smell of urine or being served an underfilled pint glass, then this bar is your thing. Come on in; this joint is what you need. This is obviously a Husky bar. For the above reasons mostly. Overpriced, for the same overrated garbage you can get literally anywhere else. Sounds like UW to me.

This is the manager (on the right) who refused entry to a person with a service dog.

I had the worst bar-going experience ever here the other night. I guess I've just grown used to people who work in the bars around here actually being friendly... The manager of this bar openly discriminated against me on 11/10/17 for having a SERVICE dog and made me feel so incredibly unwelcome that I will NEVER be back; except to get an apology from the rude guy with his hands up in this picture. I know the laws, he clearly DOES NOT. In short, what happened: My 3 friends and I try to enter, the manager says, rudely, right off the bat, "Yeah no dogs allowed." I told him she was a service dog and he asked me for "papers or identification." I told him there was no such thing as a "national service dog registry" or cards identifying a dog as a service dog and he insisted that there IS a national service dog registry. (LOL, those sites are SCAMS!) I told him I had accidentally forgotten her service dog vest at home (which I do have, and usually put on when going new places to avoid situations like this). I attempted to explain to him that there are two questions he is allowed to ask me to determine if she is a service dog, but that she's not legally required to have any identification, at which point he said, "Yeah no, the health department told me they need papers, I can't let you in." I told him it's illegal to refuse entry to someone with a service dog and instead of hearing me out, he became ruder, and said, "Can't you just find somewhere else to go?" I asked him, "Can't you just follow the law?" He continued to get more upset, practically physically blocking me from entering the building and stating, "Can you just go? You don't have papers, she's not a service dog" I told him I wasn't going to purchase fake papers online when I have a real note from my doctor (which I certainly don't have to produce to a bartender!). He then told me, "I know you're lying and that she's not a real service dog because you said you weren't going to buy fake papers." I can't even begin to explain to you the level of incompetence exhibited by this man! I tried to show him the law on my phone, and he just refused to look at it and told me to go somewhere else. When I said, "Ok so just so be clear you're discriminating against a person with a disability?" He sarcastically said, "yeah ok sure." I almost didn't believe he was the manager, based on how rude he was being, so I took his picture in case I needed it in the future. I should have left sooner, but I kept thinking "if I try to reason with this guy, like I have so many other people, he'll look up the law, and be informed." NOPE. UNBELIEVABLE. I deal with this all the time, but never have I encountered someone so obstinate, who refused to listen to reason or look up the law for himself, here ya go (http://www.wla.org/assets/WALE/2015WALEConference/Service%20Animals%20and%20the%20Washington%20Law%20Against%20Discrimination.pdf ) I'm considering filing a complaint with the disability services section of the department of justice. Yes, I realize I don't use a wheelchair and I'm not blind. I don't look like the typical person with a disability, but any educated person knows about invisible disabilities and any bar MANAGER SHOULD KNOW THE LAW. (He claims "the health department told me this": people in the health dept are just people and they make mistakes, the law is the law and it has the final word)

The greatest bar on planet earth. Fresh squeezed juice for every cocktail. Ping pong on their patio out back.

As a cider fan, I was especially happy to see a solid variety of options. Although I had a frustrating experience with the kitchen, but I'd still come back. It was an especially hectic day with multiple events and a soccer game, so it seemed like everyone arrived at once. I ended up waiting about an hour for my food, which was disappointing. That said, the staff handled the situation really well, there was consistent communication, and they took the time to engage with us, which I appreciated. Still, the kitchen delays and order issues shouldn't be overlooked. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of games, which I'm looking forward to trying next time. The location is another plus, just a few minutes' walk from the T-Link, making it very convenient.

Still decent, just not something I'd rave about. The mini golf is definitely the highlight. It's really cute how the course spells out "SEATTLE," and I loved the little Space Needle to end the last of the mini golf holes. That said, there are only 9 holes and they're pretty small, so it goes by quickly. Drinks are all on tap and feature local/Washington breweries, which I really appreciated. I love supporting local! We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated. They also had cornhole and a ping pong table, which made it feel like like there variety of things to do. Loved the vibes/ambiance (fun art and murals) and music. Overall, a fun spot for a casual hangout -- especially if you catch one of their deals!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
