So many repair shops either didn't want to bother or quoted a ridiculous, "eff-off" price just to send a message that they didn't want to work on them. He did not. Very knowledgeable and friendly "nerd" owner with a great, customer-oriented attitude. And he underpriced the competition by almost half! (My suspicion is that the others break a lot of screens doing this repair, so they build in the cost of making a mistake into their price; whereas he is careful enough and uses methods to not break the screen so as to not need to build the cost of his mistakes into the price.) FWIW, I have high standards, sometimes think I know too much, and can ask too many questions. Mike indulged me on all questions regarding a simple iPad repair and then some. (Other repair shops didn't want to talk about their methods or ideas). Cleaned my iPhone port for free, too! Very good communication of the risks and options for the iPad repair. I left my phone for an hour came back to a screen that was a demo screen so it was grey with lines all in it and my home button didn't work. They were out of iPhone screens, Never got asked if that was okay to put a demo screen on. So I go back the next day after the shipment came in and leave it for another hour. Come back and the home button still didn't work. She tells me that is it was something that apple just started doing. Okay? So I was like I work from my phone, I am not paying almost 200$ for my phone not to work for an issue that I didn't even bring it in for. Took my cell phone to this business yesterday at 10am, they told me it would take a couple of hours…read morebut they would fix my phone. After describing the problems I was having they said it could be the battery but they wouldn't know for sure until they ran some diagnostics. I came back 4 hours later and they said the battery looked fine so they didn't know what was wrong but they were still running diagnostics. They promised they would call in one more hour and have the phone fixed. They never called. I drove back to the business 15 mins before closing at 6:45pm, and the girl tells me she's sorry she forgot to call me and admits she still doesn't know whats wrong with my phone, but says if I want to try a new battery it will take three days to order a new one! I said forget it, and took my phone home. Next day I took my phone to a more reputable and long-term business in Bastrop called "Computer Literate" and the guy said no problem, just give him one hour. I came back later, my phone was fixed, it only needed a new battery, which he keeps in stock (unlike the other place), and it cost me $50. I will never go another place besides Computer Literate again, learned my lesson. In addition, Computer Literate is a small local business, not a chain like Phone Clinic.

What a joke of a place. Went in there to have a battery replaced on an iPad and they completely…read moreruined it. Spent almost 2 weeks for them trying to find me one to replace it. The kid Geronimo that works there is rude and has no clue what he's doing. Do not take your equipment there. No one knows what they're doing. They'll send it back broken or they'll send it back completely ruined to the point where they have to buy you a new one. I would like to speak to the manager, but Geronimo doesn't pass the messages on to the manager.
