My 2014 MacBook Pro battery was long overdue for a replacement so I set out to get a few quotes for the job via Yelp and Alex, the owner responded to the bid almost immediately. I provided him with the exact model # and he gave me a quote. I stop by to make a 50% deposit so he can order the replacement battery and after a few days it arrived and I stopped by to drop off my laptop. He quoted me 1.5hrs for the repair since he was still working on another project. About an hour later, much less than the quoted time- he was done. I came in to inspect the laptop and see that it charges and the battery health in the operating system updated as new instead of the old alert for replacement- I knew it was good to go. I'd definitely recommend this place for the value- compared to other quotes I received on this project. The professionalism of Alex and also the prompt communication, which is a big plus in my book. Everyone is so busy and tech-reliant, when you need tech repair, you need it done ASAP and Alex does not waste any time. I might need to come in soon and get my secondary phone battery and charging port repaired. Check out Tech Labz for all your tech repair! read more

Rodrigo was so nice! He helped me fix my Chromebook in a jiffy, 15 minutes! I had been trying by myself for hours.

Great work Rodrigo, made my Dell look brand new at a great price. I appreciate the communication and quick work.

Top notch customer service! Requested a quote at 9:30pm at night and got a response in less than 30 mins. Very quick responses! Consultation was amazing. I didn't even know that the only thing I needed to fix was my screen because I got it water damaged and thought that the inside needed to be fix. Alex communicated with me and told me that the only thing that needed to fix was the screen. I thought it would've costed $$$, but with the consultation and communication, it only costed me $$. My phone works amazing and perfect now! read more

I didn't get the MacBook fixed here because the computer is too old and the part was not available. *BUT* the guy I talked to over the phone helped me get into the computer so now it is usable. FOR FREE. If you're interested in the details, read on. The number 3 button on my daughter's 2012 MacBook air went out, and this prevented us from unlocking the computer since her password had the number 3 in it. The computer has been sitting on a shelf in my room for maybe four years now, because I am a lazy procrastinator and the kid just started using my MacBook instead. A few months ago, my daughter asked to fix her computer or to get a new one, since she would be starting college courses soon. So I decided to look into how much it would cost to fix vs buying a new computer. First I called Apple. They wanted over $400, which was not worth it to fix such an old computer. Then a company in Los Alamitos wanted $350ish. Also not worth it. Then a company in Long Beach wanted $250ish, which I was willing to pay, but their online system of making an appointment was too complicated for me. Then I called Tech Labz, and he said he couldn't get the part to fix the computer but suggested I plug in an external keyboard to enter the password. I did not know you could just plug in an external keyboard. I thought you had to install drivers and stuff. NO ONE else suggested this to me. I really appreciate the help and will not hesitate to come here if any of the iphones break. THANK YOU. read more

5 star Fixed cracked iPad works great, pricing was very reasonable and was done when he said it would.

We were traveling to visit family in So. Cal. and during the trip the UCB-C charging port on our youngest daughter's Samsung Galaxy tablet got messed up because the wrong connector got jammed into the port. As a result the tablet could no longer charge. For those of you with kids know that you need to keep them entertained when on family road trips. We called a number of places and we got varying degrees of responses ranging from "it can't be repaired" or "it would take multiple days". Since we were in town for just 2.5 days We need someone that could get the necessary parts and fix it quickly. We contacted Alex and he said that he could get the part and fix it within a day. In fact he exceeded my expectations as he was able to get it fixed in less than a day. He was extremely professional, kept me updated on the status and did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Alex particularly if you need to get some repaired quickly. read more

When I was literally laughed at for trying to fix my 7 year old computer or even the thought of having it fixed. Alex messaged me and said bring it in. He gave me a new operating system and all my files were there. It's humming like a new computer. Thank you Alex read more

Came in for a broken screen on my iPhone 5S, left with a broken phone. I came in with my phone working perfectly fine with just a broken screen and got the phone back in a vegetative state, couldn't restore it or do anything with it. Omar, the owner, even had me pay first and then basically told me 'hey, by the way, it doesn't work anymore'. So now, I'm out $200 and a month's worth of pictures. Come here at your own risk because they didn't offer to reimburse me for the phone or even apologize. The employees at the Apple store said something might've been short circuited when it was being repaired, which makes sense because I gave it to him in working condition and I got it back useless. They even gave me the screen more cracked than I brought it in as a the cherry on top. I got the refund but still lost my phone. Customer beware read more

Owner reached out again and offered to replace my faulty screen for $25 instead of $65. While it was annoying for me to have to pay again for the screen, it was more reasonable. He kept a great attitude, and even gave me a free charger. read more

My boyfriend unfortunately dropped his Apple Watch Nike SE 44mm on a tiny Little Rock that shattered his whole screen. We originally brought it to Best Buy who quoted us almost $200. We decided to take it back and find another place. I reached out to a few places near my house and this place along with the gentleman that helped was the best price and very accommodating! I brought it in on Thursday and they were closed Friday so he called me Saturday to pick up but I forgot about it until Monday. He gave me two courtesy calls which I really appreciate. Anyway, Apple Watch looks good as new and my man went straight to Amazon to get a case because Apple Watch screen cracking is no joke! read more

My wife's iPhone XS Max screen broke and I initially experienced some sticker shock when calling for repair estimates. In addition, I spoke to 3 other repair companies in the area on a Thursday and they all stated they needed to order the component and it would not arrive until the middle of next week. I spoke with Omar at Cell Phone Repair House to get one last estimate and I'm so glad I did. He gave me the most competitive quote for the repair (still not cheap but easily beat the other quotes I received). In addition, he also needed to order the part but said he could get it by the next day! I live a little further away and asked if i needed to come in to pay for the repair/part so he could order it but he understood that it would be an inconvenience to me and ordered the part without any deposit. Omar called me 1 day later to let me know the part was in and I came in shortly after. I brought my laptop to get some work done at a local Starbucks but by the time I got settled in, the repair was already done! Only took 20 minutes. Best experience ever. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed. read more

I purchased an iPhone mini with Verizon. While I was trying to activate the new phone on my own, it got interrupted and I couldn't make it work even after I called Verizon customer service. I was so frustrated because Verizon couldn't fix my problem until I can make an appointment with their corporate branch and of course due to Covid, they can't see me for 2 days. I went to Cell Phone Repair House and Ali helped me! He is so patient and very cool! He was able to finish the activation of my new phone and transferred all my data from my old iPhone to the new one. After everything he did for me, he didn't even charge me at all. Ali is awesome and I highly recommend this business! Thank you so much, Ali! read more

My macbook's screen was replaced at a great price compared to competitors and was ready very quickly!

I first contacted them on Yelp and they responded so quickly! I also found that it was cheaper than most places to get an OEM screen (with original Apple responsivity). I went in around noon and it only took around 15 minutes to get my screen fixed for my iPhone 7. Quick & easy - I would totally recommend. read more

Dropped my iPhoneX with a case on, it first had a vertical line issue and eventually just went black. I took my phone to Apple Genius Bar to get a diagnosis for repair and they told me it wasn't repairable by Apple because it was a power issue so I was really doubtful this would get fixed but to my surprise, Ali repaired it in 30 minutes. Was not a power issue that apple claimed. Service was super fast and price was very reasonable considering how much I would have paid at the apple store. Apple "genius" fail - When you try to get too technical with all your diagnostic software and equipment and turns out it was much more simpler. read more

I broke my phone yesterday in a car accident and immediately headed out to Great Wolf Lodge as planned. I started looking up places to repair my phone since it was completely shattered. Not only did Alex respond within minutes, he offered me a next day appointment to fit around my schedule. When I went to drop off my phone, he was informative and polite. I've never had a broken phone before, and he put me at ease returning my phone better than new. I am beyond thankful!! read more

I'm not sure how busy other places are that they can try to charge whatever they want. These guys are awesome! Straight forward. Worked within my budget and was super polite. Not to mention, the quality wasn't impacted. I just needed a quick fix to trade in a barely chipped iphone7 that has a recall. Apple is a sham! Unfornatley, I'm. Addicted to apple products. Telling all my friends and cousins about this shop!! Looks like brand new. read more
