He promptly identified the pump that failed in my washer and had a replacement in his vehicle. Took him a few minutes and the deed was done! He left me the parts to verify the work (thank you!) I appreciated his care and cleaning up making the work look effortless (and I know it wasn't!). He had to make some electrical connections for the replacement pump and it was working on no time! I will happily pay for his expertise any day!

Loi Nghiem came; he couldn't find anything wrong. He said he could give me 10 dollars off the 90 dollar service call if I paid cash. He also cleaned underneath my stove (40 dollars- a discount of 30, he said). He refused to give me a receipt because he gave me a discount. I am reporting him to the cra and consumer ripoffs. Obviously, he is not claiming the money on his taxes. What a jerk. It is illegal to not provide a receipt when a customer requests one.

Their building is unpretentious but it means that AW keeps its costs down as well. Staff is friendly but professional and the showroom is well-stocked. Delivery is quick and punctual. All sales are warranted for a year which came in handy when we discovered that the oven light didn't work. The serviceman found the fuse that was blown, replaced it and the bulb. In summary, good value and good service.

Then be after 5 pm?!?! you know the route your tech will be on, it's insane to not have a rough timeline. I had a very disappointing experience with Advance Appliance. A technician came to my home three…read moreseparate times to address the same washing machine issue, but the problem was never resolved. After the third visit, the appliance is still not functioning properly. What has been most frustrating is the lack of follow-up. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company for further assistance, and my calls have not been returned. At this point, I have paid for service without receiving a working repair or any meaningful customer support. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Reliable communication and standing behind repair work are essential, and unfortunately that has not happened here.

I wrote this for google reviews, but may as well spread it around:…read more If you use these guys for an appliance repair, you can rest assured they will be late - even for an all-day appointment - if they bother to show up at all. I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.
