We were having Wifi trouble at home on and off the past three weeks and had contacted our cable provider and the maker of our router and we had no luck getting things back up and running smoothly. This was especially troubling because we do a lot of business at home and we were losing time and patience not being able to access the internet. Was looking for a good IT computer repair in Orange County to fix my WIFI and found Tech Trekkers on Yelp. Called and spoke with Ray about an issue with my WIFI signal not covering my whole house. He and Paul came out in a matter of days - easy, no hassle scheduling; he didn't give me a 4 hour window and expect me to sit around the house all day like some companies called Geek Squad, lol. Next, he not only handled the WIFI issue, which now works perfectly, but he also dove into several miscellaneous issues like my DirecTV connection and fixed a wiring issue in my audio system. Long overdue review as Ray came out about a year ago to my residence. I was having issues with my connections at home - the panels looked like I was set up to be hard wired for internet but this was not the case. Ray was able to get parts ordered within a few days; came out and had the home done within a few hours. I called him today to get some help as I was having some problems getting the LAN to work in another room - he was able to diagnose and fix over the phone on a Sunday! At 10pm on a Tuesday, my laptop picked up an NSA virus right after I submitted a 10 page project for business school online. I gave up trying to fix it at 2am. Believe all the 5-star reviews. They are the real deal. I have used them 4 times now and they have been fantastic every time! Ray saved me a couple different times when a computer was going into full melt-down. And Paul was a whiz at helping with upgrades and advice on how to network things, and go wireless, and what to buy. They visit you at your location to find out the problem, do a quick analysis and interview you to find out your needs. Then "they" take action to buy what's needed, come back, unwrap it, plug it all in, test run it, get the bugs out, and then, make sure you are comfortable with the whole deal before leaving. Unreal? Nope... And the best part is that they are "patient" and let you ask all sorts of dumb questions without making you feel dumb. I don't know how computers work and I don't know what to buy, nor do I have the time to search around the computer store like an idiot, buying the wrong stuff.
