I had been quoted a price of $250. The higher price was because I requested the use of OEM parts. The gentleman at the shop took it and was giving it a thorough inspection. He asked me what I had been quoted and then said lI think I'm going to save you some money. He peeled of the glass protective cover. the screen wasn't broken, it was the protective cover! He put on a new one and charged me $5.00. A dishonest business could have easily told me to come back in an hour and charged me the original quoted price. I would have been none the wiser. Thank you Longhorn.

Atmosphere: Nothing flashy--just functional, which is exactly what you want when your laptop is on the fritz. Service: Friendly, efficient, and communicative. They're good about quoting before work starts and answering questions clearly (even after hours in some cases), and they'll tell you what can be done same-day vs. what needs parts. I spoke mostly with Patrick and he was very cordial and to the point. These guys know what they are doing, since most of them are former Apple specialists. Notes/Tips: Call ahead or request a quote online if you're on a tight schedule. Bring your charger if the issue seems power-related--it helps them test faster. (General best practice.) Definitely my top recommended for any Apple based repairs needed

I left my phone for an hour came back to a screen that was a demo screen so it was grey with lines all in it and my home button didn't work. They were out of iPhone screens, Never got asked if that was okay to put a demo screen on. So I go back the next day after the shipment came in and leave it for another hour. Come back and the home button still didn't work. She tells me that is it was something that apple just started doing. Okay? So I was like I work from my phone, I am not paying almost 200$ for my phone not to work for an issue that I didn't even bring it in for. She tells me she can refund my money and put my old screen back on. So once again I leave it for another hour! I come back and my phone does not work at all! After describing the problems I was having they said it could be the battery but they wouldn't know for sure until they ran some diagnostics. I came back 4 hours later and they said the battery looked fine so they didn't know what was wrong but they were still running diagnostics. They promised they would call in one more hour and have the phone fixed. They never called. I drove back to the business 15 mins before closing at 6:45pm, and the girl tells me she's sorry she forgot to call me and admits she still doesn't know whats wrong with my phone, but says if I want to try a new battery it will take three days to order a new one! I said forget it, and took my phone home. Next day I took my phone to a more reputable and long-term business in Bastrop called "Computer Literate" and the guy said no problem, just give him one hour. I came back later, my phone was fixed, it only needed a new battery, which he keeps in stock (unlike the other place), and it cost me $50.
